Cornflowers. Oh! It's hard to write a review. 3 out of 5 or 7 out of 10. Why 7 out of 10? Near the train station and open until 0:00, even though it is a shopping center.
Now about 3 out of 5. Prices are normal. But the food, damn. Guys, well, this is a classic! When a soup is made in which there is cabbage, it is cut so that it fits in a spoon!! I had 5-6 centimeters each! I didn't have enough napkins to wipe my beard :) Although there were no problems with them, appliances, salt shakers, napkins, everything is in abundance.
To taste. I sat waiting for the train for three hours. I had to try a lot. Alcohol has an acceptable (by Moscow measures) price tag. Food is expensive, like everywhere else in the beautiful city of Minsk. But the taste is 3 out of 5. That is, you can eat, but this is not a restaurant option. The restaurant should not be like a canteen 3 out of 5. At least 4! But no. Just mediocre food.
I never write about maintenance. It's a matter of chance and mood. This time I was satisfied with 7 out of 10.
Location. It depends on how to choose a table. Either this is a cozy corner, or a passageway from the escalator to the elevator of the shopping center.
Conclusion: probably, the next time I visit Minsk before the train, I will try to find some other place. But if I don't find it, I'll be happy to come here. Normal. It is possible and necessary to do better, but OK, I repeat.

And what? It's quite decent for a "canteen"! I communicate a lot with different people and have never heard a positive review. My experience is also, alas, sad. The service and the quality of the dishes, at the level of the dining room, are decent. At the cafe level… With a big stretch. At the restaurant level, definitely not! Summary: everything will do for a very hungry person, but for a leisurely and pleasant meal, I do not recommend this network.

We had dinner and breakfast. I liked the choice of dishes, a lot of national dishes. Delicious desserts. And the beer cocktail Hoppy cherry is very popular, delicious and light. The panoramic view of the Gates of Minsk in the evening lights became a romantic addition to the dinner. We refreshed ourselves in the morning so that it lasted almost until the evening! I really wanted national dishes. But there are few of them in this institution. On weekends, queues , although there are empty tables, they just do not remove dirty dishes from them. After 20-30 minutes, they just clear the table and seat new visitors. The expectation of food is also high , the draniki were waiting for 40 minutes . It seemed to me that draniki tastes better in Russia . And so atmospheric of course. In principle, I recommend it .

These are the fourth Cornflowers that I visited in Minsk, and they seemed to me the best. The menu is the same everywhere, but the atmosphere!!! A huge number of seats, which is why even in the evening we could choose a table. At the same time, the choice is for every taste: at the panoramic window, just in the hall and away from the eyes. There is also a choice of tables - ordinary chairs are placed to one, bar chairs to the second, and comfortable sofas to the third. The chefs and waiters, as elsewhere, are on top.

Everything spoils the entrance. You arrive on the escalator. There is silence all around, you pass by, you are overtaken by a waitress who casually throws - there is waiting for us outside the door.
It turns out there is a door, there is an administrator who clearly saw you, but did not take a step. They tell you that your place is outside the door because you are disturbing the waiters.
And okay, I'm hungry, I found a place. You wait a long time for the waiter, another 10 minutes pass. He accepts the order and it turns out that the wait is more than 40 minutes. He is afraid that this is the maximum waiting time. But he's lying - half of the order is brought to your table, another soup, another person sat without food for an hour, and still sits.
It's not just bad. It's disgusting.
PS I will not write to the post office - everything is happening right now, food has already been brought to everyone, dumplings were cooked for more than an hour for the fourth person

There is a queue outside of those who want to enter the restaurant! It is quite crowded inside, by the evening there are a lot of drunk and noisy male companies. I didn't like the potato dish from the national cuisine, some kind of slimy casserole with pork rinds. The restaurant is not cheap, but I cannot say that it is delicious and cozy. The children's menu is meager. I definitely won't go a second time.
