A wonderful theater! The buffet is terrible. People are crowding into the queue, as if they had been hungry for years. After a 15-minute break, you need to grab a sandwich or champagne and try to enjoy it again.
My favorite place. If you want to smell the past, go there❤️ I visit so often to put my thoughts in order, or just to enjoy creativity. Always goosebumps)
A beautiful theater. Inside and out. It still has the spirit of the Soviet era, which makes the place even more interesting. I was not at the performances, I was at work at the time of the rehearsal. The silence and distant sounds of music and workflow always fascinate me in theaters
Hello, on 8.01.24 we were at the Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Navoi (Tashkent) at the performance "12 months" ...
The result is Disappointment! The production is hacky... The work of the artists is mediocre, costumes for 3 -... For children and New Year's performances should be staged especially soulfully, brightly, interestingly, unusually!
A beautiful theater, a good hall. Andris Liepa worked here for three years and staged amazing ballets: there were 6 compositions of Nutcrackers alone for the New Year! Unfortunately, he no longer works here. I haven't been to the ballet since he left…
The toilets are bad, they seem to have been repaired, but in the women's toilet (according to the mother) it is not possible to flush normally, half of the booths do not work. It is better to go to the toilet in advance.
The buffet prices are high, it is better to eat before going to the theater. The seats inside are comfortable, the stage is close and the hall is small enough, so you can safely take almost any place in the hall - everything will be visible.
The quality of the ballet - I'm a complete layman in this, but it seemed that only the soloists -2-3 people keep the brand. The backup dancing and the second roles were not impressed, it looks like an amateur circle.
Ballet tickets from 40 to 140 thousand soums, not including 10 percent tax. In general, it is inexpensive, so the price-quality corresponds.
We were at the Nutcracker on December 24, 2022. I liked the ballet, but there was such a negative impression of the place as a whole. And why:
So there at that time, representatives of the Ahmad Tea company actually treated the audience with this tea, and at the same time, they sold this tea to those who liked it. Ahmad tea with cardamom, pack of 200 grams. During the intermission, I ask the price, the girl says 30 thousand sums. I say OK, after the ballet is over, I'll come and buy it. I forgot the card, there is no cash, I asked my friends to buy it, they bought it. Then it means that a little later I want to transfer 30 thousand sums to them, but they tell me not 30, but 300 rubles From them they asked for so much and showed me the receipt.
That is, a Russian man came up, asked for a pack of tea, they told him 300 thousand, he silently translates, since he has no idea how much this pack of tea costs and since I asked, it means I agree with the price, it did not even occur to him that he could be so brazenly deceived.
Well, I had to transfer 300,000 soums for a pack of 200 grams of tea worth 30,000. I found the same tea on the Internet in a 30 thousand sum store.
There was nowhere to go to figure it out, the New Year and the hut on the stick.
A wonderful theater, I often visit there, an amazing atmosphere, I like the repertoire, there is something to see, the staff is very polite, the prices are reasonable.I wish success to the theater staff
The lobby, toilet and cafeteria are terrible. Especially the cafeteria, you can already figure out a hundred times how to serve everyone during the 15-minute intermission, but there are only 2 people working. The toilet is a nightmare. Like in a bazaar, you can find it from the lobby by the smell. The stage is very echoing, during the ballet you can hear pointe shoes clattering, it is very distracting. You can also figure out how to make some kind of coating so that it is not so loud and so audible, probably yes there would be a desire.
It is a very beautiful and delightful theater, especially after the renovation it is still more beautiful. But the ballet has deteriorated compared to what it was 5-10 years ago. I went to Swan Lake and Bayadere, I didn't really like the performance of the artists.
A wonderful place with its own interesting history. There is a place to leave things inside, the hall itself is quite neat and pleasant. Good emotions after the visit.
Wonderful theater, beautiful performances, but the last time was last week and the air conditioner was not working in the hall, it was very hot to sit, I do not even know what it was like for the artists to dance in such a temperature. I hope it was just a temporary breakdown.
A good theater, and music and ballet at a decent level, something needs to be done with logistics - the WATER ran out during the intermission, it shouldn't be like this
Very beautiful interiors. The repertoire includes foreign classics, national opera and ballet. The productions are purely classical, with colorful sets and costumes. Very affordable ticket prices.
The theater was built in 1947 according to the project of the famous Soviet architect Alexei Shchusev, known to us from the Lenin Mausoleum and the Kazan Railway Station in Moscow!
It is interesting to note that the constructed theater building withstood the powerful tremors of the 1966 earthquake. In 1945-46, Japanese prisoners of war took part in the construction, and a memorial plaque is located on the left side of the building. The Prime Minister of Japan himself participated in the opening of the theater in 2015 after restoration. Our Bolshoi Theatre has such a big and beautiful history.
The creepy ballet The Nutcracker. I do not recommend it to those who know how it should be in a real ballet. Even more impressive are the organized ovations of either the relatives of the dancers, or the employees of the theater.
It was a beautiful theater, Iolanthe was at the opera, everything was fine until two knights in jeans, a leather jacket and an Olympic jacket came out in the second act...
I always come here and get aesthetic pleasure from everything, starting with the view of the building, inside, sound, entertainment, comfortable chairs and the theater staff are polite and tactful!!!
It was my first time in this wonderful theater at the Bayadere, I was pleasantly surprised that they love ballet in Tashkent, I liked everything very much, I'm just delighted...
Excellent theater, after renovation. We watched Rigoletto's opera and were delighted with unforgettable emotions. Everything is great. I was surprised by the price of 30,000 soums, a balcony. For one adult, about 150 rubles. I recommend a visit. There is wine and cognac in the cafe. Pleasant atmosphere, polite staff. WELL DONE actors and musicians!
a great place for a good time, the building has recently been renovated and therefore everything is beautiful and comfortable inside, the performances that are put there are one better than the other. I highly recommend it)
I am very impressed.
I was there for the first time and immediately got to the premiere
Kyz Zhibek.
An amazing combination of modern special effects and classical opera performance, and without a sense of eclecticism.
A wonderful theater! Meeting the most refined requirements of sophisticated theatergoers and cafe lovers during intermissions.
The productions are high-quality and mostly classic.
The interior is royal.
I was at the Bohemian Opera. Excellent performance at an excellent level. The ticket office is located on the street, in the hall itself it is very beautiful, warm and cozy.
I was at the ballet festival. Excellent foreign troupes. The hall is not bad, it's a pity that the music there is a soundtrack, there is no orchestra, well, there is not even an orchestra pit.
Very beautiful, not expensive, pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful scenery. If only the audience would dress appropriately for the theater.. and not like a disco, it would be great
The theater building is the creation of the great architect Shchusev. It's beautiful inside, but... It is very cold in winter and very hot in summer. Wonderful repertoire, wonderful scenery and music.
A theater with a rich history.
The Japanese prisoners were built after World War II...
Each hall of the foyer is decorated in the style of historical cities: Khiva, Samarkand, Bukhara.
There is a buffet.
The repertoire is diverse
It's a great place, the other day it was in this theater that my daughter visited the first ballet in her life, the production of the Nutcracker, and we all really liked everything.
Probably the most beautiful square in Tashkent with a fountain, if we talk about the dark time of the day. Not only the fountain is illuminated, but also the theater building itself
