A wonderful multi-level park in the city center. A fountain, ponds, swans,
tame squirrels, a beautiful embankment, all this creates a festive atmosphere against the backdrop of a beautiful palace.
It is mandatory for tourists to visit .
Many thanks to the staff of the palace for their attentive attitude to the things of visitors.: a favorite lipstick accidentally fell out of the bag, it was discovered three hours after the loss, because before leaving Gomel, the route went through the palace park, I looked there "just in case" and received my "charm", the lipstick was quietly waiting for demand from the administrator.
The park of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble is a truly magical place, one of the most beautiful in Belarus. The atmosphere of fabulousness and harmony reigns here.
In this park you can see many unique sights, such as the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace, the Winter Garden, the Swan Pond and many ancient buildings. There are also a huge number of flowers and trees of various species growing here, as well as tame squirrels.
I always bring all my friends who come to visit me here. They are always delighted with this amazing place. I want to come back here again and again to enjoy an unforgettable vacation in this beautiful corner of nature.
I visited the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble Park and was very pleased. The Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace is simply gorgeous – it looks majestic from the outside, but everything inside is beautiful and atmospheric. It's a pleasure to walk along the embankment – a quiet place with beautiful views of the river. Everything is well maintained, clean, lots of greenery, benches and places to relax. A great place to spend time in nature and touch a little history. I recommend it to everyone who will be in Gomel!
It's a great place. Excellent attractions, the observation tower offers a wonderful view of the Sozh river and the city itself, the winter garden. There are pet squirrels in the park that can be hand-fed, and a beautiful swan pond. A beautiful embankment, on which there is a sculpture of a boatman, a pedestrian bridge over the river Sozh. The Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace, the ancestral tomb, Peter and Paul Cathedral, the branch of the Vetkovsky Museum of Old Believers and all this in one place. I recommend
One of the most wonderful places on earth where you can enjoy beauty, silence, and unity with nature. Where history is very tactfully mixed with modernity, where a paradise for squirrels. Where there is an opportunity to plunge into the past or just recharge by walking along the paths, watching the swans, listening to the "booom" of the clock. There are many zones for different purposes, there are cafes, attractions, a "train" with a route along the embankment. We feel good and peaceful in the park, we definitely come 3-4 times a year, this is a place of strength for our family. I highly recommend you to visit.
Our Gomel Park is one of the most beautiful . In my childhood, of course, there were many more trees and fewer places for entertainment. So the territory in the area of the "devil's wheel" is all reserved for attractions. There are too many of them. The prices are very high. You can't go there with two kids. Everything is put on a commercial path. The embankment is beautiful. But, there are also more and more cafes, restaurants, and so on. After all, people don't have enough clean air and silence. With infants, they come to relax for the sake of silence and air. This question is relevant. But no matter what, I am proud of our park and its history.
My favorite place in all of Belarus!
The park is big. It is suitable just for leisurely walks, and (or) relaxing with family and children.
At one end there is an amusement park, an observation tower and a winter garden, at the other there is a magnificent palace, a temple and a bridge on the other side of the river with sandy beaches.
There is a well-equipped embankment along the entire park. You can take a boat ride.
In general, the place is amazing, I advise everyone to visit it!)
Excellent park in excellent condition. Lots of alleys, benches. Say hello to the Lantern near the winter garden. Climb the observation tower, a former water tower. There is an amusement park, where children can be entertained. There are several nice, cozy restaurants in the park. I would especially mention Provence and Restoria. One day is not enough to fully enjoy the park. Walking here is a pleasure.
It's a very beautiful park, clean, the wipers are constantly being swept. There are children's trampolines. A multi-level park, many paths, bridges, the Rumyantsev palace. Access to the embankment, there is a beautiful pond with swans. There are a lot of almost tame squirrels. They expect food from people and are happy to accept it) There is a large Orthodox cathedral on the outskirts of the park. I really liked the park)
One of the most beautiful places in our country. We had a great walk around the park complex. A lot of squirrels, oddly enough, they are very sociable and well-groomed. Stock up on peanuts. Be sure to visit the Rumentsev-Poskevich Palace and get acquainted with the history. The winter garden is very much for an amateur. I don't see any point in going there, but you definitely have to climb the tower. But keep in mind that you have to go to the top of 204 steps. The view from the height is beautiful
A great place to relax. Parking nearby. The view of the river from the height is amazing, the beautiful landscaped embankment. There is something to see. Despite the winter period, there was a disco for ... outdoors, the people were having a lot of fun, there were two hundred people, and children, and of respectable age.
The park is magnificent. It is a business card of Gomel. It is pleasant for both children and adults to walk. The park has a variety of plants, flower beds, an unusual landscape, a wonderful palace and park complex, an amusement park and many establishments, as well as a beautiful embankment. I am waiting for visitors with gorgeous views and a lot of pleasant impressions
Beautiful, well-maintained view of the park. It's clean, beautiful, and people walk around smiling and friendly. You can have a good rest both alone with yourself, as well as with family and friends - all the conditions are created for this. The only drawback is the price of ice cream, which is not at all 28 kopecks, stated on the package, but it is excusable.
We visited Gomel on the last weekend of October. We walked around the park and the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace. The park is large and beautiful. The weather was pleasant with warmth, sunshine and golden maple leaves. The palace and the park have a great location - on the high bank of the Sozh River. It looks gorgeous and instagrammed)! The park is awesome, well-groomed, and the height differences do their job! A beautiful pond with swans and ducks.
We went up to the Ferris tower. I had to stand in line - no more than 5-6 people are running at the same time. But it was definitely worth it! The view of the park, the city and the river is fascinating!
The winter garden is quite small, but neat. The cashier at the winter garden advised which ticket is better to buy for a family of 3 people. We bought a single ticket, which gives you the opportunity to visit the palace, the tower, and the winter garden. And if you didn't have time to look at something, then it is valid until the end of the year.
And the palace is so beautiful! There are not even enough words to convey our admiration!
Peter and Paul Cathedral is also located on the territory of the park next to the palace.
The most wonderful place in Gomel, to stay in Gomel and not see the park means not to stay in Gomel! Be sure to visit the coolest exhibition in the Paskevich Palace, with a magnificent collection (books, magazines, household utensils, sabres and muskets, and much more), everyone will find something interesting there! And other attractions of the park area!
A magnificent, well-maintained park, lots of benches and walking paths on different levels. There is a small pond with bird houses. Almost tame squirrels take their food by hand. Beautiful view of the Sozh River. There is a wonderful museum exhibit in the deputy palace.
I really liked the park. It seemed endless to me. It has everything: A palace; a temple; magnificent bridges and monuments; a stunning river; a beach; beautiful and well-groomed trees and flower beds; ducks and swans; an amusement park. I was thrilled.
It's a pretty nice place - we were at the NG holidays. A lot of light compositions are beautiful. The park itself is very clean and well maintained. Beautiful view of the Mozh River. Be sure to go up to the observation deck, the lighthouse has a view of the whole city.
We are coming to Gomel for the third time. I liked the park right away. Very cozy, clean, with a stunning landscape. Since we lived near the park, we went for a walk every day. There is a square and a Christmas tree nearby, concerts every day and a huge number of people. It's a lot of fun, emotional and comfortable.
It's a great park. Lots of squirrels, it's just great with kids (and not with kids either). A beautiful embankment, the palace and park ensemble looks great, a pond with swans (white and black), a fountain, beautiful monuments. Great place!!
A super park, lots of shops, interesting places: a palace, a church, monuments, attractions, a park forest, a river, a lake with swans. Bubbling fountains. There are many cafes and food stalls. Generally a top place for cultural recreation.
It's an amazing place, every time I visit Gomel, I always come to the Park. A very beautiful natural park, a magnificent landscape, a beautiful embankment, the opportunity to ride a riverboat along the Sozh, a palace in excellent condition, a wonderful Temple. I had a wonderful time.
It is a very impressive park, both in scale and facilities. Good viewing platforms with excellent views. Neat and clean paths, with height differences. Lots of beautiful flower beds, benches and structures. Definitely want to come back
Gomel Park has always been a great place for walking: neat, well-groomed, tame squirrels... And after the renovation of the embankment, it has become even better, now glowing figures are installed there, and walking along the Sozh in the evening is a pleasure.
The best park you can visit in the former Soviet Union.
Very, very, very clean. Squirrels , swans , both white and black . fountains, the palace, go to the Ferris tower, ride the rides, take a walk along the embankment.
A very beautiful park. With trees and shrubs collected from all over the world. There are trees that are more than 160 years old. Beautiful alleys and paths with height differences. The best place to hide in the city from the heat. There are fountains with water. On the second side of the park, separated by a pedestrian bridge, there is an amusement park. Lots of fun for kids. Cafes and kiosks with goodies. There is also a park on the other side of the river, wilder but with a city beach and cafes. If you go down to the embankment along the Kiev descent, you will come to the port. Where you can take a boat ride on the river.
A great park, we were with the children for the first time, but it was far from the last. The park impresses with its beauty, cleanliness, low prices and high quality service! Starting from the cleanliness in the toilet and ending with the quality and portions in the cafe, everything is at the highest level! Attractions for every taste and age with adequate prices. It is best to visit on a day off in the morning, since after 15:00 it is very crowded and you can queue for tickets for a long time, you can pay through some kind of application, but the trouble with the Internet is on the Russian number (very expensive 400 rubles a day). We arrived at 10:00 a.m. No one was on the rides at all. The prices for ice cream, coffee, hot dog, etc. are acceptable, on the embankment in the Kievsky descent area it is even a little cheaper. In general, you will not regret coming to the park. Squirrels in the park are a separate attraction. Children liked even more attractions. They eat with their hands, bring hazelnuts with you and get a lot of positive emotions!
A large park, everything is blooming, fountains are working. A wide embankment. There is a pier from where river trams depart. It's clean enough. Squirrels and ducks walk, they are not afraid of people. A minus star for the fact that grass is not planted everywhere on lawns (bald patches of dust spoil the view).
The experience is wonderful, a walk through the spring park - chestnut trees and lilacs are in bloom, along the embankment of the Sozh River - it's just great. I recommend visiting the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace Museum and other attractions of the park area.
A beautiful, ancient, incredibly beautiful park with a view of the embankment, the cathedral and the palace. A huge well-groomed territory, surrounded by flowers in summer. Tame squirrels are everywhere) The park is good at any time of the year!
Be sure to take a tour (book at the palace)! Park guides as a separate art form) Both children and adults learned so many interesting things and listened with great interest.
The Palace and Park ensemble is a real gem of Gomel)
The impression is wonderful, a magnificent park, very well maintained, benches, a drinking fountain, two public toilets, all paths are swept, very clean, manicured lawns, beautiful views of the shore, spots with water and ice cream, there is a restaurant
It's beautiful, spacious, surrounded by squirrels. Winter garden, observation tower, friendly lantern. There are a lot of paths, and probably a lot of flowers in summer (we were in winter) and fountains. In general, a pleasant place for walking, you can walk many times and have fun.
What a beauty there is in our Gomel Park! It's a pleasure to walk there. In addition to the wonderful nature, it is fashionable to visit the museum, the observation tower, and the winter garden. There are many interesting attractions for extreme athletes. A great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle and put your thoughts in order
I've loved this park since I was a kid. Beautiful! A pond with swans is a delight!
Attractions!
This year, for the first time, I went on an excursion to the Rumyantsev - Paskevich estate. I recommend it!
And on weekends you can also attend outdoor dancing. It's a great idea! Not only the elderly come, but also families with children and young people.
And I recommend a walk along the beautiful embankment of the Sozh river. I'm sure you'll like it!
It's a wonderful place. It's very beautiful, lots of plants. Purity and splendor, especially conquer the centuries-old trees and..squirrels that jump from tree to tree and can feast on treats from your hands, if, of course, you take it with you.
A great place to walk!!!!
I definitely recommend visiting the observation tower, especially on a clear day. Beautiful view!!!
The Christmas tree dances perfectly blended into the New Year's atmosphere!!! 🌲🌲🌲
Very beautiful, festive, elegant!!!
The best park in Europe!!! I love to walk through the alleys of this park, it is beautiful and very attractive, I recommend all guests of Gomel to visit our park, only positive impressions and memories!!!
The best place to relax in the city. A magnificent, well-maintained park with a huge number of flower gardens. The beautiful embankment is 2.5 km long. A good amusement park for any age.
A great place for walks and landscape photos. It reminded me of Peterhof, but with one fountain. The palace has been restored. You only need to go inside with a guide, as there is more history than the exposition itself, which was plundered during the occupation by the Germans.
I love nature and convenience. On a hot day, it is very comfortable to walk along the paths in the shade of trees along the river, admire the flower beds and buildings. Well, I also like to meet squirrels, (my personal good omen)
If you come to Gomel, then be sure to visit this wonderful park, a variety of attractions, and a disco for every taste. The embankment simply fascinates you, the atmosphere of the holiday reigns everywhere.
A great place to relax with the whole family! The place is well maintained, clean, lots of squirrels, beautiful swans in the pond. We visit with our family almost every weekend to take a walk and relax in such beauty.
A magnificent park, with beautiful nature, squirrels and birdsong, even in winter! A wonderful embankment, with beautiful views and clean air of freedom, just like in the whole of Belarus!
The Gomel Park is a great place to relax with the whole family, there are attractions for children of different ages. You can visit the Paskevich Palace, there is a church in the park. There are a lot of squirrels in the park, which can be fed with nuts, and you can also take a boat trip along the river. The park has a sale of ice cream, various drinks, and you can also have a snack.
It's an amazing place , I really liked the differences in mountainous terrain , there are bridges and you walk along them and see a beautiful river below - it takes your breath away from this view , they have improved the embankment , there are cafes -we sat at the very beginning of the park - a very beautiful view opens from the terrace to the water. There is a tower in the park itself - if you climb it, you can enjoy a stunning view of the whole city, the ticket is very cheap. Squirrels walk around the park everywhere - they tried to feed them, but it did not spoil the impression of a ribbon with them - and here and there they ran with beautiful tails, in the park you can just sit on benches and enjoy the mighty trees, by the way you can ride a steamer - on certain days right from the center of the embankment. ( it definitely goes on weekends ) , we took a ride on the children 's steam train - very nice - we saw another part of the embankment from the hospital side - we wouldn 't have walked that far ourselves ) of course, there are historical churches and a tomb and a palace - and of course we visited them too - everything is very beautifully maintained and inspected. In general, we spent two days at the park!) in the castle itself, you can buy a shared ticket to enter both the winter garden and the tower - it will be cheaper this way.
A great place to walk with the whole family. It contains everything: Museums and attractions, an amusement park, an embankment, ponds with swans and ducks, fountains, and of course independent wildlife - a whole army of squirrels. I would say that squirrels are the feature of this park.
Of the cons: there is nowhere to buy food for these little barbarians.
A wonderful place to relax with the whole family. A walk through the park will allow you to find out which trees and shrubs grow here (there are information signs). The palace itself has many exhibition halls where there is something to see.
A beautiful park, a wonderful beautiful palace, only positive emotions and impressions, in such a province to build a house that was the center of life and the soul of the city! And what kind of people owned it, the greatest minds of the 17th and 18th centuries! It's not for nothing that the image of the palace on the 20-ruble bill is depicted, it's one of the pearls of Belarus!
