We read a lot of positive reviews and came. I can tell you right away that I couldn't eat. The institution is aimed only at tourist groups, ordinary mortals from the street are not welcome, but they were imprisoned. Opening the menu, the first page is sushi, the second is burgers. Most of the items of national cuisine are made to order. It took a long time to accept the order, as a result it turned out that there is nothing from mutton in a restaurant with such a big name!!! We were shocked and just left. I do not advise anyone, except for a beautiful cover, there is nothing in this place.

The restaurant is highly overrated!
Dirty, burnt tablecloths, an ever-disappearing waiter, non-alcoholic cocktails (mojitos) just lemonade from a bottle and mint! The food is very mediocre, half of the dishes from the menu are simply not there ... after that, the restaurant was eaten in other establishments (for ethical reasons, I will not write the names) and realized that Uzbekistan is delicious food, but not in this institution for sure!
Among the advantages: lots of seats, clean toilet. That's it!

We came together - the waiters came in sometimes, once every twenty minutes - it's more interesting to serve large banquets. We tried different dishes - a maximum of four. The salad is just a full plate of mayonnaise. The steak is about nothing at all. The portions are large, but I don't want to finish them.

The salad was brought with solid vinegar.
The chicken kebab is sour, too, a lot of vinegar. I didn't like the dishes. There were a lot of people, it was very stuffy in the entrance hall, the roof was open, they did not offer a blanket. We wanted to have a farewell dinner. The impression is ruined.

We visited this restaurant with foreign guests for the first time (evening of May 30, 2024) and were horrified with such poor service.
The hostess yelled at us and at the receptionist for sitting at an untidy table and behaving aggressively and rudely. Further, the indifference and boorish conversation of the waiters shocked not only foreign guests, but also us locals. The plates are not wiped and half full of water. Two administrators were contacted for all claims.
Any desire to visit this restaurant has disappeared.
However, the food and the interior are excellent.

On the very first day of arrival in Samarkand, we were led to a review on the Internet that here is the most delicious pilaf in the city. In fact, there is no pilaf there and there will not be if you do not make an order in advance - 1 or several days in advance. They sell pilaf from 1 kg. I am not a healthy athletic man and I cannot eat as much as the administration of the Samarkand restaurant decides. Therefore, I will remember this institution in order not to get there again.
Since it was lunchtime, and we wanted to eat after arrival and accommodation at the hotel, we had to order what was there: manti, haravats and a roll of pita bread stuffed with diced tomatoes with meat. It wasn't particularly tasty. Upset.
I put 2, not 1, because the staff was polite, friendly, the waiter came quickly, cheerful Uzbek music was playing in the big hall, people started dancing.
The waiting time for dishes is 10-15 minutes.
The interior is beautiful.
A bathroom of 3 cabins is not suitable for such a large institution. There was always a queue, like at the Bolshoi theater during the intermission)) There were a lot of foreigners in the queue. I imagine their shock when, after entering the booth, they see in front of them not a modern plumbing device, but a bowl of Genoa))) Perhaps it was designed specifically so that people would additionally plunge into prehistoric times and understand the advantages of modern civilization)
