It's a good place.
How many times have I visited Yerevan, I have always visited this square. There is always a good atmosphere, musicians fountains (in summer of course) a good place to get emotionally charged.
The central square of Yerevan. It houses ministries, a hotel, as well as the main museums of the country (in one building) - the National Museum and the National Gallery. Museums are just a must-visit.
I really liked Republic Square. The Armenian History Museum is also located here. I recommend visiting before a trip to tourist places. The tour costs 2500 drams, the translator costs 5000 drams. The price is summer 2023. The Russian-speaking guide (Anna, I think) leads the tour perfectly. I really liked it!
A very beautiful square. I walk there all the time. I admire fountains, architecture and beautiful designs for holidays (illumination and all that) Super!
Beauty. Both in the afternoon and in the evening it is very beautiful. The fountain is transparent, washed periodically. The music is beautiful and they dance like they are alive..
In the fountain season, you should definitely visit and enjoy the beautiful "dance" of fountains to pleasant music. And on New Year's holidays with beautiful and festive installations!
A beautiful square in a beautiful city. Tuff buildings frame the square very beautifully. Yerevan is comfortable in September. Not hot, but warm. It's cool at night, walking and sleeping is just wonderful
There is always something to see, the central square with many fountains in the warm season and a bunch of garlands in the cold season. The view is amazing, I advise you to definitely visit.
Very beautiful "singing" fountains in the evening with a pleasant sound range for every taste.
During the day, it's just a spacious and picturesque square.
It is convenient that there are drinking fountains in the square.
A beautifully decorated place. It is clear that they tried their best. There are many different kinds of tourist alleys with mulled wine, coffee and other joys for the guests of Armenia.
Singing fountains, a lot of young people, people gather here to relax and admire the fountain, modern music often plays, you can even dance, there are many eateries and coffee shops around, with not very inflated prices, and the main feature of the square is that streets and avenues diverge from it according to the idea of the architect of the city in all directions
It's beautiful at night, there is smog, gorgeous passing cars that you rarely see in Moscow, there are really a lot of them there, in general, you can walk, go to a restaurant, there are no homeless people, drug addicts
One of the favorite places in the city of Yerevan) in the summer, musical fountains turn on in the evenings-this state is just an indescribable feeling there. There I rest my soul
There is always something going on here, life is in full swing. On a summer evening, it's nice to see fountains, music is always playing near the walls. And in New Year's time, the most beautiful thing here is the Christmas tree, the lights, the feeling of celebration. I recommend to take a walk here
Republic Square is good especially in the warmer months, when the fountains are working. All the buildings on the square are made in the style of the Stalinist Empire style, as well as tuff, like most buildings in Yerevan. It is recommended to visit.
The beauty is indescribable, you have to see it with your own eyes. Clean, stunning illumination, all shimmering with beautiful golden light at night. And what a Christmas tree in the center!
I visited Yerevan for the first time in November 2023, and I still remember Republic Square as something beautiful, monumental, and solid. Pink tuff captivated me forever :) It is the center from which the streets begin like rays of the sun. Music in the square and music in my heart :)
On New Year's Eve, there was a wonderful illumination, emphasizing the architectural style of the square. It's all clear. There are many cafes and restaurants around.
Either that's the air here.. whether it's the weather, but I like a lot of things in Yerevan :) And Republic Square is one of those places. It feels like Rome to me. there are also round trees (but taller) and ancient architecture. But let's go back to Yerevan :) The square is very quiet in the morning and very noisy in the afternoon :) the whole city is gathering, children are running around, the hum of voices, music is playing and the noise of the fountain can be heard. The fountain is amazing! With music and lighting effects. The works of famous composers are played.. The child's favorite place. Every time we walk around the center, he drags me there. The fountain starts the show at about 20 o'clock. The architecture on the square is amazing. The buildings are built of tuff. Arches, various ornaments. I really like this kind of thing.
I managed to see the singing fountain. I understand he doesn't sing every day)) and there is no information anywhere. In general, I recommend you to visit.
Very beautiful, especially in the evening! You just sit, look at the fantan, listen to music - you rest your soul. People are so responsive and kind, a positive aura emanates from them. Being in Yerevan, it is impossible to get lost - all roads lead to the "Res Square
In the USSR, this square was called Lenin Square. Very beautiful buildings made of pink tuff, richly decorated with stone carvings (Armenians are great masters in this area). The square makes a strong impression and if you go to Yerevan, then this is a must-visit place. There are many excellent boutiques, cafes and restaurants near the square. A great place, lots of fountains, trees, very clean and a special feature fountains with delicious drinking water, in the summer a very important thing!
The city center. If you walk, you can see the sights. If you're driving, there's nowhere to park. There are many cafes, restaurants and hotels. The prices are different. Various excursions will be offered to your attention. It's up to you to choose.
It's a pretty good place to go for a walk. It's full of tourists and Hindus. There is not much to look at on the square itself in winter, and in summer you can stare at the fountain.
A beautiful place that attracts the eye. I want to take photos all the time. I visited Yerevan twice in February. I dream of coming in spring or summer to see Republic Square and Yerevan in all its glory 😊
