We visited Gomel on the last weekend of October. We walked around the park and the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace. The park is large and beautiful. The weather was pleasant with warmth, sunshine and golden maple leaves. The palace and the park have a great location - on the high bank of the Sozh River. It looks gorgeous and instagrammed)! The park is awesome, well-groomed, and the height differences do their job! A beautiful pond with swans and ducks.
We went up to the Ferris tower. I had to stand in line - no more than 5-6 people are running at the same time. But it was definitely worth it! The view of the park, the city and the river is fascinating!
The winter garden is quite small, but neat. The cashier at the winter garden advised which ticket is better to buy for a family of 3 people. We bought a single ticket, which gives you the opportunity to visit the palace, the tower, and the winter garden. And if you didn't have time to look at something, then it is valid until the end of the year.
And the palace is so beautiful! There are not even enough words to convey our admiration!
Peter and Paul Cathedral is also located on the territory of the park next to the palace.
A very beautiful park. With trees and shrubs collected from all over the world. There are trees that are more than 160 years old. Beautiful alleys and paths with height differences. The best place to hide in the city from the heat. There are fountains with water. On the second side of the park, separated by a pedestrian bridge, there is an amusement park. Lots of fun for kids. Cafes and kiosks with goodies. There is also a park on the other side of the river, wilder but with a city beach and cafes. If you go down to the embankment along the Kiev descent, you will come to the port. Where you can take a boat ride on the river.
A great park, we were with the children for the first time, but it was far from the last. The park impresses with its beauty, cleanliness, low prices and high quality service! Starting from the cleanliness in the toilet and ending with the quality and portions in the cafe, everything is at the highest level! Attractions for every taste and age with adequate prices. It is best to visit on a day off in the morning, since after 15:00 it is very crowded and you can queue for tickets for a long time, you can pay through some kind of application, but the trouble with the Internet is on the Russian number (very expensive 400 rubles a day). We arrived at 10:00 a.m. No one was on the rides at all. The prices for ice cream, coffee, hot dog, etc. are acceptable, on the embankment in the Kievsky descent area it is even a little cheaper. In general, you will not regret coming to the park. Squirrels in the park are a separate attraction. Children liked even more attractions. They eat with their hands, bring hazelnuts with you and get a lot of positive emotions!
When visiting Gomel, be sure to walk through the park.A huge green area, with various types of perennial trees. There are also rare specimens. The highlight of the park is the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace, where you can plunge into the history of Gomel with pleasure (there is a souvenir shop there). Go to the sugar factory tower, which has been converted into an observation deck, it offers a view of the whole city from a height. The branch of the Vetkovsky Museum of Old Believers and the botanical garden will also add to your impressions.Carousels and cafes on the Sozh embankment.Well, you are guaranteed a wonderful day!
The Gomel Park is a great place to relax with the whole family, there are attractions for children of different ages. You can visit the Paskevich Palace, there is a church in the park. There are a lot of squirrels in the park, which can be fed with nuts, and you can also take a boat trip along the river. The park has a sale of ice cream, various drinks, and you can also have a snack.
It's an amazing place , I really liked the differences in mountainous terrain , there are bridges and you walk along them and see a beautiful river below - it takes your breath away from this view , they have improved the embankment , there are cafes -we sat at the very beginning of the park - a very beautiful view opens from the terrace to the water. There is a tower in the park itself - if you climb it, you can enjoy a stunning view of the whole city, the ticket is very cheap. Squirrels walk around the park everywhere - they tried to feed them, but it did not spoil the impression of a ribbon with them - and here and there they ran with beautiful tails, in the park you can just sit on benches and enjoy the mighty trees, by the way you can ride a steamer - on certain days right from the center of the embankment. ( it definitely goes on weekends ) , we took a ride on the children 's steam train - very nice - we saw another part of the embankment from the hospital side - we wouldn 't have walked that far ourselves ) of course, there are historical churches and a tomb and a palace - and of course we visited them too - everything is very beautifully maintained and inspected. In general, we spent two days at the park!) in the castle itself, you can buy a shared ticket to enter both the winter garden and the tower - it will be cheaper this way.
The best park in the Republic of Belarus! Always clean, the most well-maintained park! Lots of squirrels) excursions to the palace, permanent exhibitions, there is a night of museums! Attractions for the youngest and for adults, a wide variety. Nice price tag. There is a "pay" payment, which speeds up the process and does not cause inconvenience! There are many food outlets for every taste! Beautiful view for walking, lots of paths, cleanliness!
And it's not bad enough, beautifully done , clean , everything is right pleasing to the eye , parking, if not huge, is large (free, and there are car chargers) on the territory, you can eat not bad and have fun for children at prices in RB , I have nothing to compare with against the background of the miracle of the island of kopecks , well , in principle, the attractions there are reblt and the land with these , but children like (there is no alternative) in the park you can walk for a long time , a lot of places to sit relax , urns , toilet only in the amusement complex There are places to eat there .
A beautiful, ancient, incredibly beautiful park with a view of the embankment, the cathedral and the palace. A huge well-groomed territory, surrounded by flowers in summer. Tame squirrels are everywhere) The park is good at any time of the year!
Be sure to take a tour (book at the palace)! Park guides as a separate art form) Both children and adults learned so many interesting things and listened with great interest.
The Palace and Park ensemble is a real gem of Gomel)
The best in the country! The soul is resting here. For every taste and age. You need to visit the park, words cannot convey everything. It's huge. There are many different types of plants. Many were brought from abroad several centuries ago. Attractions, cafes, a motor ship, a winter garden... The Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace deserves special attention. An interesting story. Peter and Paul Cathedral is for people with an open heart and soul. A lot of musicians, exhibitions. Swans. You come here every time with extraordinary emotions. This place can't get boring.
I've loved this park since I was a kid. Beautiful! A pond with swans is a delight!
Attractions!
This year, for the first time, I went on an excursion to the Rumyantsev - Paskevich estate. I recommend it!
And on weekends you can also attend outdoor dancing. It's a great idea! Not only the elderly come, but also families with children and young people.
And I recommend a walk along the beautiful embankment of the Sozh river. I'm sure you'll like it!
It is always cozy, cozy, clean, beautiful!!! Squirrels delight, fountains delight. Well-groomed in everything! The limitations are clear, understandable and pleasing. There is no need to be afraid and look around in thoughts of mobile vehicles. Everything you need is for sale. There are many shops. The marina and the boat can be upgraded, but it doesn't bother. Thank you for maintaining order and cleanliness!!! Prosper and rejoice!!!
Everything is just great! The garden and park architecture, the Palace ensemble, the embankment, the temple complex, the variety of vegetation and squirrels scurrying around walking, all kinds of birds, cleanliness, comfort and order are at a high level. + A small seutor and retail outlets, complementing the already colorful and saturated picture.
A great place to relax, meet and spend time!
Mosquitoes near the river in the evening (achtung!)
The pearl of Gomel! The most beautiful place in the city. You can walk along the beautiful promenade, you can ride rides, you can sunbathe on the beach or visit museums and the Paskevich Palace. There are bars, cafes and a restaurant. This is the most glamorous toilet in the city. There is a pleasure boat. The lake with beautiful swans is a special sight.
A great place to walk with the whole family. It contains everything: Museums and attractions, an amusement park, an embankment, ponds with swans and ducks, fountains, and of course independent wildlife - a whole army of squirrels. I would say that squirrels are the feature of this park.
Of the cons: there is nowhere to buy food for these little barbarians.
Clean, beautiful, lots of greenery, fountains, attractions. I will really like it with children. There is always fresh air in the forest and it is not so hot.
The prices for the rides are not small, it is expensive for the family. There are several outlets with food, ice cream, waffles, you can eat for every taste.
There are a lot of squirrels, they are very friendly, they like to be treated with nuts.
Beautiful, well-groomed, clean except for some paths stained with birds, a lot of squirrels, a lot of attractions for children, the only thing that saddens this abundance is divided by 2 different companies, and it will not work to buy one subscription for all attractions, you will have to stand in line and buy the 2nd. It's inconvenient. Beautiful view from the embankment to Sozh, and from the observation tower, as well as from the bridge to Swan lake, the only sadness is the smell of rotten lake water.
A great place to relax. A beautiful park area turning into the embankment of the Sozh River. A sea of flowers, exclusive trees. Squirrels, swans, ducks will delight children on the way to the attractions. The Rumyantsev Palace with many museum exhibits, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the tomb - these sights do not bother even with repeated visits. There is also an observation tower and a winter garden. It's impossible to list everything) I love this place!
A very beautiful, well-maintained park. Here is the Palace of the Rumyantsevs and Paskevich, the Winter Garden, the Observation Tower, the Museum of Old Believers, Peter and Paul Cathedral, the chapel-tomb of the Paskevich. And you can also take a leisurely walk, have a beautiful view of the Sozh, feed the squirrels with nuts, and look at the handsome black swan in the pond. We went in early November - the foliage is golden, there are few people, we had a great weekend.
I really like this park, well-maintained, large territory. When we come to Gomel, we go to this place all the time, it is also interesting for the child, you can feed the squirrels, ride on the rides. There are not enough walks on a riverboat in hot weather, the asphalt on the bridge needs to be replaced, it would also be possible to rent scooters, water catamarans, children's cars
The place is amazing in its beauty. It's very clean, the park itself is very spacious - it's the best place for jogging. Squirrels are quite common - so take nuts with you, they will come running instantly. Excellent wide embankment. I recommend visiting the 40-meter observation tower - the view from there is unreal, plus calories can be burned :)
The most beautiful place! A very large and comfortable park. In addition to the Rumyantsev-Paskevich palace complex, there is a beautiful Orthodox functioning church with a chapel on the territory. The park is full of almost tame squirrels - do not forget to take seeds with you and treat the animals. Also, black and white swans and ducks are waiting for you in the artificial channel. Bring them some bread too). Bridges, paths, benches - everything to enjoy the park. And, of course, there is an amusement park for children. You can get a profitable subscription for the whole day on the rides. Be sure to go down to the embankment of the Sozh River! Very beautiful! Well, for those who do not have enough, they can get to the opposite bank of the river via a pedestrian bridge.
The only attraction of the city of Gomel! But this facility will soon cease to be a pleasant place to walk. People stopped appreciating such things. Sorry. But it also makes sense to walk in the park. For a modern person, modern views are enough. But be careful, because of the steep landscape, young people have fallen in love with the park area and riding at high speed. Keep the children with you, do not let them go far. Look around, because a bike or roller skates rushing down a mountain at high speed will not stop instantly.
Do not forget to treat swans and squirrels with sweets.
A place where everyone should visit) Were only in the summer, and everything was generally liked, there are attractions and a museum with an electronic guide, a park with squirrels, a boat trip, of course there are flaws, somewhere the benches are broken, somewhere they do not have time to clean up
You can pay with a mir card without problems, but for some, for example, the labyrinth, you needed cash
Our park is truly one of the most beautiful in all of Belarus, a wonderful place to relax for the whole family, especially for children, interesting attractions, special thanks to the driver of the road train-such a pleasant tour of our gorgeous embankment-we got a lot of impressions!)
A wonderful well-maintained park, a wonderful museum, any capital can be proud of such a museum.
Every year we go to Gomel and spend one day relaxing in the park, museum, visit the temple , walk along the embankment, drink some water at the spring. I recommend that all guests of Gomel visit this main pride of the city and the whole republic.
A very beautiful park, modern attractions, we were delighted. The area is very clean, there are places where you can relax. A large and beautiful embankment. On the territory of the park, there is a delightful Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace, we recommend you to visit!
A great place for walking with children and adults, a clean well-groomed park, many trees, benches where you can sit and relax, good attractions for children, a lot of carousels, cafes and ice cream. we visited the winter garden is not big but cozy, the prices are affordable. I have a good impression, I recommend it
A picturesque corner where you can relax your soul, spend time with your loved ones. The part of the park where the attractions are located has disadvantages: the price for visiting the toilet in 2024 is 1 ruble, for what??? A bus ticket is cheaper.
Do not eat at the veranda cafe, the price does not match the quality. It's not tasty at all. The interior leaves much to be desired.
I liked everything else in the park, beautiful plants, attractions, the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace, the embankment is pleasant and clean. The flower beds are well maintained, the trees are trimmed, you can meet squirrels
A wonderful park. Well maintained, beautiful trees. There is a very beautiful palace on the territory, a large amusement park, and a network of cafes and restaurants. Very beautiful embankment, Sozh river.
It's nice to walk through the shady alleys in the park, you can feed almost tame squirrels, ducks and swans.
A good location, lots of spectacular views, there are many objects to photograph. Beautiful, clean, decent. A nice manor house, an embankment, an amusement park as well as the main park where you can walk both day and night. The people are friendly and friendly.
I really liked the park! A great place to relax with both children (optional)It is suitable for people of any age.Clean, cozy, fresh air, swans swim, squirrels can generally be fed with your hands, a wonderful view of the Sozh River...Historical sites, a wonderful church, etc. very beautiful)))
A wonderful place! This is our first time in Belarus and we were pleasantly surprised by this small cozy city. And what a magnificent Park, well-groomed, clean and tidy. You can take a walk along the embankment. You can ride on the rides, the prices are adequate, there is an "unlimited" at a very reasonable price👍
A very beautiful, large, well-maintained park. There are fountains on the territory, a beautiful embankment with tiles lined with ornaments of traditional Belarusian patterns. The air is amazing! Beautiful view of the Sozh River. There is an opportunity to climb the observation tower. I recommend taking a walk there and enjoying these wonderful landscapes yourself)
It's just beautiful, everything is clean and well maintained. Squirrels, almost tame, I run))). A beautiful promenade. On the opposite shore there is a beach, sand, the water in the river is peat but quite clean, we even swam. The only mine, there is only 1 toilet on the embankment and it is open from Friday to Sunday;)
A place of worship for Gomel:)
In general, a pleasant park with a fountain, a pond, an embankment along the Sozh River and, of course, the Rumyantsev -Paskevich Palace (there is a museum exposition in it).
For fans of wildlife in the pond there are black and white swans, as well as ducks.
And in the park itself, you can hand-feed squirrels.
Children are happy :)
Great! A perfectly maintained shady park, a beautiful palace, a very interesting museum and an observation tower from where you can see the whole city. There are no problems with soft drinks and ice cream either. In short, half a day of cognitive and aesthetic enjoyment.
A very nice park, a pleasant place to walk. You can feed the squirrels. Artists sing on weekends. You can take a walk with the children, sit on a bench and read a book. To feed the ducks. We went on an excursion to the palace, visited the greenhouse, and had a pleasant experience of walking on the ship.
A wonderfully beautiful place! The park is well maintained, it feels like it is loved, groomed and cherished. I walked through the park in cloudy weather, but still, it glows. A lot of work!
All architectural objects are in excellent condition, the eye rejoices, the soul sings. Swan Pond is a miracle how good it is. The observation tower is scary (I'm afraid of the height), but the views are very beautiful. The winter garden is small and pretty. The puzzle bench is a cool idea, I was impressed.
You definitely need to come and take a walk.
Thanks to the staff for such a huge work, good luck and prosperity!
A very beautiful, large and simply wonderful park! In this area, there are a lot of squirrels that can be hand-fed. Attractions, a winter garden, a museum and other attractions that are worth seeing. I advise you to definitely visit!!! 👍👍👍
One of the best parks visited. Clean, beautiful, there is something to see. At night, everything is illuminated, not aggressively bright, but with muted lanterns, creating a romantic atmosphere for walking. The opportunity to feed squirrels is also very pleasing and attracts visitors.
It is very colorful, delightful, green and fresh, a huge beautiful area with lots of entertainment, a cool amusement park. I advise you to visit at least once, it will be remembered for a lifetime, and in summer also boat trips along the Sozh River
A wonderful palace and park ensemble, I recommend finding an observation tower in the park-a beautiful view opens (the cost is approximately 3 rubles.), and be sure to ride a river tram along the Sozh -40 min walk (12 rubles for an adult ticket and 6 rubles for a child) and have a snack in Provence, it is better to divide the walk into two days, on the first day take a walk around the palace and devote the second day to the park
The place is a must-visit. This is the heart of the city of Gomel. History, an amazing park ensemble, an embankment, a church and models of Gomel temples lost in Soviet times, bicentennial trees, swans, and the opportunity not only to walk, but also to drive through the park on an excursion car. By the way, there is a cafe in the park where you can eat!
A must-visit! The Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace and Park Ensemble, with an amusement park and an embankment. There will be no interesting attractions, just like in Minsk, for children it's the best. But I recommend to see the park and the palace itself, take an excursion with an audio guide.Gomel Park is doubly interesting than the two largest parks in Minsk: Chelyuskintsev and Park named after him.Gorky.
I think this is one of the best parks in Europe. A great place to relax for the whole family. Clean, tidy, lots of squirrels and birds. A beautiful pond. A sea of greenery. I recommend visiting the city first of all
A very beautiful park, a wonderful place and a beautiful beach, located nearby 👍
There are carousels for adults and children 🥰 rested with your soul 😃🌈
Separately, I would like to say a huge thank you for the ship and the excursion on it 🥰👍
A magnificent park, the decoration of the city. A park on the high bank of the river, lots of greenery, spreading trees, flowers... Down along the river there is a very beautiful promenade with beautiful viewpoints and fountains. There is an amusement park for children. A very nice place
The place is picturesque. On the territory of the park there is a Paskevich palace, a winter garden, a park with attractions. A great place to walk with children.
There are hotels and spa centers nearby for a pleasant stay for tourists.
