It's very good for Kazakhstan, breakfast and lunch are delicious, varied, healthy, the only thing in the queue is to stand too long, you get tired of it. I would have paid extra if there was dinner here, I like the food here so much.Also, all buildings, except the main one, suffer from evening disco music on the terrace, the music is not bad, but loud. And you have to wait for it to end before 24:00 to fall asleep in silence. Instead of a shower stall, from which water does not leave and smells of urine, I would like to see a bathtub, and the sinks are very small, you can barely wash your hands over it, all the time splashes on the floor from this. The pool and slides are good, but without heating the water it is very cold and uncomfortable, 18 degrees if there is, then it's good, and it won't take long to get sick. The beach is not bad, but everyone needs aquashoos, in addition to sharp stones, the lake is full of broken glass, the water is warmer closer to August, apparently, since it is still cold in July. The on-site restaurant cooks deliciously. But the portions for such prices are very small.

This place is the "pearl" on this lake. It has more than 3 buildings. The rooms here are not large, but they have almost everything you need (refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer). The only thing I had to deal with was not the mugs and cutlery that were periodically required. Cleaning for 3 days of arrival did not appear and therefore the consumables were not replenished (it seems that we ourselves had to call them). The meals (breakfast and lunch were included in the accommodation) were monotonous, but quite edible, but without frills. For dinner, a "cafe" worked in the same cafe with about the same food, but without huge portions of Kazakh. And the prices corresponded to the beach cafe. The hotel staff, the bar staff, the girls at the reception, the administrators are not particularly willing to smile, although they should. There is a large swimming pool on site, which is kept clean all the time, but the opening hours are limited. There is also a water park (with 3-level slides). For non-residents of the hotel, it is paid, but this does not deter, quite the same, a large number of people who want to hunt on a hot day. The number of sun beds with a reserve, the main thing is to find a place to install it. The beach at the hotel is pretty clean, all the time there are workers on the beach who will help clean the sunbed. The bottom on this beach is rocky (occasionally there were cobblestones) and flat.
There is a place for children to play, there is a playground, as well as a children's club in which activities such as musical charging or the creation of works of "art" by children take place periodically (2-3 times a day).
If your room is close to a cafe, then perhaps in the evening there will be problems with silence for putting the child to bed (music plays until 23-24 hours).

Rooms: it's fine, but we had a big pink stain on the carpet, the bed was dirty, they didn't even change it. it says that cleaning is done every 3 days: no one even came in. the pool is cool, but there is a slide, it's good, but its stairs.. It's even scary to walk on it. the territory is large, nice, and it's great to walk in the evening. the beach is quite dirty. it is written on the rules that there is no fine for garbage. whatever. A good place to spend holidays with children.
At the end of summer, this is the second half of August, if you are here, then know that breakfast and lunch will be the worst (included in the price), the waiters do not have time to serve the sharply increased flow of vacationers to the dining area.
And until the middle of August, I heard buffet-type breakfast and lunch, where anyone wants what and in what quantity they can take and eat, I did not see it myself, I just heard that there is such a thing.
The food is delicious in the restaurant itself, the prices are of course also "good" in the restaurant.
The beach is sandy, you can't walk barefoot, you need to take aquashouses with you.
There are water slides, children have fun. There is a disco in the evening. Mostly family vacations, it is rare to see young people.

Probably the best option for a holiday in Balkhash. But of course there are disadvantages, so 4 stars. The on-site restaurant zum is expensive and not particularly tasty. The beach on the shore is normal, the sun beds and sand are not very seeded... and there is nothing to do in the water without aquashoos, the administration immediately warns about this. There is not much entertainment, only drinking at the disco in the evening. You won't rest near the disco in the evening, the music and bass are so strong that the bed on which you lie vibrates. It is elementary that there is simply no place to dry things after the pool. Dryers are not allowed. Well, and a lot more.

An excellent hotel on the very shore of the beautiful lake Balkhash. My husband and I flew in for a couple of days to buy and were very satisfied with the service, which can be safely compared with Turkish hotels, where everything is inclusive and it will be on the level. We were in June 2024. 2 meals a day, not bad. Breakfast and lunch. The rooms in sector A are also fine. The swimming pool on the territory is large , with a depth of 1.6 m. There is a children's paddling pool. The entrance to the lake is only in coral, terrible sharp stones. The beach is clean.in general, everything is fine, the service is good. It's better to be on weekdays so that there are fewer locals.

We visited Zhemchuzhina this summer, a large and well-groomed territory , three meals a day (home cooking), clean pools and slides, rooms with all amenities, we were at the end of August and I did not like the fact that the coast is not cleaned and dirty (besides the fact that the coast is rocky). And the most outrageous thing is that the bartenders do not know how to prepare cocktails from the bar, I ordered different cocktails 2 times - they brought a full glass of ice (in fact, they sold me ice for the price of a cocktail) and when I made comments that the bartenders did not cook me that way, they proved that it was right! Here… I really liked the winter building, and the dishes from the restaurant were always delicious - chef credit!

It turned out that he was missing everyone in a row. Because of this, their customers do not have enough sun beds. The food at the Zum restaurant is not delicious but expensive. Lamb kebabs and kebab kebabs were served without sauce and pita bread. And they are not edible. I had to cancel 1 day. Thanks to the girls from the reception who were able to sell the room and returned the money for 1 day.

The kitchen is normal. Breakfast will do. I do not like sausage and cheese, as it is of low quality. But there is a choice of cottage cheese, fried eggs, porridge. Something is edible, something is delicious. For lunch, everything was delicious except okroshka, well, I don't like it on mayonnaise and all the vegetables are grated. But the rice with chicken is delicious, the borscht was excellent. If you look at the whole, the food is 4 out of 5. We went to the Barkovskaya zone for dinner. Both last year and this year, the cuisine there is good, the prices are relatively reasonable.
But 2 days is not enough, next year we will go for three or four days. The pearl has a spectacular and comfortable atmosphere.

There is a restaurant (Astana prices) and a summer house, a disco in the evening. The food is good, breakfast and lunch. A pebble beach with sand, a boat with a banana and buns, a jet ski. Large secured parking. The location is not the best, the water is not turquoise like in Chubar-tubek or Torangalyk, which is probably why there is no hotel in 2 gis and Yandex navigator, it was difficult to find it. There is nominally Wi-Fi, but it is not enough, the maximum is enough to pay the bill on Caspi. There is no cellular connection either ((. Another disadvantage is that the restaurant and the summer house are sublet, and the hotel may not always affect them. You can relax well if you don't find fault with the water, but for me, if you go to Balkhash, then you are waiting for gorgeous turquoise water. I almost forgot-the rooms are cleaned every three days, so I had to ask for shampoos, gels and toilet paper.

The lake is clean, the beach is sandy, but the entrance to the water is pebbles, so "aquataps" will be very useful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is cool, everything is cool) Minus only for breakfasts and lunches. If the room price is more than 80,000 tenge per day, there is not enough fresh fruit, soft drinks, meat dishes for lunch (except fried hams and sausages). The drinks are usually tea, coffee and milk. We lived in a suite room: carpet, wardrobe, bed, table, chair, kettle, tea pair, 2 tea bags, private shower (where the water does not leave), toilet, air conditioning and ants in the room. From my own travel experience, the suite is more like a cross between economy and standard. The most relish is the organization of meals by guests. Breakfast and lunch are included in the room rate. At the time indicated by the hotel staff, all guests flock to the summer cafe area, there are 3 food delivery areas. For breakfast it is: 1. Drinks (instant coffee and tea bags) 2. Cottage cheese and pastries, 3. Porridge and scrambled eggs. For lunch: 1. Drinks (compote and tea) 2. Salads and bread basket + pastries, 3. Main courses (2 types of soup, 2-3 types of second courses. And at the designated time, these three zones form a pandemonium and queues where you can spend 20-30 minutes. It all reminds me, as if the prisoners lined up for a meal and, after waiting for their turn, obediently received what they were given, they step aside. In the morning we came to the end of breakfast and, apparently, to get porridge for everyone, water was poured into it and a soup of overcooked rice in sweet water turned out. Bread is not the first freshness, pastries of unknown origin. This is the first time I've encountered such an attitude towards guests, for me it's nonsense. How can you feed your guests with THIS? I'm sorry, who are you feeding, the guests or the pigs?! Why should a guest who came on vacation, after paying money, first spend in line for about half an hour, and then, in the absence of an alternative, do not understand what to eat. They also have to feed the children, and the vast majority of families with children there. I leave the star for the lake itself

A clean beach, large sand with an admixture of stones, aquashouses are needed to overcome two meters when entering the lake, then fine sand, free sun loungers and sunbeds for hotel guests, turquoise clear warm water (were from July 29 to August 2), the sun is very bright. active, creams or protective clothing are needed. There are all water activities: scooter, banana, sofa), on the beach you can buy cocktails, ice cream, beer, beer, when leaving the beach, rinse your feet with cool water. A cozy area with green spaces, for a hot Balkhash, the presence of shade trees is super. A terrace for each room with a table and chairs. Children's animators, a small shaded play room and a playground. Football and volleyball fields. A large adult pool, a small children's pool and a separate one at the aqua slides. There are enough lifeguard guys on the territory of the pool, they are on their feet all the time. When rolling down the slides, they monitor the order and do not allow accumulation. Administrators are attentive. The staff is customer-oriented and efficient. We arrived at 6 a.m., and check-in at 16, we left our things in the storage room without any problems, changed our clothes and stayed on the territory before check-in. Everything is done for a comfortable stay. There are things that do not depend on the human factor - Mosquitoes, midges and locusts. Sprays for this scourge are sold on the territory, but you need to be prepared.

We stayed at the hotel with our family (children 7 and 4) from 07/21/2016. We were traveling from Russia, there was an accident on the way, and we were left without a car. Thank God they were alive, the accident was severe. At first, they canceled their reservation and thought about returning, but after thinking well, they decided to take the bus anyway and spend their vacation at least a little bit. And they didn't regret it! We really liked it! The hotel reminded us of Turkey (not 5* of course, but a very decent 3*). Excellent well-groomed territory, greenery around, comfortable rooms, good food, the choice of food is also sufficient, everyone ate enough and there was enough of everything. The water in the lake and pool was cool. There were always enough umbrellas and sun beds on the beach. The only thing was that there were fragments of glass on the beach, we collected and threw them away. They also saw how the hotel staff went and collected garbage and debris. The children really liked playing on the playground, they didn't even want to go swimming In the evening from 20:00 to 24:00 there was a disco, which attracted people from everywhere, and on weekends local people came here to celebrate their events. Everyone behaved adequately. Special thanks to the girls at the reception and the senior administrator. Since we were left without a car, it was problematic to get back, there were no train tickets. We had to stay for another half a day, and the money was already tight, so we had to move into a cheaper 2-bed room. But on the day of the eviction, we were allowed to stay in our room (4-bed) without any additional charges. And in the morning they gave me lunch boxes for 4 (although it was paid for 2). Great generosity from our whole family to the management and all the staff of the hotel! Despite the difficulties, only good memories remain from this trip thanks to YOU!
P.S. Regarding the fact that Pearl is expensive, everything is relative. In Russia, there will be no service and comfort for this amount. And you'll have to hang out on the beach like herrings in a barrel, also taking the rotovirus)) For those conditions, service and, most importantly, the ATTITUDE is an adequate price!

Everything was super, the room was clean, the staff was helpful. Be sure to try chicken breast with goat cheese and mashed potatoes on the menu, it's just a delight!
