The beginning of travel in Belarus began with Grodno. I was pleasantly surprised by the Neman Hotel! The rooms are spacious, nice, clean and cozy. I didn't want to get out of bed!!) A very hearty breakfast and delicious, the staff is polite. In general, only pleasant impressions. It is convenient that there is a restaurant and a coffee shop! I will definitely come back again!

But this minus pales in front of the pros - an amazing location! Right on the central square. Nearby castles, a church, a square, a drama theater. Simple rooms, with imperfect plumbing, without screens on the windows (there are a lot of mosquitoes in summer), it is impossible not to open the windows, since there is no ventilation (air conditioning). The breakfasts are very simple, the portion is limited (not enough for an adult man). It is normal for one night, but I do not recommend it for longer.

We rented a suite for 4 people (as we were assured by email), they did not make a sofa for us upon arrival, we had to do it ourselves, as well as ask for bed linen 2 times. All this was done reluctantly. Of course, a bag of shower gel was never added to us. The sofa creaked terribly, the room itself is furnished normally, although in a rather old-fashioned style. The breakfast is edible, but also without frills. The location of the hotel is convenient.

I had to turn on the heater to keep the room warm. And do something about breakfast. The continental breakfast is stone age. There should be a buffet. Not respectable for a 4* hotel. Let's start with the food. Four tables, three of them eggs in different shapes. And only the fourth one with cottage cheese casserole and oatmeal porridge.
And that's exactly why there is no curd casserole at eight o'clock in the morning, it's over. Was there one?
To begin with, they offered to leave only porridge as a substitute)
After a timid protest, they added either charlotte or dumplings with cottage cheese to choose from. We decided to choose this and that and couldn't eat it.
We tried only one table, so maybe scrambled eggs are a better choice.
Next...
the room is nice and spacious, the furniture is stylish, the beds are comfortable, the linen is snow-white new, the towels are crystal clean.
Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV. Everything works.
There are no complaints about the staff. They are polite and know their job.
But there is a drop of tar everywhere...The shovel is in the blood of the Belarusians too. We could not finish the 5-star hotel.
The shower room is a horror... you stand in the water and the water remains in the tray after washing.
There is no bidet, as required by five stars.
In general, the hotel is good, but there is something that will not allow you to come and stay in it a second time.
Well, it's worth making sockets available) so that you don't have to crawl under the table on all fours and turn on your phone to charge...
In the end, I'll say this... it does not cost 160 rubles per day per person, this is a flophouse.
