A great restaurant, with delicious food, and not much extra charge on alcohol. The oriental atmosphere is very well represented. So I recommend it especially to tourists.
A good place, the pilaf is average, they ate and tasted better, the waiters need to be kicked, they are very slow. The meat is delicious. In general, there are 4 more delicious places.
We were in February 2023, very noisy, a lot of people, the food is really delicious, the staff works smartly, but there are not many Russian speakers. I especially liked the local puff cakes) there are three floors, Music is playing on the ground floor, there is also a dance floor. The first floor is in national motifs, the second floor is in European, there are cabins, but it is better to book earlier, but do not expect that you will be understood in Russian)
This is a special place! The charming decoration of the hall. The huge hall is a great show. The kitchen is something special, a variety of dishes and a great presentation!Friendly service. I celebrated my half century in the Samarkand restaurant! When you arrive in Samarkand, visit the restaurant honorably named Samarkand!!!
We read a lot of positive reviews and came. I can tell you right away that I couldn't eat. The institution is aimed only at tourist groups, ordinary mortals from the street are not welcome, but they were imprisoned. Opening the menu, the first page is sushi, the second is burgers. Most of the items of national cuisine are made to order. It took a long time to accept the order, as a result it turned out that there is nothing from mutton in a restaurant with such a big name!!! We were shocked and just left. I do not advise anyone, except for a beautiful cover, there is nothing in this place.
It's a great place. A huge hall, cozy private rooms. Friendly staff and really a lot of waiters. Excellent service. Delicious, very tasty and delicious again. I'd probably love to come back here.
If you want to eat delicious food, listen to live music and dance, come here!!!!
The service is wonderful. The staff is dressed in national style, helpful.
Serving and decoration of dishes at the European level, but in a distinctive oriental style. I liked. I recommend it!
The restaurant is highly overrated!
Dirty, burnt tablecloths, an ever-disappearing waiter, non-alcoholic cocktails (mojitos) just lemonade from a bottle and mint! The food is very mediocre, half of the dishes from the menu are simply not there ... after that, the restaurant was eaten in other establishments (for ethical reasons, I will not write the names) and realized that Uzbekistan is delicious food, but not in this institution for sure!
Among the advantages: lots of seats, clean toilet. That's it!
I was impressed by the decoration, color, size of the halls and the choice. The prices are very reasonable for a tourist.
Delicious, beautiful, I recommend it)
The best service in Samarkand.
We were on the second floor, great atmosphere and very tasty. I do not recommend eating in tourist places, it is better to take a taxi to this restaurant
This is not a restaurant. Five because the people are kind, the food is homemade, it doesn't interfere, but we liked it. An original flavor. It's not expensive for us. 3 kg of fish per company (6 people) with salads and wine 5.5 tons
The service and attention to visitors are at the highest level, the dishes are very tasty and the prices here are not expensive, I liked everything, I Recommend it
A huge restaurant for celebrations.
Two halls: 1. loud with music and dancing on the ground floor.
2. "Russian" - quiet on the second floor.
The service is normal, the menu is very large
Some dishes are good, some are so-so.
I didn't like the meat, it was dry.
There is local champagne
On the recommendation of our guide, who lives in Samarkand, we visited the Samarkand restaurant, despite the full landing, we found seats in the courtyard.
We ordered salads, lamb kebab, soup for the child and dessert, everything was very tasty!
I recommend you to visit 100%
While in Samarkand, be sure to visit the Samarkand restaurant
The atmosphere, the staff and, of course, the menu is varied and prepared for the most demanding taste
Local wine and cognac can be tasted nearby at the winery
Must-visit!Oriental flavor, delicious food with fast cooking and excellent service. Beautiful decoration of the hall, polite and attentive staff. If you want silence, go upstairs to the booths, there is a large hall with live music downstairs. There are a lot of families with children on vacation. The exterior of the building is decorated with garlands in the shape of a large national flag. Don't go through! Thank you for the justified expectations! 👍
The best restaurant in Samarkand. The kitchen is very tasty, always fresh delicious food. Top-level service, live music every evening. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.
To be honest, I didn't quite understand why there were so many fives. The interior is beautiful, yes, there are no complaints here. We came together - the waiters came in sometimes, once every twenty minutes - it's more interesting to serve large banquets. We tried different dishes - a maximum of four. The salad is just a full plate of mayonnaise. The steak is about nothing at all. The portions are large, but I don't want to finish them.
We got to the restaurant on Saturday, miraculously there was a free table. Despite the huge number of guests, they were quickly served. There were dances, we plunged into the local flavor, who does not like this, there is a hall on the street and on the second floor.
We arrived at 20 o'clock . Half of the dishes are missing from the menu. There is nothing to order except hot kebabs.
The salad was brought with solid vinegar.
The chicken kebab is sour, too, a lot of vinegar. I didn't like the dishes. There were a lot of people, it was very stuffy in the entrance hall, the roof was open, they did not offer a blanket. We wanted to have a farewell dinner. The impression is ruined.
The advantages are great, we were advised at the Al-Medina hotel the atmosphere was at the highest level, the portions were normal, I recommend visiting all tourists ate for two 25 dollars in shekels about 100 ate as they ate like koloboks I recommend
It is considered the best restaurant in the city.
It has several halls.
An interesting open-air room is a good place to sit in the shade, hiding from the sun.
The Russian Russian Hall is an interesting decoration in the form of a Russian village.
There is a large hall for 500 people ...
And there are separate booths with comfortable sofas for those who like to sit separately with their company.
The food is delicious. The service is on the level. Included in the price of the century, as in Europe.
It's a very atmospheric place. It's very beautiful inside, the waiters are very attentive! The food is excellent! I ate okroshka on ayran, you'll just lick your fingers! Salad with goyadinots and eggplant is also excellent
. My husband ordered lamb ribs, he also really liked it.I recommend it to everyone.
Visited 2 times. I liked everything! The prices are low, they bring it quickly. The food is delicious!
The hall on the ground floor is very beautiful!
Recommend👍
A wonderful restaurant with very tasty cuisine! The meat is on top! The fish is tender, in one piece, does not fall apart, you immediately understand that the fish is fresh! Well done, keep it up!
Score 5!
The dishes are all big and sooo delicious!
I ordered two dishes for myself and regretted that I could not eat them, although I really wanted to ... (large portions)
I also liked the hall, although I must take into account that in the evening loud music begins, which starts everyone dancing.
The menu is very extensive. The food is simple, but delicious. In the main hall (pictured) there is live music in the evening and it is very loud. It is better to sit on the veranda.
We visited this restaurant with foreign guests for the first time (evening of May 30, 2024) and were horrified with such poor service.
The hostess yelled at us and at the receptionist for sitting at an untidy table and behaving aggressively and rudely. Further, the indifference and boorish conversation of the waiters shocked not only foreign guests, but also us locals. The plates are not wiped and half full of water. Two administrators were contacted for all claims.
Any desire to visit this restaurant has disappeared.
However, the food and the interior are excellent.
We liked it. It is really difficult to sit down outside of a pre-booked group. There is no pilaf by one o'clock in the afternoon. But in general, I liked the food, we took a lot of different salads, fish, meat. I especially liked the puff pastry
Great restaurant. The only thing to keep in mind is to look at the clock if you want to taste pilaf and samsa. At 13:30 it was already over. But there is always something to eat. Very tasty mutton. Salad, dessert. An atmospheric place. There is a stylized hall for a Russian hut (village) on the second floor. Personally, in my opinion, it looks strange in Uzbekistan.
On the very first day of arrival in Samarkand, we were led to a review on the Internet that here is the most delicious pilaf in the city. In fact, there is no pilaf there and there will not be if you do not make an order in advance - 1 or several days in advance. They sell pilaf from 1 kg. I am not a healthy athletic man and I cannot eat as much as the administration of the Samarkand restaurant decides. Therefore, I will remember this institution in order not to get there again.
Since it was lunchtime, and we wanted to eat after arrival and accommodation at the hotel, we had to order what was there: manti, haravats and a roll of pita bread stuffed with diced tomatoes with meat. It wasn't particularly tasty. Upset.
I put 2, not 1, because the staff was polite, friendly, the waiter came quickly, cheerful Uzbek music was playing in the big hall, people started dancing.
The waiting time for dishes is 10-15 minutes.
The interior is beautiful.
A bathroom of 3 cabins is not suitable for such a large institution. There was always a queue, like at the Bolshoi theater during the intermission)) There were a lot of foreigners in the queue. I imagine their shock when, after entering the booth, they see in front of them not a modern plumbing device, but a bowl of Genoa))) Perhaps it was designed specifically so that people would additionally plunge into prehistoric times and understand the advantages of modern civilization)
