The repertoire is good, suitable for everyone. The orchestra plays superbly, the artists are experienced, they perform their role from the bottom of their hearts. The ticket is inexpensive, there are discounts, for students of the conservatory and choreography for Free!
A very beautiful theater with an oriental atmosphere in architecture. There has always been a good ballet company in the theater. And now the head of the ballet company is Andris Liepa and that's great
The best theater in Uzbekistan. Both inside and out are very beautiful. We have a wonderful ballet and opera troupe. I advise you to go and admire the luxurious halls of the theater. The last time I was at the performance was the Director of the theater dedicated to the works of Mozart. I really liked it.Exhibitions are often held in the lobby. In the photo there is an exhibition of clothes
A good eatery with a Soviet atmosphere inside, fresh fish on sandwiches, you definitely won't get poisoned. The halls are clean, the chairs are wide and soft and comfortable.
I went to Swan Lake on the weekend. The hall is full, and after watching the ballet, it's clear why! What dancers, scenery, and live music! Just clever girls! It takes pride in such a theater!
I can't say anything about the theater, we didn't get there! We came to buy tickets at the box office of the theater, but some creepy aunt cashier said that she did not know anything about the repertoire, we had to figure out the schedule ourselves somewhere and choose tickets, and she would only sell them to us! But if we are tourists and find ourselves without the Internet, she absolutely does not care, that is, the function of the cash register is not at all clear! Very unpleasant service, service at the level of the Stone Age!
It's a beautiful theater, but it's a pity that there's no lighting outside. It looks sad, although the building is very beautiful. Also, I want more lighting inside, there is a feeling that they are saving on electricity..And let them remove the car Wheels in the buffet, which are hidden behind a column))) We went to Carmen, tickets for free, we'll also go to the Nutcracker.

A wonderful theater
I'm proud.
The theater itself is in excellent condition.
I went to the ballet more often than to the opera, ballet is more impressive. I strongly advise you to come early in order to have time to see the interior of the theater, on each floor there are halls on the side that are decorated in different ways, using national motifs from different regions.
It's a wonderful place, I really advise everyone to definitely get to the ballet, Andris Liepa embodies the productions of his father Maris on stage and it's wonderful. 👍🏻
A good theater, but the "restoration" was done at a very low level. However, as well as everything that was done under the auspices of government officials.
The theater has been functioning for many years and is getting even better! The artists play great. The decorations, the staff are working great! I really liked the performance of the New Year Tree!
The Feeling Is Just Super!!!I advise everyone to visit this magnificent cultural center at least once

One of the best theaters in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A historic building built by Japanese prisoners of war, excellent acoustics, amazing atmosphere. A lively and interesting repertoire. I visit the theater almost every month. I especially recommend the national concerts.
I was at the ballet "The Nutcracker"
Lasted almost more than 2 hours, there was a break
It was cool inside, we were sitting in jackets, since it was -15 outside
It's beautiful inside, and I think every resident should visit this theater at least once
The best scenery among all the theaters in Tashkent. Good decoration in the lobby, only the banner was put inside in vain. Such advertising does not fit in with the interior of the theater in any way.
I really liked it!
Without famous Moscow stars out of habit!
Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised by the talents of the Tashkent troupe! Especially the young actors!
I will be happy to come to the performances again.
Great theater, interesting performances with great actors.
There is only one disadvantage - tickets without seats - with free seating, allegedly due to coronavirus and distancing, but in fact everyone is sitting with each other without keeping a distance. To get a good place, you need to come in advance.
But the actors' performance covers this disadvantage.
Aunts, a professor in law, a Baby, a Bankrupt and others are some of the favorite performances of this theater
Perhaps one of the best theaters in Uzbekistan. With the arrival of a new director, very big changes have taken place in the theater: the chief conductor has been replaced, opera singers are increasingly coming from abroad.
The world-class Bolshoi Academic Theatre. The unique architecture, the building was designed by Shchusev. And it was built by Japanese prisoners of the Second World War. It is mandatory for local residents and guests of the city to visit. I recommend taking a tour of the theater, as there are a lot of different rooms with unique handmade finishes and rich history.
