We visited this recommended restaurant. There are many halls, and accordingly, seats. The setting is closer to a large good-quality cafe. The menu is sufficient, but not everything is available.
Now about the most important thing - about the kitchen.
Shurpa is very mediocre, not saturated and not "soulful". The chicken soup was not bad. Julienne, not quite julienne, coarsely chopped chicken fillet in a heavily salted but inexpressive sauce.
The loin of lamb, declared as stewed in pomegranate sauce, was not brought to readiness, it was difficult and incomplete to separate from the bones. It was complemented with French fries, shredded cabbage, green peas, orange slides and a daikon rose, which concealed (CAREFULLY, injury is possible) half a toothpick (to fasten the petals).
The only thing that was really delicious was the wonderful lamb ribs cooked on the grill. .

The Samarkand restaurant is excellent. There are many halls. According to the interior, one is better than the other. You can do it with music, you can do it without. You can sit on the summer porch. The lobby is just great. A good location. Extensive menu. Inexpensive in principle. You can celebrate a birthday, or you can just sit with your family. All the dishes are very tasty. A great family restaurant. There are 3 halls for every taste and color. The kitchen is wonderful, everything is delicious, fresh, the portions are large. The staff is friendly, courteous, attentive and very loyal.
The average check is about 200 thousand soums per person. There were 4 people in the company, they ate too much and took it with them, the bill came out 800 thousand soums (without alcohol). I recommend it both for dinner and for celebrating an event 👍

The Samarkand restaurant in the center of Samarkand is a great place where you can have a good evening, have fun and delicious. The restaurant is huge by my standards, 3 large halls, designed for a large number of people, but this does not affect the service, everything is done quickly and smoothly, the service is at its height. You can try all the variety of Uzbek cuisine, and there are dishes from other cuisines of the world. We ordered different meats, everything was delicious. The price tag is probably more expensive than in other establishments in the city, but much cheaper than in Restaurants in Russia. You can also dance in one of the halls. There is an opportunity to taste Uzbek wine in this restaurant. I recommend an excellent restaurant to visit. I would have come here again.

However, everything is mixed up there: the decor of the Russian village and life during the USSR period. But the menu is large, there is plenty to choose from. The portions are large and delicious. The waiters cleared away the dirty dishes pretty quickly. Only Uzbeks make very light tea, you have to ask them to brew it normally. This is definitely the best restaurant in Samarkand, it is the price-quality ratio. It's very tasty and inexpensive, well, at least in comparison with other restaurants we've been to. Dinner for two with hot, salad, two bottles of wine, dessert and tea cost 330000 soums, And this is the only restaurant where we returned twice. I definitely recommend it

We visited the restaurant on the first day of our stay in Samarkand, then of course we also found delicious and pleasant places, but the Samarkand restaurant remained at the proper level. We were sitting on the top floor and the music/dancing that was downstairs didn't bother us at all. The waiters are very polite, quick to react and know the menu. We ordered all kinds of kebabs, tea, wine, salad. Everything was very tasty, especially the barbecue)). Uzbek wine is worth a try, you won't regret it.

We found a table, gave the menu, for the first time I see that there are so many salad pages on the menu, it seemed that they specialize only in salads.

Salads are really delicious, but there are complaints about meat. The dish was barely warm, the meat was old and rubbery. The corn and peas on the side are so-so. After reading the reviews, someone was more lucky and they had French fries.
