This is without exaggeration the best fish restaurant! Last year it was a small restaurant, not very touristy, but this year a new beautiful hall was opened and now there is live music, songs and dances! If you want silence, you can choose a gazebo or a quiet garden) the place is huge! The waiters are very fast! The fish is super fresh! And all the food is delicious, and the portions are large! The only disadvantage is the price for trout, sturgeon is indicated for 1 kg - which sturgeon will be caught and counted. So it's better to go to this place in a big company! Draught wine is for an amateur, we took bottled wine and were very pleased! Another plus is that you can come here and just buy fresh fish, if desired, it will be cleaned for you.
This is simply the best fish restaurant we have visited in Adjara. It was very unexpected to find out that in such a small town as Kobuleti, there is such a wonderful place. Honestly, I have never eaten such delicious fish either in Batumi or, in general, in Georgia.
The dishes here are very tasty. We managed to try fish, kebab, kebab, ostri, Georgian salad, khachapuri in Adjarian style, fruits. The freshest fish is cooked over fire, and it turns out to be perfect, juicy. The cost is much cheaper than in Batumi restaurants near the fish market. And tastier, of course!
Besides the delicious food, it's worth going here because of the atmosphere. There are many areas where you can book a table: inside the restaurant, on the terrace, in the gazebo, tables in the walnut grove. There is also an artificial waterfall outside, which murmurs pleasantly, and the decoration is all made of wood. There is a feeling that you are somewhere in the tropics.
As far as I understand, live music is played every day, a man and a woman sing live. You can even order a song from them. Or just dance on the dance floor.
Of the cons:
- the staff does not always speak English or Russian well, but, in general, you can always poke your finger at the items on the menu, they will understand you; K
- as for me, the music sometimes plays a little loud;
- the bathroom outside is not always tidy;
- the Kakhetian homemade wine in the decanter is not very good, it looks more like wine diluted with water.
But all this is forgotten after you taste their fresh and delicious fish. I highly recommend this place!
Not only the fish restaurant, the menu is very diverse. The kitchen cooks great, great fellows. The service is at a high level and friendly. We had a table outside, so the ants were constantly trying to have dinner with us. It was possible to move into the room, but it's so beautiful here that you can do it with ants.
A very beautiful, sincere institution! We were here in 2022 and returned again. A good, large selection of dishes. I'm presenting the menu. Fresh fish will be caught and cooked for you with great pleasure. Very very tasty! 😋👌🏼❤
The best restaurant of all that is in Kobuleti. The menu is extensive, the service is instant, the dishes are cleaned and the hospitality is all at the highest level. The prices are amazing. Live music, views, just a fairy tale. I highly recommend it.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. There are no options — so far the best fish restaurant in Adjara, at least in the Batumi district. The fish is not only the freshest (it is grown right there in huge pools), but it is also amazingly cooked. The atmosphere is also pleasant: there are a lot of places, a beautiful waterfall, cozy tables. In general, I highly recommend it!
I've never written reviews, but now I've decided it's time.
We visited Sakalmakhe yesterday. Previously, we often stopped by to buy live fish. And so I wanted to have a delicious dinner with a full range of fish.
We decided to order:
1) assorted fish (160 GEL for 5 types of fish (flounder/mullet/dorado/sea bass/horse mackerel)=for four people)
2) crabs
+3) khachapuri-adjaruli "without dough", etc.
About the assorted waiter said that there is no lamb, but they can only replace it with sargan (the cheapest fish and obviously not a substitute for lamb). He left to fulfill the order.
Then he came back and said that dorado and sea bass were also missing. But they brought a lamb.
We changed the entire order for lamb and flounder, and the assorted dishes were canceled.
We sit and wait.
They bring a lamb with the words "but there is no flounder."
I'm a little shocked.
We are sitting and chewing a lamb. Another 10 minutes pass. "And there are no crabs either." How not? Didn't we even ask you to specify their size? And you went to the kitchen and found out. They even said how many pieces there would be in a serving!
Longing.....
Ajaruli was specially ordered without a raw egg on top. They warned that a raw egg is not allowed for a person!
They brought it with an egg. Then the waiter yelled, saying, "you asked without an egg."
I brought the same boat 10 minutes later, but with a picked egg. And he didn't even hide it!!! "Yes, I just pulled it out and sprinkled cheese on top." We're just in shock, to be honest.
I'm not saying that the glasses smell like hell of fish, and the plates with food stuck to the edges were asked to be replaced even before eating ...
(Container -2 GEL). We collected the cats' heads)
It was a ruined evening and dinner. And I wanted to eat delicious fish.
One of the most exciting and luxurious places on the coast. Good live music. The kitchen is good. Beautifully done, there is a place to take a photo. The evening will be unforgettable. The price tag is above average.
Well, the fact that one place burned down - I won't say anything , I'll start with the pros : interior and exterior , places with a view of the fishery , and correspondingly fresh fish - yes , they are good at this , the pros end there
Cons : we ordered a milk cocktail - they brought iced milk , yes, you heard right, there was no ice cream from the word at all
We ordered trout fish for one person , clarified , said about 300 grams , well , OK , 500 grams turned out to be in the receipt , but there was no smell of 500 grams , of course no one there began to swear. Bread is 7 lari , well, an ordinary flatbread , yeah , it's trash.
No one met, no one conducted, the waiter did not speak any Russian (OK, he does not have to) but in English, too , there is a feeling that they have not heard about the service and etiquette of the waiters , at least to answer banal questions. I could have put 0 - I would have . I SINCERELY DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED
The fish here is really very tasty and not expensive, but everything else about the food is very specific, there is not much from the menu, they ordered pickles, it was impossible to eat, the French fries are dry and the salad is very sour. The waiter did a good job trying to communicate with us in Russian, I like the service and the restaurant itself is very pleasant inside)
We have been to this institution twice (two days in a row)
On the first day, we were very impressed with the taste and serving of sturgeon!!! George served us, speaks excellent Russian, excellent wine is recommended for fish, based on the tastes of the guest! The waiting time for the order is no more than 30 minutes.
On the second day we tried salmon (the sturgeon was over), we expected the fish to be dry, and it turned out that way! The salad with nut dressing and Mexican potatoes are very tasty!
I highly recommend going to this place for sturgeon!
A very good restaurant. The fish is cooked delicious. If Georgians are walking, it's even more fun. In terms of celebrating a DR or some other event. The waiters are polite and attentive.
A fabulous restaurant with very tasty food. We celebrated my husband's anniversary, all the guests were very satisfied. And we've been there more than once, everything is very tasty and decent, the portions are large.
A very cool fish restaurant, now in a new design and layout. It has become more comfortable and modern, prices, as it seemed to me, have not been raised much. The place is shorter by 5 points.
You sit and wait for your order, and they tell you that this fish is over, after 10-20 minutes, you make a new order, and then something ends again. The dishes are dirty. The glasses smell like fish. But when they brought khachapuri with an egg (and we asked without an egg), they simply took it out with their hands and mixed the cheese into the minced meat so that it could not be seen that it had been taken out. The dishes look like someone has already eaten... As a result, they ate what they had, but from the dirt (they asked to change both the plate, fork, and glass) it was not very pleasant. Plus it's a long time. The invoice "liked" the container for 2 GEL.
In the middle of nothing and suddenly such a beautiful place! They bring it quickly, the fish is wonderful, khachapuri too. One wish is to make a menu with photos of dishes or at least a description of the composition. Because if you don't know the names of the national cuisine, you have to Google everything, and the waiters don't even speak English well to explain)
Terrible service. The waiters don't even want to answer basic questions. We ordered fish, brought 3 servings, 7kg in the receipt!!!! A 7kg serving is for how many people? By 15??? They cheated on the bill... the food was half-cooked, the fish was rubber ((( the waiter should be reminded about the existence of glasses and napkins. Sometimes the waiter just ignores you and leaves…
A very beautiful place and a great restaurant with reasonable prices and very tasty food. I was there for the first time two years ago, we were delighted! This year we went there specifically to eat salmon on coals. As a result, we ordered everything different again and ate too much. You can sit on the terrace or in the gazebos. There is also live trout and salmon swimming there, which will be cooked for you on coals. We ordered one for about 1.5 kg of salmon to be cooked there, and bought it with us for 4 kg, salted. The price of live fish is 22lari per kg. If you cook there, then about 40 per kilo.
An atmospheric place, its own fisheries in ponds, gazebos and tables around. We ordered trout, in my opinion it is a little over-dried. Inexpensive. The big minus is the sooo loud "live" music (we were on Friday evening), it is impossible to talk. It is not very clear why to make speakers at full volume, so that those sitting around have a headache. Keep this in mind when visiting. It's a great place without music.
Great place!
The food was very tasty and beautifully served. When ordering Mexican potatoes, the waiter specified how spicy to cook the dish.
The staff is very polite and smiling. The service is fast.
The interior is clean, beautiful, live music and Georgian dances are playing. I definitely recommend you to visit!
This restaurant has its own fishery: carp, trout, sturgeon and grilled dishes are simply magical, a very cozy garden with tables downstairs, and colorful gazebos. Minus a star for the unhurried service and the guys don't really know how to cook meat (they tried veal kebab and kebab) good wine in jugs :)
We were very satisfied with this restaurant🔥 Just wow! Friendly staff. The service is fast. Everything is very tasty. The fish is generally a separate topic of discussion. It is very beautiful. Music, wow❤ I still want to go there💃
The atmospheric place liked the service, the sturgeon was cooked superbly. Special respect to the waiter Irakli! I liked the local cognac. The time is normal. Well, a pool with fish. :)
The place is beautiful and delicious fish and homemade lemonade, the advantages end there, they brought the Shkmeruli almost empty, skin and bones, what was there is unknown. A thousand rubles is wasted.
In my opinion, 3 stars will be quite enough for this institution. We ordered grilled trout - quite good, fish like fish, that's what I expected. Then they brought ojahuri with chicken, it's just something. If you want to spoil your impression of this dish, you urgently need to take ojahuri with chicken. It feels like the meat and potatoes were cooked separately and then put on a plate. That's all, there's nothing else in this dish. 3 pieces of dry chicken kebab + potatoes. The absence of onions and other vegetables, apparently, is not a bug, but a feature) the meal is quite decent. Phali is for people who love seaweed and spinach. I will say it bluntly-I do not recommend phali, and I do not recommend it, I'm telling you for sure. And I pulled this khachapuri institution in Megrelian to three. It was unforgettable, if you want a really delicious MEGRELIAN khachapuri, you are welcome here.
Restaurant with a selection of live fish (sterlet, salmon) and live music. You choose the fish in the pool. I was pleasantly surprised that the meat there is also delicious. Prices are reasonable
Be sure to ask for the fish uncovered - deliciously delicious. Service is always the same - as relatives are accepted. Highly recommend it! And be careful with the Georgian salad - a nut shell comes across
Everything is very tasty. Fish swimming in the pool
They catch it for you and cook it on the grill.
The waiters are really without uniforms and badges, and at first you don't understand who to turn to
