We came by chance and did not lose, a pleasant atmospheric place, birds are alive in cages, singing. I liked the kitchen, except for dessert, lemon meringue or something like that - it tasted a little chemical. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable. Excellent service, excellent menu. The leg of lamb with polenta is great. Polenta is surprisingly delicious on its own (!). Lovely tuna. Although I pumped up the avocado a little (it was firm). Delicious classic tartar. I highly recommend it. I liked everything.

We booked a table in the afternoon when the phone rang. We arrived at the appointed time, they did not find us, but they still put us in jail. We decided on the menu and asked to take it out when ready. They asked if the second courses that we ordered were ready, they said 15 minutes.
We waited 1.5 hours. Now about what we ordered. The duck pate was excellent.
Then, after 40 minutes, beef tartare was brought, next to it were: peppers, onions, olives, capers, cucumbers, yolk. They mixed it and got a tasteless substance. Take a look at the photo. They asked to bring balsamic vinegar, it was carried for 15 minutes.
I ordered the second course of octopus with mashed broccoli, waited 1.5 hours and they brought me a very soft and tasteless octopus, the mashed potatoes were bitter and had an ugly color, you will see the photo. I couldn't eat it, I gave it back to them. My husband ordered a knuckle, it was also not tasty, and next to it was sticky corn porridge, tasteless as dough.
That's not all. The toilet is squalid, the handle jams, the girl in the wardrobe helps those who cannot open the toilet doors from inside to get out. Take a look at the photos too. My advice to you is don't go there, don't waste your time and money.

Great restaurant! Perhaps the best of all that we visited in Brest. Convenient location in the city center, a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian street (analogous to the Old Arbat). Polite and efficient staff, good portions and a varied menu. There is a parking lot nearby.

They sewed on food, not only did the waiter just come in 2 minutes and began to obsessively ask what was needed without letting them get acquainted with the menu, but okay, a company of fairly drunk guests was sitting next to them, talking extremely loudly on obscene topics and almost copulating at the table, they were not told that they were interfering with other guests, but I was charged for the dress code is still, they say, we still have a restaurant, despite the fact that I was decently dressed to visit the institution, while the service did not even bother to clarify the roasting of the steak, from the totality of this attitude, the desire to dine, and even more so to visit this institution completely disappeared, I can't say anything about the kitchen, try the creations of this institution all desire has disappeared. Conclusion: guys, if you position yourself as a classic restaurant, then match everything, and believe me there is something to compare in Moscow and so on, and do not serve dirty wooden appliances that have long been time to replace!!!

Fries are overcooked to a charcoal, steak (MEDIUM RARE, TWICE REFINED!!!!) We waited 55 minutes, brought it WITH BLOOD, really offered to roast it, Guys, are you serious??? Fry the steak,?! Well, then the sign should be changed from the restaurant "Jules Verne" to "shawarmeshnaya" (they roast and finish cooking there))) next on the menu, we have a cheese plate, but of course it is written loudly... There are three types of cheese and a green pear (hard as a stone).

Cold beetroot soup for three, the cook wanted to add something original and he added fried potatoes and meat to it. Accordingly, additional fat is poured with cold beetroot broth (not kvass) with yogurt. Fat, of course, freezes and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Squid with nut sauce failed. The combination is unpleasant, the sauce is not brought to mind, bland, plus the nuts are poorly peeled and the shell comes across. Lemonade with cucumber with grated cucumbers, a jug without a sieve. From the good, the service is very nice and tries hard.
