You can't leave this place without souvenirs and hungry. The richest selection of souvenirs and at the same time at an affordable price (we have not yet met lower in Georgia). An amazing little cafe with the most delicious khachapuri boat is also located in this place. An excellent and varied selection of fruits and vegetables, as well as all sorts of things for tourists to use (from suitcases to beach towels). All the sellers are very friendly and positive, which I also really liked.

By the way, the wine and chacha that they sell there is not worth buying, then there is still swill. Wine should be taken only in bottles in stores or homemade only from friends. I took off one star for the fact that there is zero in terms of cleanliness and order. However, this is the norm for Georgians, as I understand it. But this disadvantage is covered by the generosity and hospitality of this people.

A large market with a good selection of goods. Spice stalls are difficult to count (with different prices). A good selection of souvenirs (magnets for 2024 cost 2 GEL each). There is a large stall with wine (it is better not to buy wine without tasting). But I do not recommend buying fruits. Only grapes were eaten from a large bag of fruits, everything else was green or rotten inside.

If you want to see a real simple market, and not the fashionable name of the Market, you are here. It has the same atmosphere as 50-100 years ago, only the counters are being modernized. Although, in my opinion, everything here is at least from the time of the USSR. The smells are fascinating, as well as the variety and layout of the goods. Be sure to eat khachapuri to the right of the main entrance to the covered pavilion, which is prepared at home with real ones. The most delicious in two weeks of our stay in Georgia, and wherever we ate them, from cafes to restaurants.

But it is better to buy seasonings by weight, rather than packaged. It turns out to be much cheaper this way. For example, 1 kg of suneli costs 7 lari, and in packages of 1-1.5 lari 50 gr.

You can park for free near the market opposite. You may have to walk 200 m.
There are also sellers on the rails. You can also get fruits and vegetables there cheaper than anywhere else. Example: sweet and sour pomegranates for 4 GEL. There are 10 at the entrance and in the shops.
On the second floor there are chickens, meat, cheeses and milk. I didn't like anything that was taken on the second floor.
But there is a good fish near the market. Fresh fish similar to sea bass, but half the size, costs 16 lari / kg. It's delicious to cook with herbs. From a wild catch. There is a Turkish one, but from fish farms.

And then one day I found a very nice woman from whom I bought everything I needed at once. I was satisfied with the quality at home, but... When I came the second time, some of the potatoes were put rotten, the third time I voiced it to her, the potatoes were chosen more carefully, I did not check for the rest, as a result, onions and carrots were almost immediately thrown away... After that, we decided to go to the store again, since there was something like a farmer's shop next to the house.
There are a lot of sweets on the second floor, they bought honey, churchkhela, marshmallows and gifts there, among others. There is also fresh meat and cheese on the second floor.
