Hello everyone I am currently vacationing in Egypt, I booked this hotel through a tour operator from pegas. And they made a big mistake. A terrible hotel, which definitely does not pull at 5 stars. Dirty bed linen in snot from previous guests that needs to be washed. But apparently they don't do this here, from the word at all. The towels are dirty, there is dust all over the room. This is the first hotel in our life where cucumber and tomato salads were removed for dinner, leaving only two types of cabbage! For dinner, there are also three types of beans, mashed potatoes made from powder and finely chopped stewed beef. There was always a small overcooked fish that almost no one took. There is no normal coffee. The juices are powdered. The staff seems to be trying to do something, but somehow it doesn't work out well, even for tips.
The hotel itself and the rooms.
Once upon a time, it was a big beautiful hotel, I think 10 years ago.
Now it's a shabby area, dirty rooms and broken furniture.
We were given "superior" rooms closer to the sea, instead of the standard ones. Everything in the rooms is old, dirty and broken. I won't describe all this for a long time, just look at the photos if the hotel allows them to be attached to the review. The hot water was three days out of seven! The remaining four days are warm water, a thin stream and constant promises at the reception that everything will be fixed today. I remind you, I'm writing about a five-star hotel!
Beach.
Interesting, large, multi-level. The deck chairs are wooden, almost all are broken, nails are sticking out of them. The mattresses are stained and torn. There is only one bar open, glass glasses run out quickly, so they are poured into plastic soft cups from the cooler)). The sand on the beach is 30% made up of cigarette butts. There are no ashtrays, people throw everything under their feet. Everything is visible in the photo.
Q: Are there any advantages in this place? Yes, I have. The only thing they didn't manage to spoil was the sea and a good deep reef. You can snorkel, you can dive with fins, and diving. Which is what we've been doing all week.

The territory of the hotel:
It is huge and includes 5 working restaurants - the main one (buffet), an Italian restaurant, a Lebanese restaurant, a pizzeria and a burger joint. 3 pools, one pool with slides (but only one slide works). There are a lot of stairs on the territory, if you are settled in building 7 or 8, it may be difficult to walk to the sea. Ideally, 3 or 2 buildings. In general, the area is clean and well maintained (there are many locations for beautiful photos).
There are also shops and a pharmacy on site.
Rooms:
It's getting sadder here... the hotel positions itself as a 5*, but the rooms are old and poorly maintained. There is mostly no hot water in the room, but it appears occasionally. Upon check-in, the safe did not work for us, they called the reception several times to fix the safe, after 3 calls they came to us, also gave us a room with one double bed and offered to change to 2 beds for an additional fee in the form of a tip, but they never changed 😃
The rooms are cleaned every other day and very poorly, there is a lot of dust.
They do not put water in the room (you can take it in bottles at the bar), do not put shampoo, balm and toothpaste. Just gel and soap. There is no mini bar and kettle in the room.
Food:
The choice of food is large, but every day is too monotonous, most often not tasty. We were in mango and fig season, but we were never given at the hotel. Only apples, oranges and unripe melons. Desserts are dry, milk is diluted with water, juices are also diluted. There were also no seafood and national dishes (hummus, tortillas, mutton, etc.).
You can also have dinner once at one of the on-site restaurants (you need to book a day in advance at the reception), but not everything can be ordered there in the menu (this is noted in the menu). The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, but the waiters ask you to buy a paid drink to have dinner (this should not happen, you can contact the reception).
Bottled water is always available in the mini-bar, you can take 2 bottles per person at a time.
Of the drinks, only instant juices, tea, coffee (instant) and locally produced alcohol.
Beach:
The sea is gorgeous, transparent, warm, you can rent a mask with a snorkel at the hotel for the whole day for $ 2. There are always enough sun beds. Entering the sea from a pontoon. The hotel also offers diving services.
Animation:
There is practically no animation. Water aerobics, water volleyball, stretching, children's disco and sometimes live music.
Transport:
The hotel has its own taxi driver, he asks for $ 15 round trip to the nearest place where you can walk (Naama Bay), but you can get there for $ 10 (bargain!!!). But if you leave the hotel on the road, then a taxi is at every step. If you go to the main road, you can get to Naama Bay by minibus (for $ 1-2 per person).
Entertainment outside the hotel:
There are 3 entertainment districts in Sharma (Naama Bay, Old Town and Soho).
Each of them has shops, souvenirs, discos, restaurants.
The only thing is that it is very difficult to walk the streets in these areas (everyone starts barking, haggling), you get mentally tired.
It is more profitable to buy excursions outside the hotel. We took it from Ayub (you can find him through the smile cafe in Naama Bay).
We went on a yacht tour from the hotel (we didn't like it, it was boring, the food was not tasty), but there were beautiful photos from it.
Conclusion: in general, the emotions from the rest are positive, despite all these shortcomings. I think it all depends more on the mood you are in when you go on vacation!

We checked in and saw dead cockroaches in the room, we asked the reception to clean the room. At the reception they pretend that they do not understand English, if you speak Russian, they send you to the guide. We came to rest, not to sort things out. However, after contacting the guide, the bed was made, but the dead cockroaches were not removed. The staff is focused only on foreigners, but not on Russians! They just ignored it! Although there were most Russian tourists! The room was not cleaned even after being requested.
Restaurant: well, it was a shock! Tables were not wiped, napkins were not given, appliances had to be searched. I've always been surprised by reviews where people write that there's nothing to eat. But then I had to go through it. It is so! The son eats only meat, but there was no meat. There was one woman standing there, giving out a chicken for a tiny, bony piece! She pretended not to see her son at all until a Russian man stood up and told her to serve the boy! I didn't understand what kind of kitchen it was at all. Everything is terrible. I had to persuade him to add it every time. Is this normal? No vegetables, no other additives. It's just not provided.
A la carte: you need to make an appointment before visiting. A person who signs up for restaurants is guided by his sympathies – to write it down or not. I did not record many older Russian people. I applied in English, and a place was found.
In Italian a la carte, the receptionist brought me a menu, although they have a standard set of dishes, apparently he wanted to trick me for money. After learning that I speak English, I removed the menu. I must say I cook pasta better)). I was pleased only with the Arabic a la carte: both fast and tasty.
Beach bar: they said there was no beer, it would be in 10 minutes. Men were poured into 200 gram plastic cups. I remember the delicious beer in Egypt, everything is diluted in this hotel. I applied once, they poured me into a 50 gram one. I didn't apply anymore. But for other foreigners there were: drinks and glass glasses!
Burger cafe: this is the first time I've seen snacks given out piece by piece! And it was the Russians who were served reluctantly and slowly! The foreigners did not have time to sit down at the table – they wiped the table, carried napkins. When the Russians came up, they just threw a plate with a burger (half a cutlet!) and some French fries. It was not a full plate for Russians.
The sun beds on the beach are all broken, but you can find them when the hotel is 30% loaded. There weren't always mattresses. One employee who gives out towels always helped to find a mattress, but on the last day the young man was openly rude in Russian! "come earlier, there are no mattresses," he said, and did not even go to look. My son found it on his own.

Rested from 16.09.-26.09.2023.the hotel itself is beautiful in the Maracan style. The attitude of the staff to the Russians is bad, the rooms are dirty, there are problems with towels. The food in the restaurant is not 5 *, but solid 2*. the fruits are not ripe, there are no sauces, alcohol and beer are diluted, it is impossible to drink at all, of course they were not hungry. There are few sun beds.The hotel claims to be 5* in fact 4* by a stretch. We were warned that there had been no renovation there for a long time, but not to the same extent! The bathroom is collapsing-everything is rusty, moldy and falling off. And it's Deluxe. And then what about the regular rooms??
3. Meals. Frankly speaking, there is nothing to eat! Everything is monotonous. I can't say that you won't stay hungry. Personally, we and our friends stayed!
There are 3 restaurants that you can visit ala-kart. I only liked the Caribbean, although for the first time we ate enough.
4. Service. The word "service" is generally ABSENT here.

Good day to all! We had a rest in this beautiful, albeit remote from civilization, hotel from March 21 to March 29, 2023, three (me, my husband and our work colleague). We arrived at about 08.00. check-in from 14.00. We paid 15-20 dollars apiece and gave wonderful rooms. My husband and I are in the first building next to a small but deep square pool on the ground floor (room 1119), our colleague is in the second building on the second floor (room 2249).
In this regard, we got to breakfast on the first day. Therefore, the first day has already been set at 100%.Well, now everything is in order:
1. Food - in this case, hotels are a separate story. We ate only tomatoes and cucumbers from vegetables (they were definitely cut always fresh). Tea, granulated sugar has never been where it should be. He constantly had to beg for it, as well as napkins.Over time, we began to turn a blind eye to this and began simply ordering everything we needed from the waiters (later we found out that there was butter, sunflower oil, and hard-boiled eggs (where omelets and pasta are cooked). The fish ends very quickly, but if you insist that they bring it, then after three minutes they put a new tray).
Special thanks to the head waiter Salim. A very kind man. He always brought everything, even toasters, which he kindly fried himself. The conclusion is that you will not stay hungry, but there is no pleasure from eating. And they also noticed that as soon as the owner appeared with a check, there were immediately more dishes and somehow these dishes became tastier. Our vacation fell on the Ramadan holiday, in this regard, soups were almost always rebuilt (you can not try the cook's dishes during the day)....
2. The hotel has three restaurants that you can visit by pre-booking (to the right of the reception desk) from 08.00 to 10.00 h. - Lebanese restaurant, Italian restaurant and Pizzeria. We've been to all three. Lebanese is highly recommended. In it, we got at least a little bit of the smell and feeling of spices, which we did not get in the main restaurant
3. Rooms of the old foundation are very much in need of repair and replacement of furniture. Although the furniture sometimes resembled some kind of antique, and this also needs to be seen as a plus.
4. The sea, the sailor. This is what I would come back here for one day. Personally, I am in Egypt (40th time, 30th of them in Sharma). I can say with great confidence that the best beach and the best reef are only at the Savoy Hotel, I would assign a worthy 2nd place to this reef.
4. There is no animation. Gatherings near the stage, where two animators are just dancing, whom you can meet a couple of times during the day (although maybe it seemed to me personally).
5. All drinks (including local good white wine and local beer, from which everyone in other hotels was always happy) - everything is diluted to the state a light, incomprehensible substance. Therefore, I strongly advise you to either take alcohol with you, or buy their beer in Naama Bay for $ 1.
6. There is absolutely nowhere to walk here. We went for $ 3 (for 1 trillion per person) by taxi at the exit of the hotel - to Soho, the old town and Naama Bay.
7. Take all the excursions at the Naama Bay agencies. Honestly, no one will cheat you, take my word for it. The savings are just on the face. The guide of the Israel hotel has $200 per person, we left for $ 110. The safari guide has an extended program for $ 65, we went for 35. Well, something like that.. And believe me, we were all taken in the same buses, with the same police. Israel, by the way, began to keep out a lot of tourists. 17 people from our group were not allowed to pass, they sent us back with the bus, the three of us were also detained because of me (I'm in Israel for the third time, and it's the same every time - my frequent visits to Egypt are always embarrassing). That is, of the detainees, only three of us were allowed to pass.

I chose this hotel among other fours because of the presence of a volleyball court. The problem was that the photo was very outdated. The torn net, which, after long conversations with the administration and the help of the Jasmine hotel, was repaired on the 9th day of my vacation, was left at the same low altitude. At some point, I got tired of this running from the beach to the lobby and back to the room, I asked for another one, but in the end I had to go to flashing again, most likely the problem is in the locks, others had a similar situation. Usually, this happened at most once during the entire vacation, in this hotel it is a common situation, and the employees' assumptions that the matter is in the phone are dismissed immediately, because I carried them in different pockets, or the phone remained in the safe.
Beach and sea: there are enough sun beds to take a place closer to the water, it is advisable to come in the morning. Descent into the water is possible only from one pontoon, the second is destroyed, because of this, a queue accumulates, it is difficult for elderly people to climb out of the water by a metal ladder and climb onto the pontoon from the shore, there is no normal entrance to shallow water. The boat docks to the pontoon itself, the rescuer has to clear the way, floating on the surface do not always hear the whistles.
I have never seen a better reef, yachts with divers are constantly arriving. The depth varies more than 20 meters if you swim to the left towards the Oasis Hotel, up to 7 meters if you swim to the right towards the Continental Hotel. For the first time in all the trips, we managed to see stingrays, winglets, barracudas and turtles, moray eels and napoleons were also encountered.
Restaurant: the choice of food is limited, gestrelation voiced its suggestions, apparently they did not meet the understanding of the management. I think that for dinner it would be possible to spread the sliced sausage, which is found at breakfast. Because it is not always possible to choose something from the meat dishes offered. Usually in Egypt there were many different types of muffins at breakfast, there are only 2-3, and the same ones every day. Since water is not brought to the room, it would be possible to arrange a delivery at the restaurant or at the entrance so that guests do not have to go to the bar upstairs for this. Well, or at least put a cooler.
Territory and cleaning: On the first day of rest, I went to the toilet stall on the beach, it seems that they haven't been cleaned there for weeks, I've only seen this in three-star hotels. I can't say anything about cleaning about myself, because I usually hang a Do not disturb sign, although once someone did come in, the sign was hanging on the back of the door, but cleaning was not carried out. Who came in and for what, it was difficult to answer at the reception. I have never seen the treatment with smoke from mosquitoes, there are a lot of them on the territory, especially felt in the lobby and at the evening animation.
Animation: Evening animation is a disaster, poor animators are forced to jump to these dances all day, as a result, two animators disappeared, apparently quit, two more "got up on skis". The chief animator for some reason constantly takes pictures of these dances, although the management itself visits the animation and sees how bad everything is. Volleyball was not held due to the lack of a ball, 3-4 deflated ones were shown, for what they are collected - it is unclear. As a result, on the 5th day we bought a ball, and again cheap, and after the game, if you can call it a game with such a platform, it was already in cracks. Moreover, they were given half an hour to play, and then they said that the animators work until 17:00 and they have to pick up the ball, they did not ask for money from the hotel owner for so much time to make something happen to him. In fact, the biggest danger for the ball is the wall of the neighboring hotel and the proximity of the sea. By the way, in the neighboring hotel, the sites are located along the beach, not across, and the distance to the sea is decent. It is also impossible to start the game earlier, because the rule in the hotel is that two animation programs should not overlap each other. There was a foam party twice, both times the cannon was placed on the edge of the pool from the downwind side and the foam was first in its corner, and then scattered along the beach. For the photo, people were driven into this corner. For two days in a row, the animators just danced, and there were 2-3 people who knew the dances, thanks to the guests, they came out to support. The first day it was so planned, and on the second it was probably supposed to be karaoke, but since there were no people willing to go on stage after a couple of songs, dancing again. If they think that everyone is interested in such an evening program, they are very mistaken. Who is the problem here, I do not know whether the chief animator knows what he is doing, or whether he is being told to do so. He came up a couple of times and asked why I was so sad, listened to comments and suggestions, and then silently walked away. Soon he will be alone, he will jump to these songs, take selfies for the report and repeat his catchphrase "ARE YOU READY?" during the children's animation.?? NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO!!!"
I do not recommend it!!!even because of the beautiful reef (there is nothing else besides it), and you obviously won't be able to stay in the water 24/7.
This hotel doesn't even smell like a vacation!!! Think 100 times before you buy a tour here, in general, I do not know who writes positive reviews, most likely people with whom the animators have made friends. The hotel is in ruins (everything is old, dead, keep your word of honor, it is clear that they have not invested money for a long time to maintain comfort and quality).

There are queues for pasta, meat, and chicken eggs! Finding a cup or fork is a problem - there are always not enough of them! Tea bags - ends in the first 5 minutes, it is brought in 10 minutes in the amount of 15 bags.... after 1 minute, they are gone. Tables with a tablecloth that does not change. Turned upside down, crumbs will be shaken off on the floor and please sit down, bon appetit!
There are cafes on site... This is a special pleasure! Pizzeria Fellini - cutlery is brought in bags, it seems like new, print it out... There's dried ketchup on the back of the fork, and leftovers are stuck between the prongs.... Pizza. Pizza here is dough poured with ketchup and sprinkled with grated fine cheese. This is all that is available in olinclusive. The rest is for money.

The biggest plus of the hotel is the reef! A very wide variety of fish, corals, unforgettable impressions. The rooms in the hotel are old and located at different distances from the sea. We paid $ 15 extra and were given a room in the first building, cleaned often, the room went directly from the balcony door to the pool. The rooms are dead, there has been no hot water for the last 3 days. To the question: "Where is the hot water?", the answer with a laugh: "It's over, the repair is over." Further about the food, I was hungry, there is nothing to eat except vegetables, there is no meat, and what can not be called meat, once there was a chicken, it was given out piece by piece, if you ask for a second piece, the cook screams that a lot for one person, a friend came for a portion for a child and received a couple of affectionate from the cook for the fact that I came for more. Restaurants that are in Alaska are something, one salad from leftovers from dinner, and the rest is money-laundering. There was nothing entertaining. The alcohol is diluted. I wanted to distract myself and got what I wanted. I had no time to think about anything other than this nightmare. 1. Food.
I had to get food every time with a fight, literally.
There is no meat on the buffet. It is issued only by hand and only in small quantities and only by ONE person. If you want more, eat it, then stand in line again (20 minutes) and they will give it again. Again, two small pieces. I'm already silent that it's not tasty...
the tables don't have time to clean up. On the day of arrival, I had to have dinner standing up!!!, because there was not enough space at the tables.
I am silent about the variety of food. There is no more than one type of meat. From the fish on the buffet after half an hour, only the heads remain.
2. The beach.
If you imagine the beach in the classical sense, it is not here. There are waves of stones around. You can enter the water only from the pantone. And he's alone!! for the whole hotel. Can you imagine how many people are on it? A small bridge....
To change a beach towel - you have to survive three circles of hell.
You come in the evening - they tell you there are no towels, come in the morning.
You come in the morning, another guy tells you to come in the evening.
So I've been walking for the 3rd day with one towel. It's good that it dries quickly on the balcony, there is no humidity.
3. Room.
The repair was done for the last time in the 80-90s of that century.
In the shower, there is a layer of sand a centimeter under your feet, no one has cleaned it.
The first time they came, they made the bed (they didn't clean the room, but just the bed) on the 3rd day of my stay. And soap and shampoo were brought only on the 4th. Initially, there were none.
The mattresses are all washed out. The springs are broken.
It is impossible to read in the evening. There is practically no lighting in the room (but they said in Egypt this is the norm).
4. Gym.
Here everything is cool. Even many simulators exist and work (despite the year of production, also 80-90s), BUT!!! The indoor air conditioner has been broken for like a month and a half. It's 38° outside, can you imagine what's in the room with floor-to-ceiling windows?

And all because at 2:00 the lights went out in the entire hotel, hence the air conditioning. After 10 minutes, the light appeared, and the cooling disappeared. It's the hottest season right now and it's impossible to live without cold air. We are lying wet, trying to sleep, and the reception said that they would come to fix it at 10:00 in the morning.

There are no dental supplies. Towels with stains. There will be hot water in the shower only if you pee in it.
6. Swimming pools are a separate art form. The water level does not reach the drains, so all the garbage stays with you throughout the day, and maybe more. Washing other people's snot out of their hair is already in the order of things. The most popular pool on the beach by the bar is so muddy that you won't see your feet.
7. In the sea, right near panton, a huge moray eel lives in the reefs and occasionally grabs people. Well, it's stupid to make claims to nature here. Just know that.
8. There is a small selection in the dining room. In the morning we stand in an eternal queue for an egg, in the afternoon and evening we fight for an extra (third) piece of meat. Those who see only good things rest. Whoever came to look for flaws gets them. Queues - in the restaurant, do not go all to the opening, we came later, no queue, all dishes are available, tables are free. Chicken, beef, fish. Drinks of the local brand, but in a full range. The waiters work like a bee. There are certain conditions in connection with the pandemic and we must put up with this - all drinks are in plastic disposable cups. The animation is good. From morning to lunch, stretching, bachata, aqua aerobics. In the evening there is a children's disco and then entertainment programs for adults.
The only negative is the Internet at rare reception hours.
Well, the sea is a FAIRY TALE!!!! You will forget about all the shortcomings and sorrows. I recommend this hotel.

Visiting cities has become terrible, because everyone is trying to deceive you, to sell you.
The establishments in this hotel have one name, there are only 3 of them, Pizza, Javara and Italiano, they can be visited 1 time per tour by appointment, which is carried out up to 12 days.The Pizza place, if you can call it that, is terrible in my opinion, the furniture is dead, the staff is always angry and dissatisfied, the design and serving are like in a shawarma shop at the Belorussky railway station in Moscow.There is an eternal queue in Khawara, the chance to get there is small and all only because of the hookah for $ 5, which, oddly enough, is worth it, they cook so-so.The food is very tasty only Italiano, the staff score is 1000 out of 100, the dishes are simply amazing, especially seafood soup (there is no price for it, because it is included in the free menu, but for 2 soups + 2 whiskey cola we gave $ 2), a plate of seafood is $ 16 (a lot per person and very satisfying (includes 5-7 large shrimp, 2 crabs, French fries, vegetables, fried squid, 3-4 large crab tentacles)). With friendly and polite communication and a couple of dollars in tips, they will be waiting for you every evening, they will always find a place to arrange tables at the level of top establishments in Moscow.

The fruits were tasteless melon, apples, once crushed figs, and a warm watermelon. Food without salt and spices, meat that cannot be chewed, half-cooked potatoes, overcooked pasta. Eat it and your appetite disappears. During the day, snacks are the same every day - pizza and burgers. It's the same thing, we can't look at this pizza anymore. The dining room stinks, glasses are constantly running out, beer too. Alcohol is diluted, only for money the staff secretly sells more or less alcohol norms. Yes, even store-bought alcohol seems to be diluted, bring it with you or buy it in a boutique. In general, the staff is in no hurry to resolve issues, for the entire vacation they came to clean the room once and then after they asked for it a million times. The safe did not work upon arrival, we waited half a day for them to come to fix it. The hotel is dead, old, right on the territory of garbage, bulls, dirt. Maybe once it was a 5-star hotel, but now it is a maximum of 2 stars. The rooms are also dead, dirty toilets and bathtubs, the hair dryer does not work, it is unpleasant to be in them. Many vacationers made scandals and asked to be moved to better rooms. In the evening, there are a lot of mosquitoes on the territory of the hotel, in particular at the reception (where the Internet is very slow). Everything itches after their bites. On the beach, the sun beds are old, torn, constantly bothered by animators who sell all sorts of excursions, massages. We fell for it and went to their hamam for $ 50. Their spa is the same as the whole hotel-ugly and old. The Union Pay card does not work at the hotel, although they paid normally throughout the city. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, who doesn't care about anything at all, like all the hotel staff.

We had a great rest in charm, great view, pool and the staff is attentive and professional. There is a bus that takes people around the hotel because it is huge in itself. The staff speaks Russian better than English))
I do not recommend it!!!! It's a very dirty hotel, there's a problem with the Internet, everyone wants money and chocolate, begging tourists! The bed linen is dirty, the food is disgusting!The beach is dirty, the furniture is broken, except bottled water, no liquids can be consumed categorically!
