Even if it is a ruin. But there are platforms and observation ladders made for inspection. Everything is frozen. The approaches are paved. Everything is neat. It is immediately obvious that this is a tourist attraction.
Terrible administration. The entrance was 2 rubles , then 3 rubles .For which 3 rubles, but there is nothing to just look at the village from above, walk through the ruins. They are sent away 7 minutes after entering, referring to another tour that arrived, did not have time to see anything.
Something has been preserved in the ruins. Something has been restored. Observation decks and expositions were equipped in the renovated premises.
Entrance is paid, but there is a problem. And that's not the cost. It is impossible to pay for the entrance there (the toilet is also paid) with a bank card. Cash only. Keep this in mind.
They are doing reconstruction, the parking lot has been restored, it has become very pleasant to come there
Sometimes there are different events
Very beautiful!
We have been here many times, and we will come again. In recent years, reconstruction has begun. Previously, the ruins were not fenced, it was possible to walk on them, which led to their even greater destruction. There are questions about the reconstruction of the transparent roofing material, which was used to steal the walls of the castle. The solution is of course so-so, spoils the view. An interesting place and the nature around.
Unfortunately, the ancient walls are repaired with modern bricks, which makes it look just miserable. Cerberus in the form of an employee in a blue uniform (possibly private security) in the parking lot is rude
I liked that the ruins were "equipped": ladders and a "floor" made of mesh, as if you were walking around the castle itself. You can climb the ladder to the very top of the tower. The view from there is very beautiful. Admission is free. If you want to get inside the tower, you can get in for a fee with a guide (we did not go).
Convenient Parking and a neat area around.
There is already something to see. It's worth stopping by. Be sure to provide the service of a guide, excellent storytellers

I recommend it, it is very atmospheric, especially after reading the work of V. Korotkevich. The cost of visiting this castle is symbolic and in any case worth it.
We have made a paid entrance to the ruins themselves! To be honest, just going into a couple of rooms that don't represent anything is such a good idea! The only plus is the willingness to pay for the fact that the territory was put in order, everything is neat and well maintained! The metal decking has been made, you can climb up and look at all the beauty from above! By the way, the toilet was made, and also paid))) they even paid for the child)
The place is steeped in history. The ticket costs only 2 rubles, you can go upstairs for a review, some rooms have been preserved, it's a pity that there are not very many
The ruins are also very interesting, and are currently partially reconstructed.it is always interesting to touch the history of your native country. And in such places it is also atmospheric to do it!

Excellent historical location, well-maintained Parking, toilet, cheap tickets. Restoration and conservation work continues
The settlement of Golshany with a wooden castle has been known from chronicles since the 13th century. The stone castle was built in the early 17th century. By this time, most of the defense purpose was carried out by ramparts and ditches, and the castle had more living quarters. The richest Sapieha owned it, they collected an extensive library, filled the castle with various luxuries. There were even three artificial lakes on the territory, the bottom of which was tiled. The owners of the castle changed, and it itself fell into disrepair and collapsed. After the war, the surviving walls were dismantled for the construction of cattle yards and warehouses. Now it's just ruins, which might not be worth writing about, however... The name of the castle definitely served as the source for the title of the book "Black Castle Olshansky" by the Belarusian writer Vladimir Korotkevich. The book is very good and interesting, although it is not a documentary history of the Golshansky castle. This is a detective story in which modernity is intertwined with the Middle Ages.

Be sure to take a guide!!! It will be very interesting. Anya just climb the rocks.
The place is beautiful, but it is not worth going there exclusively, in our opinion
The employee is very intrusive, trying to "sell" the passage to the tower with a fireplace to everyone, although the main value is the ruins
themselves. P.S. you can't take animals with you (if it would be useful to someone))
It's beautiful, but not enough. I wish it had been restored more. The museum is not big. There is a paid toilet, but if you took a ticket to visit the museum, then it is free.
One of the restored architectural monuments to visit. The only thing is that the cashier is on the side and the person, not knowing, goes to the castle, and the cashier then runs after the visitors so that they would return and pay.
The preserved walls of the castle have been strengthened and ladders have been built. You can climb to the very top and admire the ruins from a height, excellent
Curious, but no more. Admission is 2 rubles. 1 tower has been restored. The rest is ruins. Work is underway. There are building materials and tools around.
If you are passing nearby, you can stop by, it is not worth it, you were on a holiday, the ticket office is closed, the toilet is closed.. Very strange
A historical place. It's not worth going on purpose, it's just the beginning of the restoration. But if you are in those places, then by all means take a look. One tower has been restored, the rest is the ruins of the castle. But they are also fascinating.
