The funicular in Tbilisi to Mtatsminda Mountain is a historical attraction that should be visited by all visitors to the city. There is a restaurant of the same name at the very top. The place is expensive and famous. We went to the restaurant for only one thing – to try the famous donuts. I really declare that these are the most delicious donuts in my life. Hot, crispy, with delicious cream inside. The most important thing is to stop))). A calorie bomb, but very tasty. But the Waters of Logidze, praised by all, are overrated.

Probably the main advantage of this particular restaurant is the huge full-wall panel in the banquet hall of the artist N.Ignatov "Dedication to Pirosmani". You can look at it as much as you want, and always find new characters.Who doesn't know, try to at least ask to see it-it's a masterpiece!
I also remember this place in the 90s. The restaurant was closed, and the panel was completely unattended in an empty hall, but the benefit was preserved. 🍇

The restaurant is located on a hill, I got from the bottom of the funicular to the top. There were few seats, but the administrator (a nice man) put me on the balcony, where I actually met the sunset. The views are incredible . The price is usual for Tbilisi . The waiters speak only English. There are a couple of attractions near the restaurant. They work until 23.30. There is a small queue for the ascent and descent, but it passes quickly. The cost is 22 GEL with a round-trip card .

The vegetable salad is very tasty, everyone praised it! Top dressing, sour and salty
Khachapuri is excellent, lots of cheese, good dough. After dipping into sauces from the dishes, it was delicious
Satsivi is an interesting serving, tender chicken, excellent sauce. Delicious
And now about what I didn't really like:
The steak was ruined! Very dry meat, they asked for medium roasting, in the end it was well done

Service: we forgot to bring salads at the end of the evening, it was a shame. We ordered meat, there were not enough vegetables, but they were not brought.

You can visit once, the view is crazy. It is worth going and ordering Georgian cuisine - it is really very tasty here. For the sake of everything else, it's not worth it

It is also important for a good restaurant to constantly be near the guest, to offer something , to find out if everything is okay, if you like the food, to offer something, pour wine, there is a complete failure, they never came up themselves, constantly waving their hands and calling for such a level of institution is simply indecent, tips are exactly 0 for this approach, the owner screwed up a lot here that he did not build a training system, also the lack of a menu in Russian looks crazy, even in any hole in Vietnam or Cuba they will bring you a crooked oblique translation. The waiters, accordingly, cannot advise anything. Russian Russians and the Russian language are suspected to be biased by the owner.. I always try to follow the reviews and in large numbers, but there is a complete bottom. The only thing that's really good is the view of the city, but the restaurant has nothing to do with it, it's not his merit. Кафе расположено в парке Мтацминда, это гора в Тбилиси. Поднимались на фуникулере, можно и на такси, но долго и муторно((. Кассы фуникулера около Вильнюсского парка, покупаешь карточку и кладешь там же на нее деньги. Карточка вроде бессрочная, не выбрасывайте, вдруг вернетесь). Поднимались в кафе специально поесть пончики по тбилисски. Кафе приятное, много десертов, меню принесли. Есть русскоговорящий персонал, все готовы тебе помочь с заказом. В теплое время года можно посидеть на открытой террасе с видом на Тбилиси. Да, пончики! Они супер! При каждом посещении Тбилиси стараемся съездить в это кафе.

Впервые на фуникулере. При подьеме открывается красивый вид на город. В самом парке хорошие атракционны,без очередей,контактный зоопарк,разные кафе и рестораны и много смотровых площадок с шикарными видами на город.

Фуникулёр - классная штука! Вид с горы потрясающий! Парк на горе прекрасный для прогулок и развлечений, и для детей свой парк, и для взрослых. В парке можно и перекусить, и хорошо пообедать в ресторане. А какой обзор Тбилиси открывается со смотровых площадок - не хватает слов, описать, просто классный! Одно докучало - жара была, около 35 градусов.

Хостес и администраторы говорят по-русски улыбаются и доброжелательны, некоторые молодые официанты прекрасно понимают, но отказываются говорить и некоторые показывают неприязнь , не хотят обслуживать русскоговорящих- передают стол другим. Не профессионально
