Impressive ruins, a small exhibition. You can look in. For children, there is an animation with a treasure hunt, as I understand it. A souvenir shop with delicious gingerbread.
The first museum that is designed as an observation deck. There is not much to see, but it makes a very pleasant impression. Everything is neat, inspection without unnecessary spies. Everything is created in a modern trend.
The castle in Golshany is a very beautiful place, which is definitely worth visiting. After the restoration, one tower was opened in the castle, which can be climbed and viewed from a height on the agro-town of Golshany, the rest of the castle is under restoration. There is Parking for cars, a toilet, a small shop and a cash desk where you can buy souvenirs, an entrance ticket costs only 3 BEL. rubles. I highly recommend you to visit👍👍👍
Very cool, my dad did well. There is a minus - all the inscriptions are in Belarusian. To my question: how will tourists read this? It would be nice if it was still in English, but this is not there!! I'm not talking about Russian. The answer was: "... some tourists had no problems with the Belarusian language...". Did they learn this from their neighbors interestingly? Things will go far))))
Watch and cry. The ruins of the historical castle have not been preserved, but thoroughly renovated with new masonry and plaster, as well as some art objects of a fearsome appearance, mummers in synthetic suits walk around. In short, this is a la Belarusan for tourists. It is possible that this is the only way to save a historical object from complete destruction, but somehow it's all sad. On the back side of the castle there is a small hill with remnants of brickwork, on which you can sit, drink tea, look at the ruins, as well as at the pretty surrounding landscapes.
It is a cultural and historical place, a large territory, and it is beautiful around. During my visit, repairs were carried out inside the building, but it's still beautiful inside.
A beautiful place, everything is clean and tidy, I recommend you to visit.

The castle is very beautiful, next to it there are picturesque views of the surrounding area. Restoration is underway, but the 1st tower is almost done. It has several rooms where you can take photos and sit on the throne :) The entrance is very cheap, but there is very little to see there. But the place is very beautiful!
At the moment, restoration is actively underway. Considering that little has been preserved, the work ahead is enormous. In its updated form, the castle promises to be an interesting and beautiful point to visit
I was here 10 and 15 years ago. There were just ruins. Now the reconstruction is underway. It is gentrified around, there is a parking lot, a shop, a clean free toilet. Yes, there are free sockets in the parking lot. I advise you to visit, an excellent route is being built. If you move from Minsk towards Lida, etc.
It is good that the state is restoring such historical monuments. Children need to know their history! I really liked it, we would rather restore the rest of the castle!
The feeling is twofold. On the one hand, it's good that they're trying to do something. On the other hand, everything is rolled up in metal and plastic. There's nothing to look at yet. We spent about 15 minutes. I don't understand what they show people who come from afar on an excursion?
One of the business cards of this city and the Republic of Belarus. Large Parking, toilet . Of the minuses , there are not many signs that are not correctly positioned . And the biggest disadvantage is if you arrive earlier than working time, say at 8:30 , then you will be kicked out of there. Insanity since you can't park in it without lying.
I advise you to take a look, a lot has been restored and work continues. If you look closely, you can see the heating of the castle in the old days, the air ducts. One tower has been restored .
We were here for the celebration of the Kupala - an excellent program, well-maintained territory (toilets, paths, lighting). The castle is under reconstruction, but the observation deck on the only tower is already working (admission is 3 rubles).
Restoration is in progress, the area nearby is well maintained, there is a toilet, friendly staff at the ticket office. It takes no more than 30 minutes to inspect the entire complex, but it's worth it.
That's great. And it should be even better. To make an interesting place out of the ruins, you really need to be able to do it. And ghosts!!! Very worth a visit. And be sure to buy a gingerbread.
I recommend a guided tour, although the restoration is in the initial stage, but it is already interesting. The area around is landscaped for 5 with a huge plus: paths, lawns, toilet, cafe. The staff is interested, I wish them good luck! Ticket 3 BR
Delight! These are my favorite ruins! Since 2015, this is the third or even the fourth visit. Again, they are too modernized during reconstruction. But they're still good! Seeing the ruins of the Golshansky castle for the first time, the book "Ivanhoe", read in childhood, instantly surfaced in my memory. Anyone who has read it will probably understand. I recommend visiting soon, before the ruins are completely closed by restoration!)) It is very beautiful and interesting!!!
It's not really ruins anymore. The castle is being restored, while the color is somewhat lost, but the existing exposition is funny. You get a unique pleasure from the opportunity to go down and climb up into the tower, survey the surroundings, see ghosts. It is a pity that a new agricultural complex has been built nearby, which prevents you from fully enjoying the feeling of the Middle Ages.
I fell in love with this place at first sight. This castle was our eighth on the way, but it made the strongest impression. Perhaps because before the trip I read "The Black Castle of Olshansky" by Vladimir Korotkevich! And perhaps thanks to the story of the hostess of Galshanskai siadziba, Larisa, about the castle, about the Golshans themselves. It's been a long time since I've heard people talk so lovingly about the place where they live! It's more common to hear dissatisfaction(
Yeah,...What to say...it seems to be being restored, and so these workers believe that this restoration will end soon and they will see this castle as it should be...but, honestly, I want to cry. Why don't we have the money for this? Why? Why don't we appreciate and watch our own? And we are rushing to an unknown place, so that we can pay money for other people's ruins and not small ones. The territory is very large! And they try to watch everything, but they just need money here...I really want to believe that this castle will be resurrected! And to give this place even more mystery and magnetism...those bushes were so eager to go straight to cut down...They were so in the way...but! I liked it the most, you know what, the wind! Yes, it was the wind, or rather the sound of the wind on the 3rd floor, the shutters were cracked and the wind was humming... that was creepy...and if you see a ghost in the evening, you will definitely see it...and show your imagination and generally shit your pants....and so in general, everything is very modest. We believe that it will be restored!
The second time here, the first time when I came, there was complete devastation, a garbage dump inside. And now well done, we have made a museum, an observation deck. I advise you to visit
To get to the observation deck, you need to buy tickets, but they are not expensive. The view, of course, is beautiful. And you can also feel this atmosphere of Korotkevich here. After all, this is the same "black castle Olshansky"
A beautiful place, the tower was restored and a small museum was made. The area around was put in order. The entrance ticket is not expensive. I hope the whole castle will be restored someday.
To be honest, despite the noticeable efforts of people restoring the castle and the good landscaping of the surrounding area, there is not much to see there. Against the background of Lida Castle, Mirsky or Nesvizh, Golshansky is like a mini-version that you will see in a maximum of 15 minutes. But still, the place is beautiful and it's worth visiting if you're nearby. There is no point in going there purposefully, but as a stop along the way, it is a pleasant place.
There is no need to go on purpose. You can see the tower with three rooms and the basement. There are few exhibits, there is nowhere to wander near some kind of factory.
At the moment, on 02/28/2023, only three rooms have been restored, which are located directly on the 3rd floors of the tower - basement 1 and 2 floors. There are not many exhibits there and there is not much to see, as we were assured on the spot, the restoration continues and I hope more rooms will open soon and more stories of this castle will be told.
The price for a tour per person is 3 rubles, there is a toilet and a stall with souvenirs, and there is also a small 4-legged friend who was nicknamed after the owner of this castle, very original and funny.
Passing by, I visited the ruins of the Golshansky castle... it was very impressive that the castle was being restored and I really want to believe that soon the castle will open its doors to all concerned tourists
It was a little late. The castle itself, where you can walk, was closed. There was no big trouble, since in principle it can be bypassed from the side and see about everything. I was also pleased with the equipped parking lot, where, in principle, everything was present for tourists.
Before you go, read the legends of the Golshansky castle))) we were passing through late at night and I'll tell you the nerves tickled a lot))) I advise you to visit this place

thank you for restoring the old days, it's worth stopping by and taking a look, walking up the stairs, entering the tower, walking around, looking at the photos on the stands
