I liked the castle, the surroundings are also beautiful. You can buy a souvenir from local craftsmen for a small fee (cheaper than in Minsk itself). The guide was not impressed, there was a feeling that she was conducting excursions for schoolchildren and children (the expression "And we will find out at the end of our meeting", of course surprised me. We should have received an answer to any question at the end of the tour, but unfortunately we did not receive it.
It is very beautiful and interesting. But the tour itself is a bit short - only 45 minutes with a guide, and then by yourself. Here the guide did not come across very well - she seemed to tell us emotionally and communicated with the audience, she just dragged us into the tour, but - she speaks very quickly, not loudly - I did not understand her through the word:(
A gorgeous place, very very atmospheric. I advise you to stop by, the area around the castle is very beautiful. By the time of 3-4 hours, lay it boldly. The castle is just a delight, quite large, 2 types of tours of the towers, and a museum. The feeling of time travel is present!! I recommend.
A wonderful monument to the great past. The atmosphere is very pleasant. You can take a walk in the park, you can visit the museum located in the castle. A gift shop with a wide variety of products. It is possible to take a personal tour. A great opportunity to immerse yourself in the life and lifestyle of the Radziwills. There are very few such interesting objects left in Belarus. There is enough parking on a weekday, it will be cramped on weekends. And if you stand on the bridge, near the cafe, and look into the water, under the bridge, you can see schools of fish. And don't forget a loaf to feed the ducks.
It is a very beautiful and interesting place.
Visited in early April 2024 on their own.
I liked the basements and the exits to the towers. A lot of antique armor and weapons.
Steep and narrow stairs are interesting. The history of the castle during the First World War and the Second World War is interesting. Several Soviet and Russian films were shot in the castle - "Sniper. Weapons of retribution.", "Three fun shifts"
I recommend to visit. It is 94 km away from Minsk by car.
A beautiful restored castle. Inside there are several different expositions about the castle itself and about the time of its creation and who lived in it. At the very top there are a couple of beautiful halls where they ate and hosted important guests. You can also feel how people moved along it in the old days, running up the steep and narrow stairs in the towers with tourists, and there are quite a few of them)
The territory is very well maintained. They are constantly being cleaned and trimmed. The castle itself was restored after the Second World War, ideally. Indeed, this is the place that should be visited after visiting the Republic of Belarus. The guides know the history very well and convey it to tourists in a very interesting way. The interiors of the castles are impressive.
A very interesting castle, many passages, passages, basements, you can climb the walls of the castle for a long time, it is very interesting. I have never seen such a large number of moves in any zank before. We took a quest tour (family) around the museum. I really liked it, I recommend it. Impressions of the castle are only positive. The staff is polite and helpful. At the same time, the castle is still beautiful) The castle is worthy to visit it.
It's a beautiful place, but there's not much to go through, not all the doors are open. A very expensive cafe with such a choice. In the souvenir shop, prices are also inflated. So the price of the tour is acceptable, you can take an audio guide and listen to the information moving along the route.
It's a great castle. Smaller than Nesvizh, but very interesting. We planned to spend 2-3 hours, but eventually left after almost 5. The parking lot is not large, many park outside, on the grass. The toilet is paid. Souvenir stalls near the parking lot can accept Russian rubles. It would be nice if we added benches in the park. After spending several hours on your feet, you want to sit and have to sit on the ground.
The place is very authentic and interesting. Before visiting, train your legs, most of the ascents and descents are passages in the walls, high and steep steps. On weekends there is a small theatrical performance.
A great place for the whole family to visit, it is located in a very picturesque place, there is also a very large exposition, an opportunity to explore the castle from the inside and appreciate the beauty of that time.
I was here more than 15 years ago. Of course, the difference between what was and what has become is huge. It is very beautiful and rich. It's nice to know that this is the history of our country. And that it is presented with dignity!
A great place for history lovers. This castle, together with our ancestors, experienced all the historical tragedies that befell our land. To climb the steep stairs of the towers, you need some physical training and skill)
It can be seen that a lot has been restored, there is almost no original, but it is clean, comfortable, a great place to relax and explore history. The constantly running performance inside the castle in the open air is impressive, showing various actions of ancient times and costumes and props and drumming create a historical atmosphere. It is convenient with children.
Very beautiful. It is definitely worth visiting this castle. It's beautiful, atmospheric. There is an opportunity to climb the castle towers, which offer stunning views. Interesting reconstructions. I am delighted with the visit.
A visit to the Mir castle complex in the Republic of Belarus left an unforgettable impression. This historical object impresses with its grandeur and beauty, as well as its well-preserved condition.
The castle itself is located in a picturesque place surrounded by lakes and forests. This creates a special atmosphere and makes it even more attractive for tourists.
Inside the castle you can see a lot of interesting exhibits that tell about the history of this place and how it was used in different eras. There is also a museum where various household items, weapons and other artifacts related to the life of the inhabitants of the castle are presented.
I would especially like to mention the work of the castle staff. They are very friendly, friendly and ready to help in any situation. Thanks to their efforts, visiting the castle becomes even more enjoyable and memorable.
In general, the Mir castle complex is one of the most interesting and beautiful places in Belarus, which is definitely worth a visit to anyone interested in the history and culture of this country.
I really liked it! Clean, beautiful, we got to the performance of the knight's fight. I recommend it for visiting.Iya! There are many interesting souvenirs
We were guests of the castle, we lived in a cozy hotel room. And, our impression is that we were welcome guests. Living in the castle is very atmospheric, new, unforgettable experiences! Thank you)))
The castle impressed me so much that we returned to live there. It's not worth going to the restaurant in the basement: the price tag is at the St. Petersburg level, but flies fly, and the service is perplexing. It's a pity for the owner of the establishment: the video that was invested with all my heart, but everything was ruined by the merciless level of service. By the way, this also applies to the hotel. We are planning to return anyway, as an option for a relaxing holiday - wonderful.
I've never been to castles before. This one was the second after the previously inspected castle in Nesvizh. I really liked the inside tour, wonderful interiors! Our guide told us a lot about the castle on the way there. I highly recommend visiting it, and even a second time would not hurt))
It is a very interesting and colorful place. He can get to a performance in the style of the Middle Ages. Souvenirs can be purchased at reasonable prices in the tents near the parking lot.
The complex itself is excellent and interesting, you can spend half a day in it. I will only note that the park areas are most likely not as interesting as they were when they were created. The most important disadvantage of the place is the disgusting public transport service.
Beautiful old castle, interesting to visit the tour, friendly women who work inside the halls of the castle. One even told us in detail the history of one of the halls, even what the ceiling was made of, the fabrics of the chairs and so on.A memorable lock.Towers are a separate story, these steep steps, the feet of office workers were buzzing.I can't imagine how the courtiers lived in these towers at that time...probably got up and that's it, live there)).Well, of course euphoric, memorable).I recommend.Near the castle of Mir, right across the street there is a cafe, delicious koryamyat , excellent solyanka.Even schoolchildren are taken there in groups. And there are all sorts of gifts, souvenirs in front of the castle
One of the main attractions of Belarus. Before the trip, I read how many people scold the quality of reconstruction, inaccuracies. I liked it - there is a castle, an old castle, there is a place to wander, climb, take pictures. The entrance is free, there is a place to Park, the price is small. I recommend.
A very interesting castle! Well renovated, beautiful at any time of the year! They conduct interesting excursions! There is even a hotel inside the castle and a restaurant, if desired, you can stop to relax, plunging into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages! It is located near Minsk (1.5 hours drive), there is an opportunity to drive yourself and see the attraction. I recommend you to visit!
I really liked the castle, of the many castles viewed in Belarus, this is the most interesting and the most "heavy" a lot of steep ascents up narrow stairs, it will be difficult for the elderly, children, and people with disabilities, but in general I recommend it!!
A very interesting castle. There is something to see and learn. There are many interior halls, towers are open to the public, and many passages. It feels like you've been to a real CASTLE!
An interesting tourist place, located an hour's drive from Minsk on a fairly comfortable road.
In general, it is suitable for walks and photo shoots, if you do not use the services of a guide.
If you come as part of an excursion, you will learn the whole history of the construction of this complex.
There is a cafe on the territory, we did not go in.
There is also a souvenir shop with fairly adequate prices, they accept MIR cards
It's a very atmospheric place.A beautiful old castle museum, you will have to walk through narrow loopholes into the towers (there are many steps), go down to the prison cell. There are a lot of exhibits, it took us about 2.5 hours to inspect (we were without a tour).Quiet, measured.Parking is available, excursions are available, there are benefits for large families.
I really liked the castle. Not everywhere there are signs of what and how, but in total we were delighted. Stairs to the tower are a separate moment. It's easier to climb up than to go down them later. Despite the fact that there is actually nothing at the top except the view.
I can't say about the whole complex, because we were passing through and visited only the park nearby and the inner territory, but we were still impressed. I want to come back, stay in a local hotel and fully immerse myself in this atmosphere!
A great place to walk. You can walk around the castle and see a lot of things in the castle itself. For visitors, I think that the place is a must-visit.
One of the most recognizable places. It is mandatory for tourists to visit.. It is interesting not only to look outside, but also to walk around inside. Climb the walls, go down into the dungeon. In a word, it is very interesting. I recommend.
A cool restored castle, the exposition is not very large. I remember: excellent physical loading when climbing / descending the stairs of the towers (narrow and steep).
An incredibly beautiful castle with a fascinating history🔥We didn't have time for the tour, but we ate at the Belarusian cuisine restaurant in the basement of the castle. From the mere thought that princes once dined there.
An incredibly beautiful castle, we have long dreamed of visiting it! It is one of the four UNESCO monuments on the territory of Belarus. We were very lucky with the weather, walked around the museum complex, and then had a delicious breakfast in the castle restaurant. I definitely recommend you to visit!
An excellent historical complex. Excellent museum exposition. All historical epochs of the castle's existence are presented.
Perfect for a family visit. There is a beautiful park area around the castle.
Interesting, beautiful. Keep in mind that a huge number of people are moving up and down the stairs in the towers, so if you want to have time to see everything, come for the whole day. Then you will slowly walk through everything and take a walk near the castle.
It's a good place, you can feel the history, it's a pity that there are a lot of new clothes and it shows. and so everything is well-groomed. it is interesting to see, and take a walk if the weather is good, the same is normal.
The rare beauty of the castle-fortress was liked by both children and adults. Interesting objects and interiors, climbing inside walls and towers is a separate quest)
In the castle itself, I would advise you to take an excursion (book in advance).
Near the entrance there is a small Parking lot (a little further, to the castle, there is another one), several souvenir shops, a restaurant. In summer, there is also a cafe and parking behind the castle in the town.
The castle itself also has a restaurant and a great hotel: comfortable modern rooms, very friendly staff.
Of the minuses: the backlight is turned on for 1 hour, from 20.30 to 21.30 - at other times even the paths are not illuminated, you will have to walk to the hotel from the parking lot in the dark by touch (thanks again to the staff - they helped and conducted).
A great historical place, suitable for a trip with the whole family, for those who love the history of their country, this is what you need, the ticket price is adequate, children get a discount
A beautiful historical place! When I get to such places, I always think how cool it is! After all, so many people have been living here for hundreds of years, doing something. I wish I could look at them for at least 5 minutes.
P.S. In summer, you can die from the heat in this castle.
It's a very beautiful place. It's like going back to the Middle Ages. The tour is informative, at an acceptable price. There is a hotel right in the castle, its cost was not recognized.
A very beautiful and sincere place! We were with my husband in May 2024. We liked everything! Interesting museum expositions, a convenient audio guide with which we could listen to all the important and interesting facts about the museum's exposition without waiting for a group tour accompanied by a guide)
A beautiful place and a museum, we did our best. It is interesting to walk along the wall, there are many moves, although the family got tired quickly. Take water with you, if you go to the wall, it will come in handy.
There are a lot of new models, the museum is interesting
You need to take a ticket with walls, climbing these stairs is fun, but you need loose clothes and good shoes
