You can leave the station by buses and taxis, but it's better to call a taxi using applications, because the bombs charge as always. But for buses, you will most likely need to install an application or take a bus card. There is a namazkhana in the station building. There are also shops and a hotel. I forgot, there are toilets too))). And the food court is small. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices. We ate in a cafe Zhiguli or Zhiguli, I don't remember exactly))). And even this beer promotion: 1+1 ))). It was very tasty. Prices are like in a regular cafe. If you are in Astana for the first time, the polite staff of the station will tell you where to go. I would like to especially appreciate the work of the staff. By the time we reached the waiting room, four employees asked us which train we had and directed us to the right hall. It is very pleasant when you are in a foreign country in a huge train station and do not walk there from corner to corner in search of the right hall. And yet, when it was necessary to board, two employees separated passengers by car numbers. From the first cars in one direction, and from the last in the other. Thus, people went straight to their cars and they did not have to run along the platform to the other end of the train. In general, it would not hurt Russian colleagues to adopt this experience.

The most useless and incompetently designed building! It is not clear where. Huge, empty! It's not clear where the front is, where the back is. Parking lots are large but inconvenient, it's not clear which side you left the car on. With such a huge size, a small platform, a crowd. The conclusion is that they were built at the request of the left heel, but somehow they need to justify it, so they let some trains through this station. The situation would be saved if trains ran through both stations, the old and the new, everyone would be able to choose a boarding place.

The station was amazing in its scope. Huge, bright, clean. Friendly and considerate staff. In general, the Kazakhs seemed to us very peaceful and friendly. They willingly told us where and how to walk while waiting for the train (we had the whole day). The train station is so big that crowds of people get lost in it and it doesn't seem like there are many people. There are many seats in the waiting room. Elevators and an escalator to help with suitcases. And it looks majestic from the street.

Only the elderly and passengers with strollers should be allowed to use them. Let the others go to the escalators. There is not enough information on which side is which exit to the city, the alphanumeric designations we are moving does not mean anything. Write better, exit to the east, exit to the west, and so on.
