A very good place for a calm and quiet holiday, the water is clear and clean. The nature is magnificent, a relict forest, a cypress alley, greenery everywhere and various outlandish plants for a resident from the northern regions. A small, cozy, resort town. Of course, there are disadvantages, there are pig people (where they live and eat there and shit), but the locals are very polite and friendly. There are various shops mainly for tourists, but if you explore the city, which will take you about a day, you can find a small supermarket, the market, by the way, is quite large. You can eat in cafes and restaurants, as well as in canteens, of which there are quite a lot on the territory. And if you want to enjoy the good views, then in one of the boarding houses on the coast at a height of 15 floors there is a restaurant (cafe) with access to the terrace, where you can have a delicious meal and see the beauty of Pitsunda. There is also a concert hall in the 10th century temple, where the organ is located, and concerts are given there, so you will not be left without cultural recreation.
A beautiful beach, I consider one of the best on the Abkhazian coast, as there is a pine grove nearby, which protects both from the sun on hot weekdays and from the storm. It is clean, the pebbles are small, it is convenient to get home. There are many cafes along the coast. The only drawback is that in the grove itself, while walking along the path, you can observe a lot of garbage. But ... this is where the tourists themselves are to blame - after all, you can carry garbage to the house or to the nearest trash can, although they have been reduced and there are very few along the coast, I'm talking about garbage containers.
The beaches of the united resort of PITSUNDA are good, spacious and relatively clean (unless of course after a storm). There are showers, toilets and changing rooms. Under certain conditions, you can take a chaise longue.
In the buildings of the hotel there is a cafe and a quite democratic dining room with a buffet.
Foot traders are not particularly overpowered, as there are enough official trading tents with pleasant prices. With plenty of offers for active recreation and sightseeing points.
In a word, RESPECT!
A good beach is not very large pebbles. Clean, clear water, calm sea. You can take a walk in the grove nearby, ride on the Ferris Wheel and on the ship. There is a good cafe nearby.
The only drawback is a dirty public toilet, but this is probably a problem everywhere in Abkhazia, even if there is a paid toilet, and here at least it is free.
Pitsunda is Pitsunda, the most popular holiday for Soviet people. At the present time, unfortunately, it is running, not well maintained, but the sea, the coast, stunning views of the fascinating mountains smooth out these shortcomings and I no longer want to leave and I want to come back again. We were particularly impressed by the cows in the center of Pitsunda, walking freely late at night, as if accompanying us to an organ music concert
A wonderful beach. There is almost no wave. The sea is clear. It is pleasant to meet the sunny dawn every morning, the dolphins are happy about the new day and thus make us happy. I'm coming to this beach for the second year and I'm already planning to come next year. I have been in love with Abkhazia since 2020. The food at the cafe on the beach is very tasty - shawarma chebureks. Well done guys, trying to please the vacationers.
A spacious pebble beach, quite clean. The famous Pitsunda pines grow along the coast, there are changing rooms, you can always find a place to eat. It's just not clear why they charge eighty rubles per person at the entrance. Although this has become the norm in Abkhazia.
We specially went to the beach in Pitsunda for the whole day. Very good reviews about him. They call it Emerald. First, we walked slowly along the picturesque green and blooming alley, with shopping malls, cafes and canteens, cheburechnye...We took some photos. Entrance to the beach is paid 80 rubles per person, passes through the boxwood forest park...We also took a leisurely walk...An unforgettable day. Very clean water. And a beach with small pebbles. There is a shower (with sooo cold water) and a changing room.We had an unforgettable day. We received a tan as a gift. Leaving this wonderful beach...we walked along the beach along the rows with brisk trade - fruits, juices, pastries that beckon... The impressions were only good ...
And we will leave the shortcomings in the arrangement of the beach and the embankment behind the "brackets". I want everything to be in harmony: the sea, nature and beauty made by human hands!!!! We will be waiting for the beaches of Pitsunda to be updated.
Developed infrastructure. There are many cafes and souvenirs. I will especially mention cafe Rio - good hookahs, cocktails, cafe Veranda - you can eat a good hodgepodge, fish soup with a view of the sea (be sure to try Dioscuria). The beach is clean, the people are in moderation. There are paid sun beds from 600 to 1200 per day. A very nice khinkalnaya in front of the Apsa hotel.
The rest at the Pitsunda boarding house from 10.09 .24 made a good impression. Room in the building "Mayak" with modern amenities, 9th floor. Luda's maid is very friendly, explained everything, cleaned daily. The food corresponds to the price of the voucher. They didn't leave hungry. The beach is rocky, but closer to the Apsna building it is quite comfortable. Many thanks to the reception staff for understanding. Convenient transfer, conducted across the border without queues. Thank you to all the staff of the boarding house for their hospitality!
The beach is crowded, but beautiful! The sea is pleasant, the bottom is not very steep. But the best thing is to be in the shops near the beach. Gorgeous smoked fish for pennies, delicious coffee on the sand, a variety of pastries. It feels like you're in the 80s. But not in a bad way, a very comfortable place
If you choose between Gagra, Alakhadze and Pitsunda, then definitely Pitsunda! A clean, well-groomed beach, small pebbles and not sand, which is clogged wherever possible. The prices are reasonable. We really liked it. We took a tour with a transfer flight from Yekaterinburg to Sochi. Next time we decided to go by car, because there are more possibilities. It's a little expensive to ride in a taxi. In general, I definitely recommend it.
There are beautiful beaches in Pitsundk! Everywhere. Any of the beaches of this Abkhazian town are pleased with the cleanliness of the territories, the clarity of the water in the sea, not a strong polyhedron, the absence of cutting from breakwaters (you are not in a concrete cage, paddock, but have access to a 360-degree view for many kilometers. The Pitsunda pines are a separate delight. You can not leave the beach all day without harm to your health, go into the shade of a pine forest and lie down, inhaling a special coniferous aroma. There is something to eat there. There are toilets, showers too. The sea is always clean and transparent here. Sea foam is always snow-white in a storm. The most beautiful beaches available on the Black Sea are located in Pitsunda! As you can see, there are pebbles everywhere (of different sizes), but if desired, you can get to the purely sandy beaches.
I love Pitsunda, I come every year, for 7 years in a row, in September, a beautiful clear sea, a wide beach, relict pines, a nature reserve where you can walk and enjoy the fresh air, a large number of cafes. I recommend everyone to go, you will not regret it.
The cleanest water, a well-maintained beach, pebbles. There is a water park. Lots of cafes and kiosks. Only one thing can be attributed to the disadvantages - everything is slowly being destroyed. It is a pity, but local authorities pay very little attention to the preservation and improvement of infrastructure. But it's still very good to rest. The air, the pines, the sun and the sea.
An incredible place! The beach is very wide, and so is the promenade. Even if there are a lot of people, you can always disperse calmly and freely. Everything is clean, especially the sea!
There is entertainment for children. There are many cafes. Delicious cocktails at the first building.
A fairy tale in one word. Clean sea and beaches, sun beds are available, there are paid bungalows. There are pavilions and cafes along the embankment. The food is very tasty, especially chebureks, fish and kebabs. And what kind of beer,,, Water Park. Boat trips. Clean air, relict pines.
Great experience, the beach is clean enough. The water in the sea is warm, transparent, even the fish have bitten their heels. Nearby cafes you can have a cheap snack. The shore is pebbles, not large. There is an inflatable slide and attractions for children. I recommend.
Pros: clear sea (sometimes), pine trees, there are sun beds and umbrellas, there are cafes / stalls / fast food, there is entertainment water park / slides / bananas.
Cons: dirty sea (sometimes), sunbeds occupy and leave, food can be poisoned, garbage, devastation, fence and paid entrance, showers are overgrown with greenery.
Conclusions:
I came to the beach in the afternoon - you take off other people's things and take the sunbeds, some even return for things in the evening, and in the heat of the day you lie on the pebbles in the sun, and someone's slippers in the shade on the sunbed.
Eat proven food.
3 stars for this beach. It doesn't pull at 5 in any way, even at 4.. The potential is huge, there is no implementation.
We agree to pay more, but for the fact that there are free sun beds and umbrellas, for normal showers, for normal toilets, for edible food! I needed to work out, I was looking for a playground... It's just terrible... 2 turnstiles from 50 years ago... And a volleyball court, there are no words....
A beautiful wide beach, sun beds and umbrellas are available. Small pebbles, you can go in without corals, the sea is calm. They ride a banana, you can ride a catamaran. Inflatable slides for children. There are small cafeterias and a canteen.
There is no better place for children and their parents to relax!!! Eucalyptus, pine trees, palm trees, cypress - this is a wellness air cocktail and the sea is clean like a tear! We have been coming to Pitsunda for 4 years now. Living and recreation conditions are improving every year. New elevators in the buildings, a cinema has been opened, roads are being improved. The staff at the boarding houses is very friendly, polite, friendly, always ready to help with any questions. Many thanks to everyone who makes our vacation comfortable. Of course, it is better to book a ticket in advance (for example, in March), prices do not change, but there may not be places if you want to go without an order. The association of boarding houses of the Pitsunda resort - I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my Heart! You won't regret it. Take a look at the photo... Fairy tale.. Without words!!!
So far, the best pebble beach on the coast is for me. The pebbles are average. The sea is clean, and the pines overlooking the beach are magical. An ecotourist's paradise. There are very few people north of the statue of Medea. And deep into the bay, on the contrary, cafes and bars, recreation for every taste.
Beautiful, cozy, long, green embankment, lots of Pitsunda pine, everyone will find a place to stay and relax, breathe fresh and healthy air) Posting views from the Ferris wheel) Fell in love! I recommend it!
We rested for the second time, I really liked it here, yes, of course there is a problem with garbage, but the air is very wonderful the sea is very clean and warm as never before the beaches are huge with a choice of places there are no problems the forest is a wonderful beach * cypress * I advise you to relax there the food is normal.
The beach of Pitsunda impresses with the beauty, atmosphere and air of relict pines. The clean, gentle sea and picturesque nature create a unique atmosphere. The beach is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay: there are sun beds, umbrellas and changing cabins.
I especially liked that there are few people on the beach, you can safely enjoy the sea and the sun. I will definitely come back here again!
I recommend everyone to visit Pitsunda beach — it is an ideal place to relax.
The water is clear (it is gorgeous and almost without waves), there are sun loungers on the beach (for vacationers in the pension OPK Pitsunda), there are houses for everyone, there are several cafes on the embankment. The beach itself is practically not cleaned, and vacationers throw away / leave anything on the pebbles.
A beautiful beach, a wide coastline, benches everywhere, toilets, changing rooms, catering. It's clean enough. The sea is wonderful. The only drawback is the lack of sun beds. Buy and rent, the idea will pay off in a week!
Nostalgia for the USSR, the beach is comfortable for swimming, the water is clean. Even from the height of the Ferris wheel, you can see the color of the corals of people standing in the sea. The air is magical. There are a lot of people in the season and people, like in Turkey, run to take places on the beach in the morning. The service is not intrusive, but everything you need is there.
We had a great rest, ate hot smoked trout and tasted Sukhumi beer with a 60-decade history of brewing. And the sea is just super, clean and heavenly. Thank you to Abkhazia for a wonderful time.
Beautiful view, wonderful sea. Clear. There is sand, entering the sea with small pebbles.
The nature is incredible, eucalyptus trees, pines, cypresses.
The air is very clean.
A quiet, cozy place
Sooo many people! The beach, near the cypress alley is equipped, there are umbrellas, a chaise longue, changing cabins.
The sea is awesome! Open, without bays! Clean and sooo beautiful!
It's just a heavenly place)))a place of strength and tranquility. It is convenient to get from anywhere in Abkhazia, inexpensive, very cozy, food is available for different tastes. It's very simple but with a soul
A good legacy of the Soviet period. Great place, great atmosphere. One of the great places in Abkhazia that is worth visiting and relaxing, to look at the Soviet architecture of that time. But it all needs to be maintained in proper condition
A great place to relax near the sea. Everything is there. The main thing is that there is a boarding house and the sea nearby. The service at the boarding house is polite, friendly and respectful. However, vacationers do not understand how to behave in public places, namely in a boarding house. They consider that if a boarding house is not repaired, it should be broken up. People consider it a low payment to receive reports with various conditions.
Personally, I got a great vacation. I went to the sea, I got what I wanted. The room is clean, the shower is available, the toilet is always free. The floor is clean and quiet. The food is good three times a day. It was a lot for me, so I ate every other day or once a day. There is a buffet and a lot to choose from without restrictions. If that's not enough, there's a cafe nearby with as many privileges at every step. Pharmacies are fully accessible within walking distance. I didn't take any cash with me at all. Purchases are made by transfer. There is also Sberbank, Tinkoff.
I was vacationing in Amzar. I want to express my huge words of gratitude to the girls on the ricepshone and the maid of the 7th floor, Nonna. A polite, attentive, respectful woman is always available at any time of the day. He will always come to the rescue and find medicines and call a doctor. Wonderful people work there.
I also want to write to future vacationers: you need to ask yourself more questions. If you leave your upbringing to the maids and leave the boarding house with a clear conscience and respect, then life will be wonderful.
How can you write your dissatisfactions in such circumstances
The sea is the purest. The chaise lounge issuance system is annoying. The whole old guard has been occupying them since dawn, they collect them early in the evening, it would be better if they just made a ban on the so-called reservation, throw their towels on the chaise longue and it stands with him almost all day, in normal places no one does this, came used and left, then came back and found another free one to lie on it, and here, if you did not come by 6 a.m. in the morning, then during the day you will observe 50 sun loungers without people, but like booked with a towel
I can't compare with the beaches of Bali and other resorts, but I can with Crimea, golden sands, Turkey...in general, it is generally wide, there are not so many pebbles, there is always a queue at the hotels ... in general, there is a lot of space and it is good. Not Turkey and Bulgaria, but definitely better than the narrow beach of Crimea.
The cleanest and warmest sea on this beach. And the air is a separate song... There are many cafes with different pricing policies, ride on banana and cheesecakes. It is a pity that there are few toilets and those are paid.
A gorgeous place, but by Soviet standards. The nature is great, the sea is great. Dolphins can be seen almost every day. There is a problem with parking. You need to know in advance where to park your car.
Wonderful cafe 👍 the food is delicious and fresh, the staff is friendly, the service is fast. The prices are not high. But here the most wonderful thing is the view : it is simply mesmerizing 😍
My favorite beach in Pitsunda, the sea here is cleaner than everywhere else, calm and without waves like in Gagra, cafes, entertainment nearby, I recommend it to everyone!
The beach is about 1 km from Cypress Alley towards Gagra. The view is gorgeous - tall pines on the beach. The beach is pebbly, a little further from the shore there is sand. It is not crowded , the water is clean . But there are cow cakes on the beach.(((
The sea is beautiful!!! Clean even with waves. The number of people, compared to Gagra, is very large. People, apparently remembering Soviet times, occupy sun beds with their belongings and are simply absent from the beach most of the time. At the same time, all the sun beds are occupied.. they wanted to lie down under the canopy, but alas.. It didn't happen. There are changing rooms, showers. There are many different eateries, you will not stay hungry. By lunch, the beach is empty and then comes complete relaxation and enjoyment of the sea..
The coast of the bay in Pitsunda is now my love. The sea is calm and clean. Pebbles on the beach and in the sea. There are few people. Storms are extremely rare here. Mountain view. Pine trees grow along the embankment. The air is awesome! There are many cafes and outlets with fruits, drinks, and ice cream. There is a Ferris wheel with a height of 55 m, which offers breathtaking views. 😍
The sea is clear and transparent. Nature, the view is magnificent. The feeling of swimming is completely different from the beaches of Sochi, the water seems different.
But landscaping, service - everything is lame, as in principle and throughout Abkhazia.
Great beach. There is a lot of space, there are changing rooms, showers. There are many shopping malls nearby. The only disadvantage is that in order to take a chaise longue, you need to get ahead of all the grandmothers from the defense industry.
The cleanest sea, the coastline is wide, there are enough places for everyone. There are cafes and shops all along the coast.in the heat, you can hide in the pine forest.Next season, only here.
Beautiful view, wonderful sea. Clear. There is sand, access to the sea on pebbles. There weren't many vacationers. If you have food with you, you can spend the whole day on the beach.
Beautiful nature, clean water, a small water park for children, but it was not possible to find a free sunbed in 3 days. It feels like vacationers put towels on them on the first day, and never cleaned. The very comfortable gazebos that were installed here this season helped out.
Pros: Cool infrastructure, beautiful view, clean water, you can see dolphins even during the day.
Cons: A lot of people in the season, not for children (2 steps and a lot of depth).
We visited several beaches of Abkhazia, I liked it the most here. Pine trees, high, clean water, no waves, but there are toilets and food. The only thing would be fewer people,☺️
