The place is very colorful and atmospheric, but not by 5 points.
The receipt includes 15% service, but they didn't take away a single plate for an hour and a half of our stay here.
Also included is an open bottle of water, which I didn't really want to drink, because it was open before our arrival.
And a kettle of tea is immediately served, which is also included in the price. Doubtful, but okay. Although guests may have tea intolerance)
The menu was not served for a long time. and several times they ignored the request to bring the bill.
The portions are huge, but some of the food is too salty. There is no pilaf, I read in the reviews that a pre-order for pilaf is needed.

We had dinner at the Samarkand restaurant today. After reading the contradictory reviews, we were skeptical, but apparently we don't have to do it once. The service was excellent. They didn't even notice that the glasses were empty, the waiters filled them without asking. The dishes were brought quickly enough: salads in 10 minutes, hotter in 20 minutes, drinks immediately. Beef and loin meat were the most tender, I did not eat this in Moscow. Everyone liked the salads too. The only thing is, I ordered a salad with pinocchio, the tomatoes were ordinary, tasteless, there were no delicious Uzbek ones, but I heard that they all export them, but I really wanted to. Otherwise, I liked the kitchen. We were sitting in the main hall, the music was loud, local, but we just wanted that kind of atmosphere. Those who were uncomfortable were transferred to closed booths. The interior is closer to the cafe. In general, we were satisfied, since we can go.

The interior is ordinary, the tablecloths on the tables are not the first freshness, the menu is really big. Visiting the Samarkand restaurant became for me a true journey into the world of Uzbek cooking. From the very first minutes, you feel at home here, thanks to the warm welcome and cozy atmosphere. The interior is made in the best traditions of Oriental style, which adds a special charm.
The menu impresses with a variety of dishes, each of which is a work of culinary art. Separately, I would like to highlight the pilaf - it was simply amazing, with a perfect combination of spices and flavors. Kebabs melted in your mouth, and fresh salads perfectly complemented the main dishes.
The service at Samarkand deserves special praise - the staff is attentive, helpful and really takes care that every guest is satisfied.

I liked it the most from the food places in Samarkand that we visited. A wide range of dishes with a moderate budget. For two with dessert, about 150k soums came out (without alcohol), but with 15% included in the bill. It is better to be located on the ground floor, it is more fun there - a lot of locals come in large companies and families. At about 19.00, the music program begins - a guy and a girl alternately sing songs in Uzbek and Russian. There is a smaller hall on the second floor, where the atmosphere is quieter. MIR cards are not accepted for payment here or anywhere else in Samarkand.

It's a very atmospheric place. "Expensive bAgato"))))) We were covered very quickly, the place was not given in the corner, in general, the initial impression was good. There are a lot of people, even a queue on the street to enter. For me, this is an indicator, they will not stand in a bad place. The food is normal, the prices... probably above average. There are restaurants and more expensive ones.
The second time we came to the same restaurant, because the reserved table in another restaurant turned out to be on the street ...
We were in a booth on the second floor. The door opens onto a large banquet hall downstairs. With the door closed, the music is not so loud, but there is almost nothing to breathe, the ventilation did not work.
Very beautiful dishes (exactly for this interior and atmosphere), but it is worth paying attention to cleanliness. The staff hardly knows Russian, so they either bring what they did not order, or they are looking for a Russian-speaking employee.
There is no dispute about tastes, but we liked the place. That's why we've been here 2 times.
