It's a very strange layout... you walk around ... you need to call a taxi carefully, you might get lost... there is no free Wi-Fi ... there are no sockets for charging devices…
Honestly a big incomprehensible one. I have worked at the airport for 10 years, but having so much experience, I have not been able to find the right exit, the right corridor, the right floor in this train station.
For anyone, but for me personally, to wait for a transfer for 9 hours without leaving the station (except for smoking), easy! Laptop, power outlet, Internet from your phone, everything you need)
A huge and empty train station. It's cold and not cozy. While waiting for the train, the children have nowhere to play. It would not hurt to make playrooms for children, expand catering at reasonable prices. The station staff and security are always polite, will help and prompt.
This is one of the favorite train stations where I had to visit. An interesting architectural solution is complemented by the cleanliness of the station itself, the cleanliness of the toilets, friendly staff. A separate plus for a good grocery store with adequate prices. A good food court area, but here for an amateur.
Of the minuses, I can single out only one: for visitors it is difficult to find where the taxi called has stopped, usually the whole explanation takes place on "fingers". Perhaps this issue will be resolved over time, if it has not yet been decided.
A nice, modern train station. There is a place to eat and sit and wait. Clean, everything is comfortable. Taxis are always nearby, relatively inexpensive. A local SIM card can be purchased at the station.
The station building is huge, not thought out, there are a lot of empty rooms you can get lost! The hotel is not cozy. The good news is that the food is very good and the people are caring. You can ask any question. They will show you, bring you, explain. Thanks! to the staff!
A large modern railway station in Astana. 5 floors, parking for cars under the train station. Elevators, information stands and people, lots of space. Unfortunately, cafes and bars are not open around the clock here, as are shops. But you can buy something at vending machines at night. It is convenient to descend to the zero platform on escalators.
A modern railway station. It's a bit far from the city center, but the plus is that buses run here. There are many cafes, prices are higher than in ordinary cafes. The toilets are not always clean, the smell is appropriate. The hall is spacious, there are many places for those waiting for their train. The staff is polite, there are porters.
Everything is fine, everything is at hand, I get there without traffic jams, the location is convenient. There are no problems with parking either. There are different shops. The staff is polite. And most importantly, the toilet is free 😀
A very comfortable, spacious, modern train station. Convenient access to the ramp to the second level. You get right into the waiting room. Shops and cafes for every taste. The staff is polite and helpful.
For a three...dirty toilets, not tasty cafes...and finally make a smoking room on the premises...running outside, turning out your pockets every time, is stressful.
The station is good, I like it
If something is not clear, the guard will always tell you. There is a coffee shop area, you can have a snack, a pharmacy, toy stores, stationery, an area with chargers
The station, Nur Sultan, Astana is steep, the engineering structure itself is unusual, very large and cold, the station attendant makes announcements in three languages, Kazakh, Russian, English. But minus the trains inside are often late, the trains are mostly old, and most importantly, the transfer in Omsk to Astana, the Kazakh train was on coal, the railway part was not electrified to Astana, the train was stormy, like the sea, they looked at the rails at the turn, the horror of wooden sleepers! The Soviet Union! But the announcements at the railway station are in three languages. 😄RS. when buying train tickets to or from Astana with a transfer in Omsk or Petropavlovsk, buy tickets with a transfer interval of at least two hours! Kazakhs may be late! a coal-fired locomotive and wooden sleepers make themselves felt! Good luck!
The structure is interesting, especially in that you need to take an elevator to get to the platform. A modern building, I was there once in August 2023, and I think that navigation is too difficult for an object with such a purpose. I think that the station should be understandable and it was possible to move quickly, especially for groups of passengers. And we had to walk quite far with our luggage from the place of disembarkation from the taxi - we couldn't get any closer (that's what the driver said). The entrance is not marked - you go and look through the doors. There were employees inside who suggested where to go next. We found the right lobby, took the elevator to the waiting room. When boarding is announced, the staff again indicate where to go to the platform. I got the impression that such a layout is suitable for crime prevention - people are constantly being cut off in small groups in cubic-shaped rooms. But at the same time, it is unclear how quickly passengers can be evacuated from the waiting room in emergency situations? They were released onto the platform when the train was already standing. Since the tracks are raised above the ground, it is obviously dangerous to let passengers onto the platform before the train arrives. In general, there are conflicting feelings - the station is new, beautiful, modern, but it seems to have been overdone with the Path to the future
A very good train station, warm and beautiful. The staff is active and prompt to help passengers, there are many cafes and shops, necessary service salons, the toilet is free.
A large railway station, a lot of space for people. There are different boutiques with different products. The bus stop is nearby, taxis are standing.Only taxi drivers charge exorbitant prices, five thousand tenge is charged to the presidential hospital in 20 minutes, in general, lawlessness.I liked the train station.
It's beautiful, unusual. It is clean, there is always staff at the information desk and at the cash desk. The platforms are very uncomfortable. I left from the 1st way and from the 4th. Escalator, heavy doors, draught, little space. It is very inconvenient with a suitcase if you are alone. The platform should have been made high. To pass the folding staircase and immediately step into the carriage.
Cool architecture, clean and tidy. The atmosphere is like in an airport waiting room.I liked it, it's not a bad idea for a train station. There are escalators with a suitcase, you do not need to drag yourself up the stairs.
I like the railway station of Nurly Zhol. There is always a big place. Guys, girls are always polite, they will always tell you everything.
I am happy to leave and come back to Astana
A new modern train station. There is a 24-hour currency exchange point (less favorable conditions than in the city). Elevators, squadrons, a large waiting room. The platforms have rain shelters. Everything is thoughtful and convenient.
The station is very beautiful. We can say that this is a whole mini-city in the capital, where there is everything: a PSC, shops, a hotel, a notary, various cafes for every taste
The building of the new station is impressive, although a bit futuristic. The waiting room is large and spacious especially. There are many boutiques and shops especially, GAlmart was pleased, the location is very convenient in two places at once (left and right wing).Even if you went out on the platform and suddenly forgot to grab something there drinks, pastries, etc. you can immediately go up the escalator and immediately go to the store.(this is not a hidden advertisement))).However, the building is clean and cozy. There are many different shops, communication salons and fast food restaurants with affordable prices compared to the old train station. The disadvantages include that it is not easy to get into the waiting room for those who are at the station for the first time.Especially through the escalator with which you first go up and get outside, you enter another escalator and only then into the cherished waiting room. Many people do not know about the elevator near the parking lot and wander, and this sometimes takes time.If you don't know your way around, it's better to ask the station staff right away. The main thing is not to miss the train.thinking that the ticket is in your pocket.Have a nice trip!
A huge new train station, similar to an airport. There are a lot of staff who will help, an information desk on the 4th floor. Wi-Fi is available in the cafe on the 4th floor. The toilets are normal. The escalators did not work, the ascent was by elevator.
I liked it, everything is clear, there are storage rooms, there is a cafe where you can eat with children, there are grocery stores, everything is taken into account for visitors. A huge plus is this relaxation chair, the very thing before a long journey.
Greetings. Well, the station is big, there are directions where to go. You can ask if necessary . There are a lot of places to sit, but there are also a lot of people. It's beautiful, there is a bus and a taxi. Exit to 2 sides.
It is a very beautiful, spacious and comfortable train station. There is a shop and the stones are different. Very convenient. Massage chair. Everything is just great!!!!
I was very surprised by the new railway station in Astana. I left for the first time with him. At first it seemed that everything was too complicated, but no, everything is convenient enough. You go up on a spacious elevator to the 4th floor to the waiting room, when the boarding is announced, you go down on the escalator straight to the path where the train is standing. Bags do not have to be bored in general. The only drawback is that the station staff, who are directed to the escalator, need to be given microphones. In the general hum they are very hard to hear
