I was very disappointed by the lack of an opportunity to park the car in the parking lot in the evening. As it turned out, the entrance to the parking lot is limited in the evening.

This castle, or rather its ruins, is one of the most mysterious places in Belarus. Ghosts, unexplained anomalies and accidents, creepy stories - if you like such things, then you just need to visit Golshany. Restoration work is underway, so it will not be possible to wander through the ruins. With an entrance ticket, you can go down to a small basement and also climb to the second and third floors of the observation tower.
A great place for a summer excursion! The castle has begun to be restored well, there are excellent views from the upper tower, there are interesting exhibits!
The cashiers are very friendly. A local cat runs around nearby. The exposition inside the castle is rather poor, but interesting. Apparently, they will still be restored. In general, it was interesting. The ticket to the exhibition is inexpensive.
Great place! It is very beautiful and great that the work is being done!!! We were on January 7, and the castle was supposed to be closed, but the workers came out on their own, it's very inspiring) and we were able to buy souvenirs as a keepsake, the prices are low, which is also nice!
It was autumn. I really liked it. One turret has been restored. It was already possible to go to it. The ticket is very cheap.
I really liked the atmosphere. One of my favorite places in Belarus.
We went on an excursion, took cool pictures. It was interesting. Stairs lead to the top. It's beautiful inside, but there are very narrow passages and rooms, claustrophobics obviously don't need to go there)
It's a very beautiful place. I remember it from childhood, when there was no museum, metal tracks, and archaeologists were just beginning to tell the castle's cellars.
Today, only 20% of the entire castle has been cleared. Work for years...
It is not the first time I have visited the ruins of the Golshansky castle, but this time the impressions were terrible. When approaching the ruins, a woman (an employee of the Oshmyansky Museum) jumps out to everyone who wants to look at the castle and begins to demand 2 rubles per person for passage.
I would not mind giving 10 rubles, but the way a woman demands money immediately causes rejection. To my friend's question, is it possible to just look at the ruins from the outside, the employee gave an ingenious answer: In general, as if it were possible, but I will have to make sure that you do not go where you do not need to, so you can not:)))
Guys, learn how to communicate with visitors (for example, at least the ruins of Kreva Castle, where the entrance is by the way 5 rubles, but the staff are polite, they know how to interest, and even lead interesting excursions)
There's nothing to look at. And the construction was going on at that moment and they are not allowed into the tower just like that.
As for me, it would be better to leave it as it is, so it is more valuable, what is the use of historical value, which has been converted into modern nonsense.
Although the ruins of the castle are poorly preserved, but bypassing them, you can imagine the beauty of this castle. There is a small museum in one of the restored towers. Unfortunately, there are no plans to restore it anymore. The complete layout of the entire castle can be seen in the Oshmyansk Museum of Local Lore. It is interesting that even in those ancient times, underground passages passed from the basements of the castle, through which it was possible to get to places far from the castle
I visited after Novogrudok Castle. There is already something to see, restoration is in full swing. I will definitely go again when I can walk through the rest of the ruins

The ruins are under construction. Therefore, everything is fenced, there is a turnstile to get closer, there is also no way around the ruins - it is fenced. A civil parking lot was made nearby, free of charge, without a barrier, but it cannot be used after 7 pm. A guard comes and throws you out. He suggests parking somewhere on the side of the road or on the lawn. In short, you can only go to these ruins at strictly defined hours, this must be taken into account when planning your route
The territory has been improved very well. The restoration, of course, is fantastic, but at least it is not a European renovation like in Kosovo.... In principle, it's worth a look
Restoration is in full swing, a rather successful option: both the historical walls have been preserved, and part of them has been restored, "decorations", interiors, etc. have been added. There was a WC and entrance tickets)
An extra one is a grain dryer right next door 😑
It is currently in the process of restoration. You will not be able to enter the territory. But the ruins are very epic. I took off a star for the way to them. There are no signs on the road. You can only drive using the navigator.
Ruins! That's it! Not even that - fragments! That's exactly what it says on the information board next to the remains of the castle. There is practically nothing to look at. Some restoration work is underway now, but in fact a new model with "elements of the original" will be built.
It should be borne in mind that Monday is a day off. Therefore, neither the museum nor, unfortunately, the toilet works. For those traveling from afar, especially with children, the latter fact is very sad.
It is very good that they did not restore it completely, but partially preserved it. It was quite interesting that they decided to make metal decking and stairs that can be used to climb or descend into the former basement. On the one hand , they improved , made tiles and a lawn , but on the other hand, overgrown... I don't even know what, but with bottles and other garbage.
There's nothing to look at. Only for views from the tower to the sea (for those who get high from it). Most. It is supposedly under reconstruction, but judging by the passport of the facility, it ended a year ago, and the changes are minimal. Scaffolding is everywhere. Plus, they replenish the treasury by 2 rubles per visit.
There are a couple of expansions in the tower, but very indistinctly.
If the trip here is a detour for you, then skip it. You won't lose anything.
After the restoration, it became very similar to the castle, you can safely walk inside and climb to the observation deck. It is better to book the tour in advance by phone. We liked it)
