Overall, it's not bad. Out of season prices are acceptable. The food is decent, although it is often too salty. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, mosquitoes will devour in the summer.
Compared to last year, the diet has deteriorated. The coffee in the lobby has become less strong.
We went to eat in the lobby and the restaurant Abkhazia, it tastes much better there.
The room stock on the 8th floor needs renovation. Light bulbs, hooks, and holders do not work.
Beautiful territory, nice beach.
This is a very, very cool place. Everything that is not part of the same territory. The food is great. The rooms are nice, pools and restaurants, its own park, etc

It's a good place.
Delicious, beautiful, good music.
The only thing is that it is not very safe, the stones on the floor are very sharp, the child fell on his chin. I had to run to the trauma center instead of dinner and sew up the wound instead of dinner.
There are a lot of rocks near the restaurant where children jump, which is why it is not possible to relax, all the time you look at each other so that you don't push each other, they say they saw snakes there, which is even scarier.
The food is good, I liked the animation, the nature is beautiful, the bed in the rooms has not been changed once in 2 weeks, dust. If you are lucky with the weather, you can spend less time in the room. The dishes in the dining room are clean, the food is delicious, the staff is attentive, stuffy, I would like to add air conditioners, those that are there are not enough.
The restaurant is on the level, the menu is good. If you compare with Turkey, then only the design of the restaurant is weak, everything is super in terms of dishes and assortment. The territory is excellent, and many parks in cities can envy the park. The beach is good, sun beds, mattresses are free, although towels are draped))), but you can take them from the room. The rooms are normal, clean. In general, I liked everything, if something is wrong, everything is fixed quickly. In Turkey, such hotels may be given 5 stars, but still 4*
We visited this boarding house in August 2019 with my son of 7 years. The child liked that there is a swimming pool with sea water, well, the sea by itself. In general, we had a good rest, of course there were disadvantages, for example, the Rotovirus simply bloomed in August (they said that this was the norm for this month in the south). We arrived very prepared, with a bunch of drugs for rotovirus, so at the first symptoms, we quickly coped with it, although we had to take at least a hint in advance, before the symptoms. And so, of course, they try to provide comfort to guests and match the price tag.The big plus is that there is a laundry room, no need to wash in the sink.
Super!!! The best sanatorium!!! The territory, rooms, food - everything is fine!

An excellent sanatorium with its huge territory. There are several bars and a restaurant, the beach is wonderful. An excellent sanatorium block with swimming pools and other amenities.
The only thing is that in Pitsunda the sea is warmer and there is less wind, the bay is still.
Taxi and minibus drivers are adequate, but sometimes frisky)
Thanks to the staff for their promptness in resolving issues.

At first glance, everything seems to be fine, but..... 1. the rooms are carpeted with white spots near the beds, think for yourself to the best of your depravity))))) but I do not recommend walking barefoot in the rooms. There 's trash behind the beds . Cleaning is not done at all until you complain. We lived on different floors, everywhere there is a complete mess with cleaning, then the vacuum cleaner is broken, then the maid complains that her arm was broken and it is difficult for her to do everything))))yes, right like that))) The extra clamshells are all broken, and if you need to change them, you carry them yourself, they don't need it.All the maids are elderly, barely moving, so don't be fooled))) In the evenings, until 23-24, music screams from their cafes on the territory, it is unrealistic to sleep.Everything is a mess there, the boarding house bus arrived with me and the passengers got out, several were unhappy that the driver was driving and creating emergency situations, to which he, the Boarding House Driver, said that he would shove some kind of control device in their ass)))And then he rushed at the man to FIGHT with his fists and hit him. All this happened with children 5-6 years old and women!!!!!!!!!! Do you think what happened next?????? But nothing))))He works on, he wasn't even fired, that's how it is. There is no law and order. It is dangerous everywhere, the population is armed, this is the norm there. there was a case in the spring in the same Boxwood Grove in a restaurant, Abkhazians began to molest a married girl, the husband stood up, they started shooting at him and his friend in the legs and groin. Heroes of Abkhazia are all around here, it's normal to throw at unarmed tourists, even with children and women. The garden is great, they take care of it, there are a lot of things and entertainment for children. There is a sanatorium treatment and an excellent dining room, the chefs really respect and bow to all the employees of the dining room. Here they are handsome. The beach is nice. But these are the drivers of this hotel and the cleaners who spoil the whole impression. In short, I do not recommend visiting, because the staff can calmly start beating you for a remark made about their work))))). One black sheep spoils the whole flock. The Boxwood owners seem to look at the behavior of the same driver condescendingly, and this is annoying.
An honest story about this sanatorium. We arrived and checked into a dirty room, which we were promised to clean before 6 pm. But in the end, the room was cleaned for the first time after 5 days. The bed linen stayed with us for all 2 weeks. Also about towels. Even after complaining to the reception, nothing has changed. The carpet is stained all over.and they don't care about cleanliness. Thank God there was toilet paper, otherwise, according to the stories of other guests, there was none. The service in the suites and standard rooms is heaven and earth. For 200,000 you will be served better. We have also seen this. We were passing the time in the standard. But in the suite, to my great surprise, the carpet was also dirty and stained. It is not clear what to pay such money for. But I will note that I liked the territory. Everyone will find something interesting for themselves. Rope park for children, exercise equipment, bicycles, Playground. The children liked the animation, which began in the morning on the beach. Cartoons in the afternoon, movies in the evening. There are 2 cafes on the beach with different menus. And some more tar. The food is monotonous. There is a lot of chicken all the time. Hearts, stomachs, liver, drumstick, fried boiled, etc. Pork is always with vegetables: string beans or cabbage or zucchini. At first, I liked the first week, but the second one was hard. In the evening, they give watermelon or melon. I should have been on guard. Beef only with azu potatoes. Breakfast casserole, omelette, fried sausage, sausages, buckwheat, porridge. You can choose. Compote, then strongly diluted with water, then very sweet. Baking some cupcakes and rolls. Cakes were rarer. The children didn't like it. At night, the lights were turned off from 2 to 5 and the water was always turned off. They have savings. Beach area for 5. Well done, everything is fine. Umbrellas, sun beds, a large canopy for non-sunbathers. The air conditioning in the dining room was rarely turned on. The stuffiness is terrible when it's +32 outside. The concert hall (where the cinema is located) also never turned on the air conditioner. It was hot. A lot of people have come to the conclusion that they will no longer go to Abkhazia after living here. Do not spend money on the tasting of wine, honey, cheese. They don't have wine because there are no vineyards. The prices for the degustation are 600 for 1.5 liters of wine of some kind. Their honey is only May honey, which they dye and offer for different varieties. A head of cheese is sold for 600 rubles at a degustation. Then we took a 210 kilogram in the store. Prices everywhere are inflated by 2 times. I liked the local beer. Wine of Psou, lykhny, etc. for 250 rubles. In general, it is good for 1 time, but for this money it is better to go to Turkey. The sea is clean, the beach is pebbly.
A decent sanatorium. I absolutely liked everything. A large room. A gorgeous park, lots of fun, animators, a cinema, a children's room, shops on site, raccoons in a mini zoo, sports grounds.
Three meals a day, even steamed cutlets are available. Delicious.
There are two restaurants on the shore, there is a lobby bar, a cafe chanson. Every day is a holiday.
We spent four days this summer.
Large territory, three meals a day, extensive beach. Cons- everyone smokes everywhere, every night from three to five they turn off the electricity - at this time the air conditioners do not work and there is no water.
Everything was fine until we were bitten by bedbugs. They are fighting against them, but unsuccessfully. Thank you for returning the money (we were forced to move to another hotel due to bedbugs). Food for 3, territory for 5, animation for 4 this year (it was better last year), room stock for 2
This is not only a restaurant, but also a whole resort complex with a medical building, a private beach and a large territory. Everything is very well maintained and thought out.
Very pleasant staff, really ready to do everything for your most pleasant stay.
I very rarely give the highest rating, but the Boxwood grove deserves more. I will definitely come again!
Good hotel, treatment, food. The only drawback is always the cold sea from the fact that the mountain river Bzyb flows nearby. Rude medical staff on procedures. The hotel administration needs to have a conversation with the medical staff so that they behave more politely with patients.
A good sanatorium, a bunch of all kinds of medical procedures, there is a swimming pool with a transition from open to indoor heated. There are a couple of restaurants on site, a buffet on the second floor...
It's the most horrible and filthy place I've ever met. The elevators broke down every 5 minutes, the lights were turned off 3 times a day, which delayed access to the dining room and could not sell soft drinks at the bar. And about the fact that the staff does not give out the right amount of towels, and then they demand to pay a fine for the loss, I am generally silent. Sour juice is served in the dining room, and when asked to change it, they brazenly laugh.....
So-so, I was not impressed, and the coffee is tasteless, and there is no choice of dishes. Maybe because it was in September, and no one is interested in food anymore? And with boxwoods, everything is very sad... one name remains.
An incredibly good sanatorium. Everything is fine. Treatments, food, rooms and our super team! The prices at that time were just wonderful! We hope to come again🤩
Polite waiters, delicious food, kind and warm atmosphere, a street fountain pleasantly gurgles with water. A friendly atmosphere. A warm sea breeze. I really liked everything. I recommend visiting this place.
Honest three stars.
The food is normal. The treatment is good.
Rooms, if you're lucky. Animation. On-site parking. A beautiful park.
The pool is the horror and shame of the sanatorium.
You also need to be prepared for the lack of hot water every day, evening and night.
Turkey cheerfully claps its hands at such a mediocre attitude towards visitors. It is better than many things in Abkhazia, but it does not reach any generally used standards at all. They left hungry, overpaid and not very happy with the taste of the food.
