I must say it is my favorite restaurant in Uzbekistan, I have been there three times, hence I live in Tashkent. The food is delicious and mouthwatering, the maza is outstanding, we ordered crispy Baklajon, cow tongue, green salad. As for the main course we had a group platter, fresh Sheesh and drinks. The prices are reasonable and affordable, in a nutshell a life time experience. Please remember to keep Tashkent clean, don't through garbage on the ground.
Best regards.
service is terrible, waiters don't pay any attention, we ordered mashed potatoes and shashlik, for some reason they brought the mashed potatoes before the shashlik, while we were waiting for the shashlik, the mashed potatoes got cold and stale, we regretted believing the reviews, I don't recommend
The wait was too long, waited 40 minutes for the order
The food isn’t worth it
The waiters never come to take the order like I wasn’t even there
Ужасное обслуживание, еда того не стоила, невкусно и дорого
Официанты вели себя так, как будто меня не видят вообще
We were here 2 times during the trip. Very tasty food, good service, large portions. I strongly advise you to try logman and shish kebab. The dishes are definitely worth the price.
Samarkan Restaurant is a place where we come back again and again. Excellent Uzbek cuisine, the dishes are prepared with love, the portions are large, and the prices are quite affordable. The service is top-notch, the waiters are attentive and courteous. I really like the atmosphere: the traditional interior, the national music and the special oriental comfort. And in summer it is especially pleasant here – there is a beautiful summer courtyard where you can enjoy the fresh air, delicious food and the atmosphere of real oriental hospitality. In addition to Uzbek cuisine, there are also European dishes on the menu, so every guest will find something to their liking.
Samarkand National Cuisine Restaurant: a taste of traditions
The Samarkand restaurant is not just a place for lunch or dinner, it is a real journey into the world of Uzbek cuisine and hospitality. Located in the heart of the ancient city, the restaurant combines tradition and modern comfort. Here you can enjoy the authentic taste of national dishes prepared according to ancient recipes. 🍽️
The restaurant's menu offers a variety that can impress any gourmet: fragrant pilaf, juicy shish kebab, manti with the finest dough, shurpa and mastava soups, as well as an incredible selection of fresh tortillas and sweets. Each ingredient is carefully selected to emphasize the uniqueness of Uzbek cuisine. 🥘
The interior of the Samarkand restaurant surprises with its refined atmosphere: traditional patterns, carved ornaments and cozy halls create a feeling as if you have plunged into the past. It is equally pleasant to spend time here for family meals and business meetings. 🎨
We offer not only the opportunity to enjoy culinary masterpieces, but also arrange a transfer from anywhere in the city to the restaurant. In addition, upon your request, we can include a visit to the Samarkand restaurant in the program of individual or group excursions around the city. Experience the taste of real Uzbekistan for yourself — leave the organization to us! 🚗✨
It's a lovely restaurant. It's fast, tasty, the service is pleasant, the check is average in the city.
Dancing in the main hall in the afternoon and evening 💃
Very authentic.
There are individual rooms.
Of the dishes I particularly liked: lamb quiche, dolma, chuchvara, lavash with meat filling. There is wine 🍷
Pilaf and samsa are custom-made banquet dishes, you can't order them at the moment.
There is a full landing in the evenings, but it is quite free during the day.
It has a very beautiful interior, several halls, a large one inside with only tables, another with music and a stage, booths. In general, for every taste, especially for tourists, we didn't like the food at all, as there were too many people, just hundreds of guests, everything was on stream.... it was fast, and not very tasty, we arrived at 8 p.m., and there was almost nothing to eat, it was over, because there were too many guests for the day, there were only 2 types of kebabs and a few salads, unfortunately. The waiters are great, they try their best, there are no complaints.
A family-run restaurant with excellent cuisine, the menu is amazing with a variety of dishes for every taste. The service was beyond praise, with a full load, the waiter managed to constantly not only bring our orders, but also keep the appliances and dishes on the table clean. There are several themed halls, we were at the national and that says it all. For fans of live music, artists perform at 19 o'clock, there is no longer a conversation at the table. There are also booths on the 1st and 2nd floors, it's quiet there. And most importantly, tables must be booked in advance, there is always almost 100% boarding.
The new hall is very cozy. The authentic decor against the background of birdsong is simply relaxing. The menu is rich and interesting. There is coffee to choose from, the portions are good, the meat is juicy and delicious. The service is a bit lame. Most likely, students are working part-time, tired and sleepy. Not everyone knows Russian and English. Prices are acceptable, if without booze, then 100-150 thousand per person.
A wonderful restaurant, atmospheric. It's very beautiful, like in the Oai corner. The service, the serving of dishes and the food are at the highest level. Nice, helpful waiters. We ordered manti, lula, shish kebab, snacks, some kind of national soup with noodles and chickpeas. Everything is very tasty, there is a lot of everything. I had to take the leftovers with me. Definitely would have come back again
The coolest restaurant that we visited during our trip to Uzbekistan!
Delicious food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere inside.
I recommend you to visit if you want to have a delicious meal and taste high-quality Uzbek cuisine!
I would recommend the Vesuvius dish separately, I enjoyed it very much! I am attaching a photo.
A good restaurant at affordable prices. The music is very loud on the ground floor, so if you want to chat, then you will go to the second floor - the Russian hall. However, everything is mixed up there: the decor of the Russian village and life during the USSR period. But the menu is large, there is plenty to choose from. The portions are large and delicious. The waiters cleared away the dirty dishes pretty quickly. Only Uzbeks make very light tea, you have to ask them to brew it normally. We asked about wi-fi, so the waiter distributed the Internet from his phone, turned off the sound and his phone was on our table for the whole dinner so that we could have Internet. Thank you very much for this attitude.
Of all the places we've been to in Samarkand, this is probably going to be in the first place, leading the top three ranking;) A huge restaurant with different halls, there is an open-air restaurant, there is a hall with music and dancing, there is a hall - you sit in a garden with birds singing, in the evening, of course, there are a lot of people and a cool restaurant, and by the way, there were a lot of tourists. But there are also many locals with families. Service - you can't find fault. The prices are pleasant, for 3 servings of meat, 2 salads, local wine (yes, they make wine in Uzbekistan), tea and bread, they paid 500,000 sums, or about 3,500 rubles. In general, if you want to fully immerse yourself in the local flavor and have a delicious meal, this is our full recommendation.
Guys, this place is a must-visit in Samarkand.… What these guys waiters bring is not just delicious, it's divine, and these guys don't walk, but fly, literally, near you like "helicopters", but you don't notice it. You are simply immersed in the atmosphere of a holiday called SAMARKAND... It doesn't matter how much it costs you anymore... but it's not more expensive than other establishments of this level... MANY THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF.
We visited this recommended restaurant. There are many halls, and accordingly, seats. The setting is closer to a large good-quality cafe. The menu is sufficient, but not everything is available.
Now about the most important thing - about the kitchen.
Shurpa is very mediocre, not saturated and not "soulful". The chicken soup was not bad. Julienne, not quite julienne, coarsely chopped chicken fillet in a heavily salted but inexpressive sauce.
The loin of lamb, declared as stewed in pomegranate sauce, was not brought to readiness, it was difficult and incomplete to separate from the bones. It was complemented with French fries, shredded cabbage, green peas, orange slides and a daikon rose, which concealed (CAREFULLY, injury is possible) half a toothpick (to fasten the petals).
The only thing that was really delicious was the wonderful lamb ribs cooked on the grill. .
I recently visited the Samarkand restaurant in the heart of the city, and I was very impressed! This place perfectly combines a traditional atmosphere and modern service. The interior of the restaurant is designed in the style of oriental luxury, with elements of Samarkand architecture, which creates a cozy and atmospheric atmosphere.
We visited in June 2024. The table was reserved in the courtyard. And it was the right decision, because the music was playing very loudly in the hall, and it was quite comfortable to communicate in the courtyard. The additional coolness was created by the wet fog system. Everyone liked the dishes. Very tasty. Nothing from the menu was on the stop list, although there was a full board in the establishment. Not all the waiters speak Russian, but any issue was promptly resolved. For the first time, during our trip to Uzbekistan, they did not try to short-count us or add something extra to the bill. But the toilet, to put it mildly, was not very good, but, again, this is a common problem of establishments in the region. You just have to be prepared for this.
The Samarkand restaurant in the center of Samarkand is a great place where you can have a good evening, have fun and delicious. The restaurant is huge by my standards, 3 large halls, designed for a large number of people, but this does not affect the service, everything is done quickly and smoothly, the service is at its height. You can try all the variety of Uzbek cuisine, and there are dishes from other cuisines of the world. We ordered different meats, everything was delicious. The price tag is probably more expensive than in other establishments in the city, but much cheaper than in Restaurants in Russia. You can also dance in one of the halls. There is an opportunity to taste Uzbek wine in this restaurant. I recommend an excellent restaurant to visit. I would have come here again.
A large modern city. But with beautiful ancient sights. A good place for tourism and new experiences. With a guided tour, you can go around all 5 sites in 1 day. But if possible, prolong the pleasure. But the pleasure is not cheap. Entrance to each place is paid. It is much more expensive for foreigners than for Uzbek citizens.
It's a very beautiful restaurant, it's like going to a museum. There are vases everywhere, carpets, unusual lanterns, and cages with birds. The food is also delicious. wine is cheaper than in the store per bottle. Together with a bottle of wine, which they then took away with them, and some of the dishes that they could not eat, they paid 1,700 rubles. 15% of the service is immediately included in the bill
It's elegant, the birds are singing alive. The kitchen is decent. There were the most delicious pastries of all that we came across in Samarkand. And the tea is just great! The waiters are perhaps even too attentive, you just turned away, and your plate was already replaced with a clean one. There was live music and dancers in one of the halls, a very beautiful performance.
We visited various restaurants in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. This restaurant is probably the best of all. Atmospheric, delicious, beautiful, clean, spacious. Attentive and friendly staff. A short pitch.
I celebrated my birthday on 18.02, there are no complaints about the kitchen-everything is very tasty, everything is fresh, the waiters quickly brought the order. We had a great birthday party, but when paying the bill, it turned out that the cake was included in the bill)) we ordered a local dry white wine, and when we ordered the second bottle, it was different from the first one for the worse! The waiter replaced it without any problems and did not include it in the bill! The music is mostly local, cheerful, and you can order your own songs!
A great family restaurant. There are 3 halls for every taste and color. The kitchen is wonderful, everything is delicious, fresh, the portions are large. The staff is friendly, courteous, attentive and very loyal.
The average check is about 200 thousand soums per person. There were 4 people in the company, they ate too much and took it with them, the bill came out 800 thousand soums (without alcohol). I recommend it both for dinner and for celebrating an event 👍
It's a very cozy and delicious place. A must-visit. The portions are good, everything is very tasty. We were sitting on the second floor in the Russian Hall. There are stuffed animals there, the child was delighted with the goat.
Live music is played on the ground floor. It's a beautiful place.
The Samarkand restaurant is excellent. There are many halls. According to the interior, one is better than the other. You can do it with music, you can do it without. You can sit on the summer porch. The lobby is just great. A good location. Extensive menu. Inexpensive in principle. You can celebrate a birthday, or you can just sit with your family. All the dishes are very tasty. The Samarkand dessert was very pleasant and served quickly. Wonderful lighting works in the evening. There is a parking lot. I recommend those who will be in Samarkand to visit
A huge restaurant, many halls. The menu has 50 pages.... including sushi. There are a lot of banquets. Overall, it's delicious and good. But the waiters are focused on banquets and don't really pay attention to 3 separate visitors... Requires configuration.
And yes, the toilets are not respectable at all for such an institution...
