An amazing place!!!! The story with illustrations and photos from different years is very impressive. We walked for several hours, I strongly advise you to visit.
I visited Mir Castle for the first time in the summer of 2016. Our one-day bus tour consisted of visiting Mirsky and Nesvizh castles. This was enough for the first acquaintance. After 7 years, we decided to visit Mir Castle for a more detailed inspection, and spent the whole day here. The red and pink towers with tiled roofs against the blue sky simply captivated us. The castle looks impressive and solid. The purchased tickets allowed us to visit the expositions of the Northern Building of the castle, the Southwestern and Central Towers, and the prison basement. Walking around the area around the castle, you can take a lot of great photos.
The castle is not as big as we imagined, and 15 minutes is enough to walk and see the castle. There is a restaurant downstairs, but since there were a lot of tourists, we visited another restaurant next to the castle, which serves game dishes. In principle , it 's fine .
I liked the castle. I've been to different ones, this one is interesting with a story. A real one, not a palace or a fake one. We did not go to the museum, took a walk and looked at it from different sides.
A good historical place, ticket prices are inexpensive, the only thing is that if there are a lot of people, then it is a little uncomfortable in the narrow passages, it is difficult to pass. There are several cafes near the castle and souvenir shops.
It is definitely worth a visit. To touch the antiquity, to listen to the history of the castle. Everything has been preserved in the best possible way. It's just great. I recommend
It is worth visiting Mir Castle! an interesting museum, the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, good views, a good restaurant in the castle! I'll be back again.
It's a very beautiful castle. I was pleased that the entrance to the territory is free, and is open until the start of excursions.
We walked around, went into the yard.
I didn't have enough time for the tour, there will be an excuse to come again)
There is a parking lot with stalls with food, coffee, ice cream and souvenirs.
I'll be honest. If you go to Mir Castle, then first you need to clarify whether there will be Scots in front of the castle, if there will be....Go! It's fun, cool and not forgettable. The castle itself is enough to look at from the outside, there is a very strong lack of interactivity of any kind. If you haven't been, you definitely need to go once
A very beautiful place, a must-visit. It's a pity we ended up there in the evening and were content with visiting the inner square and the surrounding area under an audio guide. But we had a good snack at the Princely Courtyard restaurant in the basement.
A place filled with history. Immerses you in the time of the knights. Steep narrow stairs leading to both towers and basements with interesting exhibitions.
A very interesting place, I recommend you to visit. An interesting tour inside the castle, which is well preserved, and you can also walk around the territory yourself, climb spiral stairs, take beautiful photos.
Krasoten, was present with schoolchildren from Minsk (coincidentally), the presentation of the material by the guides is simply a masterpiece. Thank you very much, from Russia with love.
We took an individual tour and were very satisfied, it was fun and informative.
The castle has been perfectly restored, the decorations, furniture, tiles - everything is very impressive.
A very interesting historical site.
We walked around all the towers and passages with pleasure and interest in a very atmospheric way.
I recommend you to visit
The castle is like a castle. It is kept in good condition. Well done! The boys will have plenty of room to walk along the wall (the second and third parts) there is a cafe in the basement, try a cooler there.
A beautiful beautiful place. I recommend the palace and a half-price ticket. The church with the tomb can be viewed from the outside, saving part of the cost. Inside the church there is a new model, in the tomb (basement) there are slabs of those buried on the floor.
The castle is already on the way. Impressive. Despite the "modernity" during the restoration, the impression of a real old life is created. Interesting, informative excursions, a lot of portraits and exhibits simply plunge visitors into the era. Souvenir shops will help to preserve the memory of the visit. You can have a great lunch at the restaurant. Tired travelers can relax at the castle hotel.
This is our cultural heritage!
Everything is majestic, it breathes antiquity.
But, everything is a little unkempt, the glasses are very dirty (if you want to take a photo, it won't work), cobwebs and, as it seemed to me, there are fewer exhibits.
Yes, don't go up to the upper floors of the towers, it's so empty 🤣
An interesting location on the way to Brest. I recommend visiting this castle first before seeing the castle in Nesvizh. The difference between the historical era and the preservation of castles will be immediately noticeable. Both are interesting, but different. Mir Castle is more ancient and more like a fortress.
We really liked it. It was May 10th. Interesting excursions, a picturesque place, beautiful views and the castle itself. I recommend you to visit the Republic of Belarus.
It's really cool!
Cardio training is provided for you))))
When I come to Belarus again, I will definitely visit this castle again.
There are a lot of people, but it's worth it!
The tour is wonderful. The castle is quite far from Minsk, so it is better to get here with a guided tour of the castles. It is very interesting to climb the narrow stairs in the towers and walk through the passages.
A very beautiful Polish-style castle, where you can stay overnight and visit a restaurant. The restaurant, however, lacks authenticity, apart from imitation of Latin in the halls and medieval music
When visiting the restaurant, sea buckthorn kvass is required for familiarization - the best kvass that I drank in Belarus. Otherwise, everything is very good. The hotel is located directly in the castle, you can go to a restaurant or on a guided tour in slippers. I recommend a 2-level suite from the rooms.
Complete immersion in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages! We've been looking for a ram's head for a long time)) but they never found her. If you do not take a tour, then be sure to read the legend about the inhabitants of the castle and about the cursed lake before visiting, goosebumps are provided for you!
Less than his neighbor Nesvizh, but, of course, a must-visit!!! Especially when you sit on a bench in the pond in the company and read the mystical stories of the castle about the owner's daughter Sophia, who drowned in this lake.
Great castle! We took tickets to all the rooms. We climbed the towers, went down to the basements, walked around the lake. There is a lot of parking nearby, the guard seals are very cute
I advise you to visit the castle. The only thing is, don't come hungry-the restaurant is sooo expensive and dress sporty, there are a lot of steep stairs. My legs hurt for 2 days afterwards. A historical place. It is not necessary to take an akdiagid or an excursion. Everything is available in the descriptions of the exhibitions. A visit costs 16 Belarusian rubles per adult.
A pleasant little castle with interesting labyrinths, basements, towers and passageways.. in one of the towers there is an interesting and touching museum about the ghetto of the Second World War.
There are a lot of unforgettable impressions. This place is worth a visit. But it is worth remembering that the castle towers have very narrow and steep steps. Remember this and have an unforgettable time
A wonderful historical place, paved roads, bridges, interior surroundings for 10/10! I recommend everyone to visit here, take a walk around the lake, feel the local atmosphere!
I liked the castle, we initially came there only to walk around the area, without excursions, because I read reviews that there is a problem with this. And I don't like that kind of thing. We were delighted with the castle, it is a very atmospheric place, as if you are immersed in distant years.
A must-visit place in Belarus. Incredible beauty, grandeur and antiquity. Everything is well maintained and clean. I highly recommend it. I can't even believe that there are such castles and such a story in Belarus.
Overpriced. 6 rubles Nesvizh and 17 rubles Mirsky, although Nesvizh is much more interesting. There were no bedrooms in Mirsky. There are few rooms available. It is unclear where to go, there are few signs indicating. Rude staff. A woman in the basement ran over us when we wanted to return to the castle, did not let us in, we had to swear, they say you were already there on the 2nd and 3rd floor. But I want and go for my 17 rubles wherever I want and how much I want!
The most beautiful castle is an hour's drive from Minsk, a beautiful territory, and since Nesvizh Castle is also nearby, I recommend visiting them in one trip.
