It's a very beautiful place. When we were here, there were props for filming a movie at the old railway station. It's like they're making a retro movie. There was even an old grand piano in the rotunda.It's amazing! 👍

I was at this station on 07/20.21. Near the station there is beautiful nature, not far from the trail of Simon Kananita. We were very surprised by the tunnels through which the train still runs, but it does not stop at this station. It is a pity that the local administration does not care about anything: the Soviet Union froze here, carved stone statues of those times, even the simophore does not work, people run off the rails, only hearing the whistle of the locomotive. In general, the Soviet Union froze everywhere in Abkhazia.

Psyrtskha Platform is a place that is definitely worth a visit if you come to New Athos. It feels like you are entering the worlds of Hayao Miyazaki. The railway is operational, we were lucky enough to film a passing train "Moscow-Sukhum".
