Отличное место....но для тех, кто из Москвы вряд ли чему сможете удивиться. Скажем так - проверенное надежное место для тех, кто ценит сервис/качество/внимание/.....
Здесь нет того удивительного шарма, что есть в ряде местных и национальных ресторанах, но есть то, что можно и стоит ценить - постоянство и качество! Переговоры, романтический ужин, дружеская встреча, чтобы не было неожиданностей - если вы про это, вам сюда!!!
Great place... but for those from Moscow you will hardly be surprised by anything. Let's say this - a proven reliable place for those who value service/quality/attention/.....
There is no amazing charm here that is in a number of local and national restaurants, but there is something that can and should be appreciated - consistency and quality! Negotiations, a romantic dinner, a friendly meeting, so that there are no surprises - if you are talking about this, this is the place for you!!!

We visited many different restaurants in 6 days. This is the best place in our opinion. Delicious food, well-prepared. We enjoyed our visit. Perfectly cooked squid and spaghetti with seafood, delicious tacos. There is also Italian wine by the glass (not found anywhere else), you can sit outside with a glass and a delicious snack! Desserts and ice cream are good too. And a good level of service is immediately recognized! The prices are quite high.

Everything is perfect in the restaurant! The atmosphere, the service, the quality of the dishes - everything was a pleasure. I had breakfast, I ate eggs Benedict with duck and pancakes with strawberries. Benedict is divine, and the British should come here to learn how to cook the national English dish, which is pancakes))
* there is even regular lactose-free milk, which I personally always suffer from abroad

Novikov is doing great as always. But the staff in Baku is not very friendly. I came for breakfast, for pancakes, the time is about 11:30-40, weekday (weekday breakfasts are until 12:00), the receptionist who takes the order at first wanted to refuse to cook my dish, they say that's it, breakfast is not ready, but then "made an exception" by accepting my order. Dear friends, since when do they stop cooking breakfast UNTIL the time indicated in the menu? Wait a minute, my order also arrived before 12. In my opinion, you think too much of yourself;)
And the pancakes were delicious. But the aftertaste remained unpleasant because of such a misunderstanding.

Excellent location, beautiful interior, interesting and delicious dishes. Desserts are my personal paradise (I would like to live). I definitely recommend it.
Cons: our waiter swam through the menu (even drowned), could not tell us what is included in salads and other dishes. This is important to me, because I don't eat fish and I eat meat very selectively, and I also have some food allergies. I got the impression that the waiter does not know what is included in the dishes at all. So people with allergies should be careful.

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Azerbaijan and were pleasantly surprised to find a Novikov restaurant in Baku. This is the place we are used to in Moscow, but with some differences.
The first thing that catches your eye is the prices. They were higher in Baku than in the Russian capital. But despite this, the restaurant is in demand not only among tourists. Apparently, the quality of the dishes, the design and the well-trained staff are worth it.
The interior of the restaurant in Baku is made in the same elegant style as the Moscow establishments of the chain. The dishes also delight with their quality and variety.

It's a very nice and delicious place. There were five of us, each took 2 dishes and each was great.
I would like to pay special attention to the service and note the waiters Orkhan and Sarkhan, who are very quick and attentive to the details.

Just a great place!
Very tasty. I especially like borscht, chicken karage, trout cutlets, duck with mashed potatoes. It may be a little more expensive than in other places, but it's worth it. Excellent service. The guys are giving their best 100%. Desserts are like works of art.

We were at breakfast. We arrived at 8 a.m. sharp. We were the only visitors and immediately placed an order. The first course arrived in 40 minutes. If you want to have breakfast before work, you are not here!
Order a cappuccino if you are very thirsty - they brought you a cup for about half a liter, only Americans like coffee in this amount of water. No one asks how much to do.
The dishes are quite tasty, but their appearance is not very attractive.
As a result, we had 50 minutes for breakfast and had to swallow everything very quickly, without really feeling the taste.
Summary: if you expect Novikov Group quality, moderate your expectations, this is not the case here.
Yes, it's a little stuffy on the veranda because of the hot ventilation that blows directly onto the tables.

Nice beautiful place. Very comfortable chairs. We sat inside, but the veranda is also beautiful! Sarkhan's waiter is simply gorgeous. We were three minutes late for breakfast, but he brought pancakes anyway, as we really wanted to. He is very kind and polite, he has 5 stars separately.

It's a good place. It's delicious, the service is good, the prices are normal. Tipping is enabled by default. A small request to the manager/owner. We were on the open veranda. There was a cat who was allowed too much, including sitting on tables. No one else chased the cat away and the animal did not respond to our requests, that is, it is clearly at home here)) I understand that for many cats it's cute and wonderful, but no one has canceled sanitary standards.

It's an amazing place! After five days in Baku, we got tired of the poor service, we came here with a clear understanding that everything would be perfect - and it happened!
Manager Nazrin paid special attention to us, initially there were practically no tables, but she organized a great place for us, helped with ordering dishes not from the menu, made sure that the waiter was always on hand. And in general, the staff is wonderful, you feel like in a good restaurant in Russia. When they found out it was my birthday, they gave me a cake and gave me a 15percent discount on the entire receipt. We stayed a little late after closing, but no one kicked us out until they cleaned the restaurant themselves, thus giving us a little more time. The price is quite adequate, a bottle of sparkling wine 5000, two hot and snacks went to 2500. Thanks to the restaurant team and Nazrin separately for the perfect evening!

I visited Novikov Cafe on Mammad Emin Rasulzade Street in Baku and would like to share my opinion.
The cozy interior of this establishment immediately catches the eye. Comfortable furniture and dimmed lights create a comfortable atmosphere. Separately, it is worth noting the summer terrace - it has become a wonderful place for outdoor recreation.
The service deserves a special mention. The waiters were always ready to help and quickly responded to our requests. The dishes were served on time, and their decoration was at the highest level.
The menu offers a wide range of dishes, including European and Azerbaijani delicacies. We tried several positions and were satisfied with the quality and taste of the food.
The only point worth considering is the cost. Prices at Novikov Cafe are slightly higher than the average in Baku, but this is justified by the high quality of the dishes offered and the level of service.
In general, I would recommend Novikov Cafe to anyone who is looking for a cozy place with excellent cuisine and attentive service! :)

A wonderful place! We visited 2 times - all the food is very tasty, the service is perfect, delicious pasta, meat, salads, desserts 🔥 we took a hookah on the terrace - also excellent. The check is above average for Baku, but you will be delighted. The level is not worse than Moscow , thank you 🙏

We ordered Novikov's breakfast, rice porridge and pancakes with latte at 11:25. As a result, after 15 minutes they brought rice porridge and that was it. We waited the rest for 40 minutes, breakfast was prepared for almost an hour... no one warned about the delay and no compliment. We won't be coming back here anymore

The service is TERRIBLE, but the food is delicious, and there are missing positions that the waiters don't know about! If you want to experience Novikov's restaurant at its worst, go here) here you can shoot videos for learning "how not to do it in the restaurant business." It's a pity, but all the staff is exhausted. There are no waiters attached to the table, full hoas. In 5 minutes, 3-4 waiters can come up with one question, for example, if some dishes are not available. We were at dinner and decided to give a second chance and came for breakfast on the morning of 04/27 at 10:00, but it was in vain) only 2 tables were occupied inside, the rest of the tables are empty. The hostess took us and sat us down on the aisle with the words "only here, everything else is booked," when asked to transfer, she repeated that everything was under armor. There was a draft, and there were no “reserved” cards on the tables. It was only after the second attempt that we were transplanted, and the face of the hostess girl was as if we had come not to the restaurant, but to visit her house without an invitation. When we left an hour later, all the tables were still empty. Of the entire Novikov restaurant chain, this is the worst version of the service, some kind of "restaurant". Very low level. The restaurant management, you have good chefs, but, apparently, it's worth hiring a good manager to train the staff in the accepted norms, coordinate the waiters competently, tell them about the stop list, teach the hostesses a friendly welcome for guests, and everything will be great for you. I wish you development!

Only in Baku can the quality of service in Novikov restaurants be spoiled . 😅 a large number of dishes were ordered for breakfast and the main ones - omelets and scrambled eggs were brought last , with a very high expectation . All the guests were sitting with sweet dishes and waiting for the long-awaited hot main breakfast dishes to be brought. I even had to fight . The croissants were amazing .

I can't keep quiet. In Baku, we could not find (believe me, we bypassed many restaurants) a national restaurant with amazing soft lamb and decided to go to Novikov Cafe (Novikov restaurants are always the highest level). I highly recommend visiting!!! You will be completely delighted with the interior, the atmosphere, the service (special thanks to our waiter, Orhan), and the dishes. Lamb cutlets, salad with suluguni cheese and pear - it's crazy 😋

We came to this place for breakfast in a good mood. The welcoming Hostess (Natick, if I remember correctly) He said that all the tables are in reserve, period, although visually more than half are free. I did not offer any options - neither to approach later, not to wait, in any way at all. A strange comrade. We travel a lot, I don't remember that. Before that, we were here 2 times - I liked the European menu, the interior, although chicken soup from cubes is a shame, of course! The mood is pretty spoiled. We won't knock on closed doors anymore!

A great place, with a wide menu, with well-trained according to the best Moscow/St. Petersburg practices as waiters. The price tag is above average by Baku standards. There are breakfasts, if you want a European breakfast, then this is one of the places where I would advise you to go for breakfast.
I recommend Novikov, it is a brand and a sign of quality.

I love Novikov's restaurants in Moscow, but we were disappointed in Baku.
Of the cons:
1-half of the tables were reserved, but in fact people did not come;
2-first they bring food, and then only after 10 minutes drinks, after reminders from our side;
3-does not catch wi-fi on the terrace
Of the advantages:
1- delicious food;
2- there is an alternative milk;
3- a varied breakfast menu.

Breakfast and absolutely not sweet)-salads, soups, steak-it was all very tasty. But everything spoils the service, or rather its absence. We booked a table in advance, we (two) were seated at a table for five -no one removed the extra dishes (as well as dirty ones later), when ordering, we were asked to serve all the dishes at the same time (since one person had soup and salad, and I had steak), stressed that we did not want one to eat, and the other one was sitting hungry.
The dishes were brought one at a time with an interval of 10 minutes. After the salad was brought, we asked to find out how long the steak would be, but no one came back to us with an answer. In general, somehow nobody really cared about us at all-you are a little surprised at this attitude in Baku, where in any restaurant you are welcomed as the dearest guest. It's a pity, but we won't go there anymore.
