Recommend. There is a large selection of dishes, they cook delicious. Prices are reasonable, as everywhere else. The waiters are friendly, the receptionist is experienced and competent. The hall is beautiful, there are places on the street, booths, a smoking room. On Friday, we were, in my opinion, very good singers performed - a guy and a girl, although if you sit in the main hall, it will be very loud.
If the women's toilet is expanded and modernized, then it will be absolutely perfect

A huge restaurant, mostly for groups. There are separate offices for 4-10 people. The food is local and everything is delicious. Several banquet halls. The main hall has 200 tables. From ordering to serving food 40-60 minutes - as everywhere in Uzbekistan.
The service is as good as possible in such a place) In Russian, as everywhere, they speak with some difficulty and it is not always clear whether they understood you or not.

It is decorated in Russian-Ukrainian style. But on the second floor they smoke right in the hall. This is a minus. Any alcohol is no problem (this is far from all establishments in Uzbekistan).

We decided to leave, but asked the waiter if there were other places, it turned out that there were. The girl who met us for some reason did not want to put us there. As a result, the receptionist had a fight with the waiter, and we were offered another place. They moved. Since I have a fairly serious allergy to walnuts, I always carefully read the composition of the dishes. They brought a salad with nuts, which were not declared. It was quite problematic to return it. First, several waiters were replaced, the receptionist said that they could not pick up. Which is strange. A self-respecting restaurant can't afford that. I wonder if the undercooked meat would have been served, too, can't it be returned? As a result, the salad was taken away. Included in the bill. I had to ask them to remove it. It's good that we checked it out. In general, the food was delicious, except for the cabbage stalk in the vegetable salad. But we didn't fully enjoy it. The mood was gone. organizational issues certainly spoiled the impression. We took 2 salads, soup, several kebabs, olives, ice cream, potatoes, alcohol, tea. It turned out to be 2,400 rubles.

So, there are three halls in the restaurant. In the main and largest hall, the music is playing so loud that even if you yell, you won't hear anything. It's a nightmare. There is smoking in the upper hall. After Moscow, it's wild and extremely unpleasant. There are tables outside, but in March (when we were there) it's cold in the evenings. Yes, they give blankets, but it's not very pleasant to sit wrapped in a blanket. Another aspect is alcohol. For personal reasons, the owner of the restaurant said that he could only sell us beer or vodka (local). Despite the fact that both products are very decent, this approach causes a negative reaction. The restaurant is located in the very center of the city, the menu is varied, the cooking quality is good, the cuisine is not refined, but everything is quite tasty. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. There is a dance floor in the large hall, and fans of sitting in a quiet environment can easily do it in the Russian hall, where loud music does not reach at all. In summer, there is an opportunity to sit in a cozy courtyard, which is also quiet and comfortable. A very good restaurant! I liked everything! Except that it's not worth taking okroshka, but it seems that this is a common problem of Uzbekistan. It was thick kefir with vegetables and meat, but not okroshka. But it didn't spoil the mood at all, because all the steel was on top! I was surprised by the local red wine on the menu. The Samarkand restaurant is one of the WORST restaurants we have met in Uzbekistan!
Our journey through this beautiful country began with Sunny Tashkent, then Khiva, then Bukhara! Everywhere, all the anchor restaurants amazed us with delicious food and excellent staff.
But then we arrived in Samarkand…
And of course, in the evening it was necessary to have dinner, Yandex opened and the highest ratings at the Samarkand restaurant.
In fact, it is a TERRIBLE place with DISGUSTING cooked dishes.
1. They smoke right in the restaurant, it's hard for a non-smoker to breathe;
2. Salads do not have washed greens;
3. Salads are seasoned with mayonnaise sauces;
4. The restaurant is very dirty.
If we talk about the staff, then everything seems to be not bad. We were met by a steamed-up young man (this is understandable, the flow of people like us is huge), promised to plant and kept his word (THANKS here)
All dishes are prepared simply by piling into a plate, like piglets.
When you are in Samarkand, avoid this place.

Different waiters come to the table every time, listen to you and immediately run away to the back of the hall, after a minute or two they are already carrying someone's order with a tray, and your request with a blanket will wait. You call a second time, another waiter comes up, listens and disappears into the crowd of the teeming public, and the same thing is not for a blanket, but for an order. But at the next table, where the locals were sitting, a blanket was brought to everyone, and we barely got one for 4. Thanks to the next table, they either saw our surprised looks, or just out of the kindness of their hearts gave 2 blankets to us. We were very pleased. There is no unified order notification system, one waiter announced that due to the high workload our order would not be brought, offered another dish, after thinking, we decided not to wait, as we froze, passed the refusal to the waiter and in general another waiter brought us this dish with a poker face, which is the first time he hears about the cancellation. Rather, there is a connection between the waiters-a deaf phone. It was interesting to watch how you order, conditionally, to Timur, he immediately, after a step, tells it to Arslan, he takes 2 steps and passes your order to Amir, and Farhad will bring you the order at all. The cancelled dish, by the way, was put on the table with a facial expression-personally, "I don't know anything about the cancellation, so eat."
