Be sure to look into every corner.
And be sure to watch it in the afternoon and evening.
A lot of local goods, souvenirs. If you search and bargain, sometimes it comes out cheaper than on the market (sometimes not, as luck would have it, but the prices are not the highest).
Don't forget to go up to the second floor, where you can have a coffee, or you can just take a picture.

This is an incredible place, there is such a history here, and such a reverent energy, it was felt even on the skin. Birds are chirping, although it is located in the center of the ancient city of Samarkand, where the chaotic movement of life, transport.but when you get here, all the noise subsides, and it's like you're in another world. There are souvenir shops here, in one of them we met Firuza, had a very pleasant conversation, she told the story of Rigiston. Место действительно потрясающее, особенно в вечернее время при включении подсветки. Сами здания медресе, отделка, мозаика, майолика - всё очень красивое. Множество туристов из разных стран приходит посмотреть на великолепный образец исламской архитектуры. Стоимость билета для иностранцев 50000 сум. Общий вид комплекса можно оценить и сфотографировать, не заходя на территорию. Можно взять экскурсию либо аудиогид. Без магазинов с сувенирной продукцией не обошлось))

The most recognizable symbol of Samarkand and the business card of the whole Uzbek camp, the Registan Square complex was formed in the XV-XVII centuries: Ulugbek Madrasah (one of the oldest theological schools in Central Asia), Til-la-Kari madrasah with gilded patterns in niches-mihrabs and Sherdor madrasah (its mosaic facade depicts either tigers, whether lions) and the sun - face. Like three reflections, symmetrical buildings with blue domes and tall minarets produce a triple effect, which is enhanced when the illumination is turned on in the square. In the evenings, the facades of the madrasah turn into screens for a light and music show telling about the history of Uzbekistan. A short version is shown every day, and on holidays and special days a full 40-minute program with music and 3D laser projections is broadcast.

Регистан - это большая история на протяжении нескольких веков. В колорите подсветки супер сказачно и натурально. Респект организаторам исторического центра. Но, удивить бы туристу не мешало лазерное шоу с анимацией, это как пожелание. Мне кажется с каждого собрать по 1000 сум вечером, это можно делать каждый день, так как желающих увидеть его очень много. Стабильного развития Самарканду и сохранения ценности истории !
