Lovely! And very interesting!!! Of course, it is a must-visit if you have reached the Emirates. The territory itself deserves to be inspected and, if you are lucky with the schedule, you can listen to a lecture or presentation. In the Louvre itself, everything is arranged quite differently - according to the epochs and you can see what happened at the same time in China, in some Polynesia and in Persia, for example. Very cool, because usually collections are arranged by geography. In addition - follow the exhibitions - there was an exhibition of post-impressionism on our arrival, just a gorgeous collection from several museums. It is very interesting to watch the audience - there are a lot of Europeans, but there are also a lot of locals. Of course, children run around and get mad, but no one pulls them, so it does not interfere at all. In terms of time, we enjoyed spending half a day, but we are always in no hurry, we can limit ourselves to 2-3 hours if we just take a look. There are construction sites around, but this is almost everywhere in the Emirates. Tickets were taken online, there was an audio guide. There's still some kind of evening show going on, you can combine it, but we weren't interested.
It is not correct to compare it with the Louvre of Paris, it is a museum built in recent years on the site of a desert, or a part of a desert. That's what's impressive. I recommend it! Enjoy!!!

One of the reasons for a trip to the Emirates, or rather to Abu Dhabi, is to visit this museum.
It was not possible to buy tickets online, UnionPay did not pass either on the website or during a visit (maybe you should have tried inserting a card). Paid in cash.
There are not many exhibits, but they are all real, not new models, nor copies, but originals. It's a strange concept for organizing them into halls, but on the whole it's interesting.
The museum has a personal WiFi, downloaded the app and were able to enjoy stories about the exhibits in Russian. Some of the halls have already changed expositions and not all information has been updated in the application. But overall very good.
There is a cafe on site, with adequate prices and delicious coffee.

There are works from the period of the Egyptian Pharaohs to the Cubism of the twentieth century seridina. An electric car runs from the parking lot to the museum, which can bring you for free.
Minuses. All annotations are written in three languages, Arabic, English, French. There is no Russian. Paintings by local artists are not represented. I am sure that there are talented creators in the UAE.
We must try not only to take from other cultures, but also to develop our own.
