A good bazaar.but ..not the one that was in the USSR.
Everything was too cluttered with awnings, stalls, as it became at the wholesale market.Only on the wholesale market they are still trading, but on the green, ALAS, they are not.Previously, everything was open and you could walk freely.

Oh, this is one of my favorite places) as for shopping, so just for an excursion. A very colorful oriental market where you can bargain, try and just communicate with people of different nationalities.
I recommend that all guests of our beloved Almaty definitely visit the bazaar!!!

Рынок с ассортиментом на любой вкус и кошелёк, когда первый раз попадаешь на территорию очень трудно сориентироваться, указателей, плана на видных местах нет. Ну и как обычно, все зависит от человеческого фактора, есть приветливые и хмурые продавцы, кто-то пытается подсунуть некачественные фрукты /овощи, кто-то обмануть с весом, но в целом атмосфера азиатского рынка очень колоритная. Можно торговаться и приобрести все, что душа пожелает. Рекомендую к посещению, но просто советую быть внимательным!

A good bazaar, at prices there is something more expensive, there is something cheaper, compared to other bazaars. Fish is expensive! There is a very good shop almost at the entrance from the side of Zhibek Zholy, which is located underground (social prices), I like it!

Ghee, cottage cheese, cheeses. Everything is very tasty. The sellers are helpful and friendly.

Сегодня, на Зелённом базаре удобная подземная парковка и оплата за парковку прекрасно, не как раньше , тогда искали всюду монету достоинством 100 и 50. Наконец паркинг на современном уровне!!! За это спасибо! Однако при покупке овощей и фруктов, Продавцы не разрешает с витрины выбирать и выбирая из подлавки засовывает некачественные продукты, одним словом это нечестная торговля. Прошу разобраться. Сегодня, удобства санузлов, показывает насколько удобно работает для клиентов. Требуется везде установить современные унитазы, есть посетители разного возраста, особенно старшего поколения. Негде в мире отсутствует такие существующие санузлы и это большой недостаток.
