In hot weather, the air conditioning works strongly in the hall, so it is impossible to stay there, especially with children. Everyone tends to sit on the terrace, there is a chance not to freeze.
With a waiter, if you are lucky, you may get a kind one, but there are also those who will not please you. Our response to quite reasonable remarks was that the hot dish was brought cold, the soup was waited for an hour, he was very unhappy and showed it with all his appearance.
The menu is very varied, but the portions are small.

I've heard a lot about the restaurant, I was in Belarus a year ago, even then it seemed mediocre. This year, in early August, we arrived in Vitebsk and ordered delivery from the Cornflower restaurant. The result is unacceptably low quality.
* Herring salad under a fur coat. Not bad, but nothing good either. A very average salad for three.
* Pancakes with mushroom gravy, it is difficult to give more than 3.5. And probably only because it is difficult to spoil potatoes with mushrooms.
* Solyanka - it was so salty that it was simply impossible to eat it.
* Pancakes with sour cream - they just arrived undercooked.
As a result, not only was the food mediocre, but it was simply impossible to eat half of the order.

05.08.2024 visited this cafe with my mother, having read good reviews on the Internet. We ordered 2 servings of pancakes with sour cream. The waiter girl took the order and left. As it turned out, for a long time. 40 minutes have passed. During this time, all the visitors who came later than us have already brought their orders. When we finally saw our waiter, we asked when the pancakes would be ready. The girl said she would find out in the kitchen now. She left and disappeared for another 10 minutes. Then she reappeared at our table and was "delighted" that our pancakes were just starting to fry. We refused to wait and left the cafe. It's a pity for the time spent. The impression of the place is spoiled.

We were a company of 4 people, all for the first time in Belarus. The food in this wonderful establishment is amazing!
The staff of the institution is very polite and attentive! The only thing that upset us a little was the set of tinctures, we all agreed that there was not enough density and saturation of taste, but this did not spoil the overall impression.
I definitely recommend it and I will come myself!

In food, each of us loves his own. And it is very difficult for the cook to please the next customer of the restaurant. Personally, I was fascinated by the quality of the food I ordered: juicy ribs - a large piece of meat melting in my mouth; amazing borscht - reminded me of the one my mother cooked; draniki - after tasting which, I realized why this dish is so popular. The cherry on the cake was a glass of cold, fresh Alivaria lager beer - after a couple of sips, I realized what the pleasure of life was at this moment. Today we once again came to the Cornflowers restaurant in Vitebsk. And as usual, everything is at a very high level. I really liked the service of a waiter named Maxim, unfortunately I do not know his last name, but in my opinion this is how all waiters should work. The man is clearly in his place. When visiting Cornflowers, there is always a good mood, but today it is generally above all praise because of communication with Maxim. Now about the kitchen. There were pork ribs, soft and juicy, and pork with fried mushrooms. In general, delicious. Pineapple smoothie is one of the new products, I would like it to be on the menu all the time. We visited Cornflowers in Minsk a year ago - we really liked the service and dishes, that's why we decided to go to an already familiar network in Vitebsk.
There is only one network, but the service and culinary skills have something to strive for, unfortunately we were not lucky and we did not get the pleasure expected from the dishes.

We were in different Cornflowers in Minsk. Vitebsk did not disappoint! Everything is delicious, fragrant, the portions are large, the choice is decent. The food was not waited for long, everything is fresh, the salad with dried tomatoes is well seasoned with sauce, there is a lot of cheese. We didn't like it very much!
The situation is as follows: we decided to visit this institution in Vitebsk, we did not book a table, we stood in a live queue (no questions asked, we stood and waited)
When we sat down at the table, the waitress came up after 15 minutes to take the order, and informed us that the waiting time for hot dishes was up to 1 hour, since the flow of people was large (one waitress served at least 8 tables).
After 1 hour, the order was brought (pancakes with machanka in Belarusian), and it was not possible to eat it!
The pancakes are undercooked, over-salted, and the machanka is made as if from leftovers, it has a lot of flour, lard, sausage)
After eating (and did not eat half of this dish), we went to the pharmacy with a direct tip, because the whole family's stomachs were twisted.
I don't know how the rest of the menu is, but I don't recommend pancakes with machanka.
PS: the lemonade with currants was delicious.
Bottom line: the impression of Belarusian cuisine is ruined, the evening is ruined, my stomach hurts!

Since this restaurant is known as a restaurant with affordable prices and an extensive menu with national cuisine, quite a lot of guests come and many remain dissatisfied with this situation. The staff is not very hospitable, they talk about the lack of places with irritation, running past. Usually the work of the waiters is controlled by the administrator, this is not visible here. The staff is slow and everything is somehow on its own. As a result, we asked several times to remove the vacant table so that we could finally sit down. There was no reaction. Finally, I had to literally take the waiter by the hand to the table and ask him to remove it. The dishes were carried for a long time, I did not like the food. A hastily heated billet, apparently. We visited this place as a recommended chain restaurant with national cuisine, but were dissatisfied. We won't come here anymore.

The taste turned out to be tough and with a bad film layer. At the same time, as it turned out, there was a change of supplier and therefore such a low quality. The ribs were already ordered before us and returned the same way. It is not clear why the waiter did not warn against ordering, but in the kitchen they missed such a return. 1. Fried mozzarella with sweet and spicy sauce - perhaps it is worth putting the sauce separately so that it does not heat up while it is being transported?
2. Dumplings with potatoes baked with mushroom sauce do not look at all like in your photo on the website. Where's the chopped bacon and herbs? we undercooked the dumplings a little and put slices of bacon, it's not very pleasant when you expect something else.
