Direct universal praise in all blogs-I did not understand, the place is good, inside it is nice, traditional, cozy, the staff is OK, the price tag is average. But wow, it's not at all, it's not even very tasty for me.
We tried the pancakes, as it should be, but they were too greasy and bland, for my taste, I took them with a machanka-not interesting, in general, not interesting, the companion was pancakes with beef goulash, goulash was good and tinctures, I liked raspberry. I chose a local dark beer-it was delicious, I liked it.

I give three stars only for the fact that one dish was cooked well, and for the service of the administrator. The second was half cooked, the string beans were not fully cooked, the tomatoes were cut just terribly, just a huge tomato was cut in half, the white core that occupies half of the tomato was not even removed. The vodka glasses are dirty, smudges just from all sides, as if they hadn't washed it.
The beer glass is cracked in half. They noticed when they were drinking, but there could be fragments in the glass. But to say thank you to the administrator of this institution, she apologized and offered free drinks.

We, as guests of the city, were praised by Cornflowers, they said - we must definitely try it. We decided to choose this location for tasting. There are no hostesses in the establishment, you choose the place yourself, which is strange, because the waiters don't even keep track of who comes and who goes. To get the menu, the waiter was caught between the tables. The order was never accepted from us, they waited 15-20 minutes and left disappointed. I do not know on what days and at what time you need to come to be served, but we apparently did not get into this timing.

We ordered a table and several dishes from the menu for a certain time. Everything was covered. The hot dish was brought in 5 minutes. Everything is fine. Fast service and cooking. All orders are additional.the BDUs, including hot ones, were ready in 5-7 minutes. Good prices, except for alcoholic beverages (2.5 times margin). Polite waiters. Great view from the tables near the window. Especially on the evening Forecourt.

To visit Minsk and not check in at the Cornflower restaurant queue is like not being in Belarus, since the institution is next to the train station and there was time available. We have always adored this national cuisine chain, but this time there was a strong disappointment.
1. It is very difficult to find a place, but after you have sat down, you wait for enough time until the menu is brought to you.
2. I do not know how it happened, but we came to the next table at the same time, while we were looking at the menu, he had already made an order and it had already been brought to him, we called the waiter several times to take our order, the man at the next table was already paying.
3. Delicious dishes: borscht and solyanka, but the dishes were brought cool, the salad bed is at the highest level.
4. Pancakes with red fish are disgusting, the portion consisted of three small pieces of fish, and three huge pancakes - which were made as if from bitter potatoes, it was impossible to eat, the waiter took the dish away, usually either this dish is not included in the bill, or a replacement is offered, here they just silently included in the bill and no comments were given on this issue.

Cornflowers in the shopping center next to the train station is the most lame cafe I've been to lately. We were very poorly served. They did not have ice, respectively, they could not make half of the drinks (they went with the mood to drink cold drinks). In addition, they could remove ads with a selection of seasonal lemonades from the table, since they can't make them anyway.
They couldn't put us in properly, although we went in and warned that in three hours we would come with suitcases and a disabled person, that we needed a comfortable place.
The staff / kitchen simply does not have time to serve half of the landing, so there are kilometer-long queues from all entrances, which mix with each other and are very actively in conflict.
The waiters are unable to serve dishes to all the guests at the table at once. The soup was brought to one person, the others sat looking at each other while the soup was cooling, although we asked to serve everything at once. The waitress rolled her eyes at additional questions about the dishes, clucked while choosing a drink from what they can provide on Sunday in the middle of the day.
They brought a cold mix of dumplings and dumplings with potatoes. There were bones in a dish with dumplings with cherries. The waitress again rolled her eyes and explained that they did not sort through the semi-finished products, as they brought, so they brought.
Thus, the receipt was not at all budget-friendly for such an entourage and service.
If it is possible to choose another place for the meal, do it.
And another mega important thing: do not take cream sauce for pancakes, make a choice in favor of sour cream, it is definitely tastier.

If that's what I recommend to everyone, the borscht there is excellent rich with a huge lump of meat + they also offer black buckwheat, take it. This will complement the composition.
And tell me why I put 4 stars, and not 5 if everything was so good. Then they just brought the second one, it was a frying pan with sausages, eggs and pancakes. And there is a nuance with draniki. If you have never eaten homemade pancakes in your life, then it will seem to you that everything is fine. And if you ate, you will immediately feel what they should be. And not potatoes ground in a blender with a predominance of flour additives. I didn't eat pancakes, but aladushki with the smell of potatoes. So you'll be in Cornflowers, eat borscht, and make pancakes better at home.

Today the whole family visited the cafe "Cornflowers".
The parents (pensioners) wanted to go out somewhere to sit in the city. I suggested your cafe. I was here for the last time about 5 years ago (I live in another city now).
To be honest, nothing has changed in 5 years. Well, if only it got better. Everything is at the highest level: food, serving, service, attentive waiters and the administrator. We needed a table for 6 people. There was a queue at the entrance. And it's understandable why people are willing to queue up to get here! The girl politely asked to wait for a table to be available. Our waiter Abrazhevich Maxim (I'm sorry if the last name is spelled incorrectly!) is just a laaaaapochka. A professional in his field!!! Very attentive, nice and polite.
The parents were very pleased and even decided to take it as a tradition to gather at your place. Good luck to you, good visitors and thank you for a wonderful evening!

Unfortunately...My favorite Cornflowers upset me ...there was a transfer from the train to the train station in Minsk...I had 40 minutes at my disposal for breakfast...I ordered oatmeal with banana from the breakfast menu.... But the last time we came at 11:00 and waited for our order until 11:50, we left hungry and angry. We were also late for work. The waiter is hibernating, did not warn that you need to wait a long time, after 35 minutes he said that another 3 minutes and the order would be delivered, 15 minutes passed and then he says "Another 10 minutes you need to wait." And this is not about the main dishes of beef, for example, which take a long time to cook, but about pancakes.
Now I will think 10,000 times to come to this institution.

My young and beloved wife, unlike me (but of course I rarely eat in restaurants and therefore for me their prices are something very expensive ..) liked everything! We visited 3 of the entire network of these Minsk national restaurants (in the shopping center Skala, on Lenin Street and at the Train Station with windows on the hotel and towers). National flavor, cast iron plates, delicious and varied national dishes and most importantly a large number of young people who very quickly and kindly serve a very large number of visitors (especially in the city center). But one thing I have learned very clearly is that the way my beloved wife feeds me at home is practically (in density, richness and taste) equivalent to the best menu of Minsk national restaurants. From the homemade borscht I cooked, I will be able to get a wonderful national hodgepodge for a lot of money within 2 minutes (adding 2 slices of lemon, 2 olives and a finely chopped piece of half-smoked sausage lying in the refrigerator).. And I will try to keep silent about the pancakes, although I could not deny myself the pleasure of tasting this national dish in his homeland.
In general, we really liked everything from the forks and spoons of the Tramontino brand to the homemade bread kvass.

This is the lame restaurant at this address! The worst of all that there is in the city! It all started with the fact that we asked for a table by the window. This is one time. Secondly, we waited for the dishes to be served for forty minutes on Monday at 12 o'clock. It would have been fine, but all the food was cold. When asked why this happened, I was offered to reheat it in the microwave. Super! In a word - A DINER!
I do not recommend visiting this particular restaurant located at this address! There are no complaints about other Cornflowers all over Minsk - it's always delicious!
