We visited the Botanical Garden in Sukhumi with our family and were satisfied. The park is of medium size, with beautiful and lush tropical vegetation, which creates a pleasant atmosphere for walking and outdoor recreation. A very well-maintained place, moderately wild, with ponds in which fish and turtles swim. There are no rides in the garden, but there are walking paths, benches under a canopy and stumps for relaxing in the shade. Picturesque photos are obtained here, a great place for photo shoots.

The Botanical Garden is located in the center of Sukhum. Entrance is paid. We had a vacation in July 2024. The entrance fee is 400 rubles. There are a lot of different plants in the garden. There is a bamboo grove. There is a name plate next to each plant. But to see some of them, you need to try. There are benches in the shade where you can sit down and relax. Although, the area of the park is small. Tip: take a guide, because he will tell you in detail about each plant. There is no information on the plates except the name of the plant. I did not give 5 stars, because I think that the ticket price is too high. And if you take a guide, you will have to pay extra. And so, a very beautiful place to walk. Although, modern landscape design is clearly not enough.

A botanical garden with a history of almost 200 years. For us, the inhabitants of the north, the local plants were a novelty and we were pleasantly surprised.
