After visiting several cafes and restaurants in New Athos, we finally stopped for a snack at the Panorama restaurant. He definitely stands out for the better against the background of all the others. The taste of the dishes, their presentation, the level of service – everything is at the highest level. Individual dishes are simply masterpieces (from what our family of two people managed to try): okroshka on kefir, Tom Yam soup, lamb kebab, tuna and orange salad, salad with crispy eggplant, focaccia. The rest of the dishes we tried (filet mignon steak, seafood risotto, Greek salad, warm beef salad, borscht, etc.) are also at a very high level. We came to dine at this restaurant almost every day and every time we got great pleasure from the quality of the dishes and from the service of the waiters. In addition to New Athos, we also visited restaurants in other towns: the Amshyn restaurant in Pitsunda, the Leon restaurant in Sukhum. But no.... We returned to Panarama with pleasure. So that the review does not seem to be ordered, I will also describe a couple of disappointments in this restaurant for two weeks of visiting it: the pork kebab we took turned out to be tough, and the rib eye steak was too salty; in addition, when ordering the rib eye steak, the waitress did not ask the degree of its roasting (I also missed this moment myself) and as a result they brought me a well done. The next attempt was corrected.
Despite a couple of the above missteps for a fairly long period of his visit, this is definitely the best restaurant in New Athos, and possibly in the whole of Abkhazia! I highly recommend you to visit.

The DJ is handsome! Enjoys his work))
There were others in the season.
There is a hookah on the beach in summer.
I always experience gustatory and aesthetic pleasure!

The restaurant is cozy, the waitresses are smiling, which is very rare in Abkhazia. The order was brought quickly enough, there were sooo delicious shrimp in Caesar with shrimp, and the rest of the ingredients are so-so, 1 cherry tomato cut in half, a small pinch of cheese and a drop of sauce, its price is around 800 rubles. The prices turned out to be unreasonably high for the entire menu.
But the surprise was something else when they smelled cigarettes in the room, looked around and saw that three neighboring tables were smoking. There are places on the street, they would probably be more suitable for smokers. But in the amazing Republic of Abkhazia, you will also see something else...

The food is delicious, we took trout and pasta with mussels. The cook is good, everything is cooked really well. The interior is also good, comfortable large seats, good view and decoration. That's where the advantages ended. The order was waited for 40-50 minutes. At the same time, the pasta was brought after 20-30 minutes, and the fish after the same amount, that is, one person should continue to wait, and the other should have dinner alone or wait until his dish cools down. The staff is not friendly at any time, maybe it happened this time. In the neighboring simpler establishments, the staff is much more friendly. There is no card payment, only a transfer. In an institution of this level (and judging by the prices, the level here should be high) there should be a card payment. Surprisingly, you can get local wine at a good price (700 per bottle).

Excellent restaurant by the sea, excellent service, definitely worth a tip. Very tasty seafood pizza, pasta and risotto, and if you're lucky, you can get to live music. if you want to have a delicious meal by the sea, then this is the best place in new Athos.

The service sucks, we wanted to book a table for the evening, went in the afternoon, and at the same time thought to drink coffee, no one came up to us at a table on the street, sat for 15 minutes, walked past us and pretended that we were not there. As a result, a lady was caught, and with a dissatisfied look we were informed of the booking conditions. By this point, we had already changed our mind about going there. Prices are high, the level of customer orientation is low.

We went to have a snack at lunch, the waitress girls are very friendly, ordered fruit tea, it's not just delicious, but very tasty. The leftovers that the child did not finish wrapped up with him. The cafe itself is clean, pleasantly located, the view from the windows is gorgeous.

In February 2024, the company celebrated its 10th anniversary. It was very disturbing! But! Everything was on a super level! We heard all our wishes, the amazing table combined both European and Caucasian dishes. The quality is excellent and the taste is excellent, and the presentation is excellent. Loyal conditions for alcohol and beverages. In general, we have never regretted that we chose the Panorama restaurant. I definitely recommend it, both for private visits and for banquet events. Everything will be on the level!

The interior is very beautiful. The table setting is very beautiful. Excellent staff. The waiting time is 15 minutes. Very tasty food!!! I especially liked the baked quail, lamb quail and salads - everything is very fresh and delicious. I dream of going there in the evening to sit on the outdoor veranda. There is a good playground nearby, the child was busy while waiting. Everything is fine.

The place is good, but the fat for borscht is straight yellow, it would be better not to cut it. The toilet is a quest, the washbasin is shared, not my girlfriend had a monthly embarrassment, she had to put herself in order at the washbasin, and I waited in the stall when she finished her business. Convert it to a separate bathroom. Parking was fast-paced-on the side of a busy highway.

The only decent place in the whole Athos. Great kitchen, beautiful dishes that are nice to hold in your hands. Good service. And even in the wine list there are positions of non-native wine, which is just a breath of fresh air in this country of fermented compotes.
And perhaps the only place where pleasant music is playing, and not the playlist of the crazy empress.

Impressions of the restaurant were spoiled by the attitude of the waiters. As if there are no general rules, but they are turned on depending on the mood level of the waiter. Choking on the smoke, they asked the waiter why they smoke in the hall, he replied that it was possible. The next day, after asking another person if it was possible to smoke, they answered no. And the same reaction in other things.

We visited this "restaurant" with children. It looks very nice, clean and pleasant! We made an order and then it started: all the dishes were brought at different times, the pasta turned out to be with hair-how is that? If you are called a restaurant, then you need to bring dishes to all the guests at the same time, and not like you, 2 guests ate and brought others 20 minutes later-you should know this, if you made a mistake, then in restaurants that appreciate guests, they usually bring dessert for the loyalty of the guest, but you don't. There was a feeling that the guests were not appreciated - no one would come to you with such an attitude. In real restaurants, the waiter suggests and advises the guest what to choose in the food, but here it's the other way around. Definitely not a restaurant!!!! I do not recommend visiting …

From Gagra to Sukhum in the top three. The food is delicious, the service is on the level. The risotto left me satisfied, the shrimps on the grill shine. Scrambled eggs with vegetables are great. I flew in with focaccia and deep-fried potatoes (burned and overexposed), there was no fresh orange for breakfast (2 out of 6 are available). It is better to come to breakfast at 10:30, they do not have time to wake up. Anyway, breakfast is a quick meal, not an hour of gatherings. Food 5* staff 4*. Lunch for two is 5000rubles, breakfast is 2000rubles.

Even the cutlery is well thought out. I noticed the restaurant while driving from Sukhum to N.Athos. A beautiful, memorable building. The interior matched. Impressive. The waitress is polite. Everything is delicious, I liked everything.
I remember a funny episode. They were smoking at the next table. My wife asked the waitress, they say, do you smoke or not? She replied - actually, no, but you can't explain it to the locals.)))

The best restaurant in Abkhazia, insanely delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. There are places in Abkhazia with space prices and a discrepancy between the quality of service and the price.Here you will be served for everything. I do not understand where the negative reviews come from! My family and I are always satisfied! I recommend everyone to visit the Panorama!

We were in the restaurant on 07/17/2023.
Positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
Delicious dishes, normal portions. The menu has changed since 2022, the rolls have been removed, in my opinion it's not scary. I recommend pasta with seafood, pizza, seafood salad, mussels. Everything is delicious, really.
Pleasant foreign music, classics, etc. (without Abkhazian motifs)
Very tasty cocktails I recommend to try Tiffany!!
Clean toilet, tables, appliances.
Of the minuses (although in fact there are none), the dish was brought a little in the wrong order, but the waiter immediately asked for forgiveness.

A pleasant restaurant with delicious cuisine and original serving. There are tables inside and outside with sea views. There is a bar on the beach. You need to add more meat, poultry, and fish to the menu. There wasn't always mutton. Opening hours are from 10:00, but we are really ready to serve visitors only from 11 :)
