It is very authentic, such colors and such brightness, especially in sunlight. Entry March 2024 cost 65,000 soums. Of course there are a lot of people, but overall the photos turned out great. I definitely recommend going out in the evening and watching the ensemble under artificial lighting. You can do a photo shoot and capture it as a souvenir in a beautiful costume. I did the photo shoot without going into the ensemble, if you stand facing the ensemble, then on the right hand, turning the corner of the ensemble, you will find a tent on the side of Islam Karimov Street, where young people will dress you beautifully and take wonderful photos.
Amazing location. I came here to the square early in the morning, the guard said that the entrance was paid, it cost 65,000 soums, but agreed to 50,000 (it was possible to bargain less)). The buildings are very impressive, and it is hard to believe that they were built many centuries ago.
The business card of Samarkand. A striking example of Islamic architecture. In the evening, a beautiful music and light show takes place, which attracts crowds of tourists. Entrance to the square itself and the buildings of the madrasah is by ticket, but from the observation deck you can admire it for free.
Well, it seems to me that every self-respecting person should visit Uzbekistan.)) To touch antiquity, science, culture... Expand your horizons. And in this regard, the Registan Square is mandatory!! No, it's not like that: IT's MANDATORY!! Here you will be greeted with a smile; they will give you delicious coffee or tea, depending on your preference; and... they will tell you!! Selflessly, with ecstasy and pride in their history!! And they really have something to tell!!)) And they will also show a bunch of souvenirs - from carpets from the time of the Zaroastrians to local dolls - "tumblers"!)) And, by all means, you need to go to the evening color show☝️😀
Impressive. I advise you to watch the laser evening show. This is not the same as the light and music that happens every day. Whether there will be a laser and at what time it is necessary to find out from the security of the complex or at the ticket office.
It's a very beautiful place, especially in the evening when the lights are on. We were in Samarkand for the city day and caught a light show. It's a fire🔥
A great place to relax. An impressive historical monument is the Registan Ensemble with impressive structures. A very colorful and cool place. Be sure to visit and take a photo.
The place in Samarkand is a must-visit! The main attraction of Uzbekistan, where you can get stuck for several hours. Very atmospheric. I recommend it to everyone
A fascinating place! A huge territory with a great history. Especially if there is someone who tells an interesting story. The evening laser show is very beautiful. On certain days, a whole performance is shown that tells the whole history of Uzbekistan. I recommend it!
A kaleidoscope of colors, light and oriental melodies surrounded by ancient walls of madrasahs and minarets. In the evening, the center of attraction for tourists and local youth. Be sure to wait for the color and music performance. The best place for photo shoots in the style of 1000 and 1 a.m.)))
It is very unusual and beautiful. A bunch of overpriced shops. It's worth going to see and plunge into the atmosphere. Buying something is definitely not.
A very beautiful walk with three madrassas, there are excursions, clean. Impressive! It is very beautiful both in the afternoon and in the evening! There is a show program for you in the evening!
Expensive tickets , 65,000 sums for tourists . Two Uzbek citizens were with us, since they did not have their passports with them, they also had to pay 65,000 sums. Inside you have the feeling that you are at the bazaar , the prices of space have sold a baseball cap for 100,000 sums , next to the bazaar the same for 30,000 sums . I think this attitude towards tourists should not be .
It is a beautiful Registan, the entrance costs 65,000 soums, the tour costs 100,000 soums. There you can also drink Turkish coffee 35,000 soums on the second floor.
And in the evening, a light show
A magnificent ensemble of oriental architecture. The restorers did their best. We advise you to take an additional excursion with an ascent to the minaret from there a stunning view of the whole city.
The landmark of Samarkand. It was very interesting to see how they were treated in the 15th century. The courtyards are so clean, cozy and peaceful in atmosphere.
God!!!! How beautiful it is there, and why not please your eyes with the most magnificent works of architectural and design art of antiquity and get a feeling of deep inner satisfaction?!
I advise everyone who is or will be in Samarkand to visit Registan!
Beauty. Greatness. Pride. Admiration. The splendor. Perhaps everyone who visits there experiences such emotions. At every time of the year and at different times of the day, this ensemble looks amazing!!
If you don't have much time and you choose which of the attractions to visit, then Registan will be the best option. There is a maximum accumulation of excellent locations for photos and a rich historical base if you order a guide.
A cool ensemble: beautiful madrassas, minarets, you can take a tour right on the spot - a great immersion in history. There is a musical light show on the square every evening for an hour. There are a lot of shops and souvenir shops inside.
A very beautiful place with its own history, we walked with a guide more carefully, guides sometimes impose unnecessary excursions, everything is nearby in Samarkand
I really liked it there. Cleanliness, order, the steps are washed daily, at 8 pm there is always (except in winter) light and musical illumination. There are a lot of people there then! There are a lot of tourists. The entrance to the complex itself is paid, in April 2024 it was 65,000 soums.
It's beautiful here both in the afternoon and in the evening. It's better even in the evening- there can be a lot of people in the afternoon. Entrance is paid. Be sure to take a guided tour - you will discover a lot in this place
We lived five minutes from this complex. It's a beautiful place. And how many weddings there were during the day and on weekends - you will lose count😀 very beautiful. We had a rest in early October

It is a very beautiful place, breathtaking, there is a place like a photo zone where you can take amazing photos, there is a photographer inside who can dress you up in a national outfit and arrange a photo and video session for an acceptable fee, I will definitely go there again next year!
It's stunningly beautiful!
Perhaps it makes sense for the city authorities to think about excursions around the complex at night for a limited number of tourists upon prior reservation.
You want to enjoy such beauty without crowds around.
Very exciting! But the prices for tourists from Russia are off the scale! It would be twice as expensive, but everything is ten times more expensive there. There will be no more tourists from this....
Nice, clean. The laser show is not always on schedule. A very photo-watchable place. Beautiful photos are obtained from any angle. Be sure to enter the territory of the complex. Entrance is paid.
Monumental! I liked the tour, which is offered immediately, quickly, without unnecessary words, everything is on the case and interesting. The only surprise is that the toilet is paid, although, it would seem, it is already on a paid territory.
This place is worth coming here. And even better, if you take a guide who will tell you a lot of things that you will not learn if you just explore this attraction.
One of the two places in Samarkand that, from my point of view, should be visited and it will be worth it, a visually beautiful ensemble. Entrance to the territory is paid, you do not want to pay, you look through the fences, there is nothing to see inside, there are souvenir shops there, there are no historical sites.
If you have something more impressive than a phone, you will also have to pay for the right to shoot.
A very beautiful square. Sometimes someone orders music and lighting and then it becomes even more beautiful. The entrance is like 65,000 soums. For another 75,000 soums per person, you can climb onto the roof of the minaret. There is no observation deck, you just climb out onto the tin roof (without a railing). Beautiful madrasas inside, you can see how the students lived. I was with a guide who told everything in detail.
