They were from October 15 to October 29, 2021. Without treatment. We bought it at the booking office. The goal is just to relax. The assessment is ambiguous. Beautiful well-maintained territory. A real arboretum. But stray dogs and cats run around and shit there. On the memo to vacationers, where it says: "do not feed on the territory" - no one pays attention, compassionate vacationers are feeding, taking food from the dining room, despite the same prohibition. The beach is pebbly. Deck chairs are just a nightmare) wooden, on a metal frame, heavy, do not change the position of the body. There are three cafes on site, a couple of them had coffee. In the evenings, someone was singing or music was playing there, it was disturbing to sleep. We spent most of our time traveling around Abkhazia, and not on the territory of the sanatorium. The room is spacious, 1022, on the 10th floor with a magnificent view of the sea and the territory.. But! There is no cleaning, they forgot a couple of times, the maids work on the "off the hook". It was necessary to tell them to change the linen, towels, bring water, ask for a grate for drying clothes (not everyone gets it), etc. There is a stained carpet on the floor, a refrigerator with a hole in the case, the furniture is old, wooden, but the beds are comfortable, for some reason there is only one bedside table, there are no shelves in the closet, things can only be hung. The maid said that we have a gorgeous room, there are suites much worse, the carpet is stained with bright spots, the walls are painted, and that the rooms of a family with children are spoiling and polluting. The food is monotonous, but the food is delicious. I was pleased with the cinema with a modern repertoire. There was a concert with national songs and dances for a fee. Of course, there are nuances of recreation in Abkhazia. We knew where we were going, so we had no illusions. There are echoes of the Soviet Department. The rooms definitely need renovation. Although ours, they said, is after repair. Probably the walls and ceiling were meant. It was clean when checking in. But the plumbing was never washed at our place. The building is clean, beautiful, and the staff is friendly. There are cosmetology services in the medical building, which are more expensive than in my city)). We never went to the pool.

A good hotel for families with children. Grandmothers and grandchildren mostly rest, but families are also well off. Great animation for all ages: discos, foam parties 2 times a week, contests for children and adults, sports competitions , aerobics at the pool. The buffet: The food is good, well, very tasty pastries, there is no alcohol. There is a lobby cafe on site for a fee, a beach bar, a beach restaurant (delicious fried lamb), an on-site restaurant. Prices are lower than Sochi restaurants, music is everywhere. There is a saxophone in the lobby , live vocals in the restaurant, contests and discos are mainly held on the beach. The outdoor pool is not big, the indoor one is bigger, the water is seawater. The cinema is simply amazing, we went to cartoons in rainy weather, we really liked it. The territory is very beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are normal, plus they are very spacious! But I wanted to replace the carpet, but these are small things. The room keys are ordinary with a wooden keychain, you can leave them at the reception desk. The beach is just great, spacious, there were enough sun beds with umbrellas (they were in season), there is a canopy. The sea: be ready, there is a mountain river nearby, if the rain has passed, then the sea is dirty in color and very cold from above. If it doesn't rain, then the sea is very clean, but it's still cool, but that's the way it is for me. Slippers are needed, because the pebbles are large, you can buy 700 rubles on the beach, you can buy 300-400 rubles in Pitsunda. In general, I liked the rest, it is convenient to rent a car, it will be delivered to the hotel from Sochi. We took 2 days to leave, drove to Sukhum and back ourselves arrived at the airport with a stop in Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana. The car was handed over near the airport. We went on a jipping tour, this is for extreme people, especially the road to the Geghi waterfall))) I'm definitely not on this kind of tour anymore))) I liked the catamaran tour to the dachas of Gorbachev and Stalin. All excursions were taken at the hotel. Have a good rest and good mood!

It's really a good sanatorium, but for Abkhazia it's just super! A large and beautiful territory, good cafes and a huge beach. The only drawback is a mountain river flowing into the sea a kilometer from the sanatorium, which is why the water is quite cool - it depends on the wind.

There are several restaurants on the territory of Boxwood. One - if you go to the sea through the park - on the right. I don't remember the name, unfortunately. In my life, I have never seen a restaurant that even closely resembles this one. The waiters are a shock. Food, serving, serving - well, what to explain, tips reached 100% of the bill! Probably the best hotel in Abkhazia. Like 4* in Turkey. Awesome territory. Animation. Of the disadvantages, a cold mountain river flows nearby. About 10 years ago, some kind of dam washed away there and now, after the rains, all the dirt in the form of fragments of trees floats directly into the sea near the hotel. Plus, it greatly lowers the water temperature. And of course, no one will ever fix this dam.
