I am absolutely delighted with visiting the Paris Opera. Very beautiful architecture, albeit a little pompous. Beautifully painted ceilings in many halls. A chic central staircase with many sculptural compositions. At the entrance, you can take an audio guide in the desired language.
A gorgeous, mystical opera. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office. But it's not every day you go inside. It works from 10 am. It is interesting both from the outside and inside. It is mandatory to visit box number 5 is assigned to the phantom of the opera, but tickets are sold there not online, but at the box office.
The opera is just a delight, an audio guide in Russian. The interiors have recently been restored, they appear in all their glory! You can go into the auditorium, stand in the box. There was also an exhibition about Rudolf Nureyev at the bottom. We went to the theater without booking, almost without a queue. There is a souvenir shop where you can go from the street. I really enjoyed visiting the Opera Garnier.
One of the most beautiful theaters in Europe. Unfortunately, it did not happen to get to the production, but in the daytime for a few euros you can see the theater, interiors with or without an excursion. You can visit the boxes, the hall, the balcony. Gorgeous staircase! A majestic building, everything is beautiful, pompous, velvet, gold, in general, as it should be-luxurious! It's an opera! A palace, a real museum! Splendor both outside and inside!
Amazing building. I really want to go inside. There's all the beauty, luxury and splendor. Maybe someday we'll listen to an opera here or watch a ballet.
One of the most iconic sites in Paris! Be sure to buy an entrance to the building. The interior can compete with Versailles! It's impressive!

Excellent architecture, excellent location, famous location, starting point for many excursions around Paris and the suburbs and castles. Nearby are not the most expensive hotels, and due to the proximity of the pick-up point on the tour, there is an opportunity to get a better night's sleep, because you do not have to waste time on the way to this place.

Despite the fact that in every European city I try to get to the opera house for a performance, in Paris, during three visits to this city, I failed to get to the Opera Garnier. But the building is magnificent from the outside!
The validity of comparing architecture with frozen music is realized when looking at the building of the Parisian "New Opera" by Charles Garnier, which since 1875 has been striking with its grandeur and splendor, magnificent decor, an unexpected mix of architectural styles, and a bold eclecticism of decorative forms. How many of us know that the ceiling of the theater hall, illuminated by 340 lamps of an eight-ton chandelier made of bronze and crystal, was painted by Marc Chagall almost 60 years ago?! It is strange that in our guidebooks and tourist routes, an excursion to the Opera Garnier is not listed among the top attractions of Paris, which every guest of the French capital must visit without fail. I have never personally seen a more beautiful theater building with an interesting story (at the same time beautifully told and shown by a personal guide Inna). A rich library, luxurious halls and grand staircases, a magnificent auditorium, an exhibition of theatrical costumes, scenery, sketches, sculptures and a wonderful theater store... And as a compliment from the theater, I had a chance to see a rehearsal of a children's ballet troupe and hear a performance by a choir of girls with angelic voices.
It's a wonderful place. The standard of eclectic style in architecture. I've been here. In the early 2000s, there were such tours to Paris, where the price included a ticket to the Eiffel Tower and...for one performance at the Grand Opera. Sometimes something varied and added + a ticket for a pleasure boat on the Seine. Otherwise, it is quite difficult to get here or...more expensive) The grand staircase and lamps in the form of female figures are very beautiful and the dance foyer is impressive.

A luxurious palace for true architecture lovers!!! Inside the building there is a rich decoration, marble palette, stairways, busts of composers, candelabra, gilded chandeliers.
The repertoire is diverse. I got to see a modern production. Four women in black performed a feminist dance. It's not interesting.
Everything is in a classic style. But the ceiling... Painted by Marc Chagall. It's just a perversion!!! It had to be done elsewhere.
The Grand Opera is associated with the names of Diaghilev, Nijinsky, and Nureyev. And also with the French film "The Big Walk". Louis de Funes, who ran from the Germans in the theater...👍👍
I recommend you to visit! At least the second action can be spent on going around the entire building. Rating: 8 out of 10
A luxurious building that is clearly visible from Opera Avenue. The most optimal place for photographing, it seems to me, is located at the exit of the Opera metro. Be sure to go around and look at it from all sides. It's worth it. You can take a guided tour inside.
The theater has excellent acoustics, rich decoration of the theater, sitting in the theater box you feel great pleasure from dancing ballet, a very beautiful theater.

It is mandatory for guests of Paris to visit. Not only the architecture, but the inside of the building is very beautiful. A rich library of scores. Extremely interesting.

The architecture is amazing.
The repertoire is at the level of a theater school.
Mostly plastic compositions.
Sometimes not even to the orchestra, but to the soundtrack of Edith Piaf's song.
