But I want to focus separately on some dishes that need to be served in a different way, for example, hominy, it is cooked in advance and you serve it as "frozen wheat porridge", I understand perfectly well that it is difficult to serve such a dish with individual cooking. But it can be done in a different way, before serving, you can stir a small saucepan with boiled water and bring it to a boil and it will feel like you have just boiled it. I would like to note separately about your recipe for lyulya kebab, lyulya kebab is tasteless, you have a Cook's waitress, I told her the recipe for lyulya kebab, which is of great value. ( (If she missed it, please unsubscribe and I'll tell you). According to the work of the waitresses, they confuse who is carrying what every day, because there is no clear link to the table, everything is carried in a row, one person can understand the order, three dishes are brought by three different people. And that's why the swan, the crab, and the pike didn't bring three dishes for one dinner. On the first day, we ate two dishes that had nothing to do with our table, and in the following days we realized that it was normal practice to carry other people's dishes to other tables.

We had a rest in New Athos for the New Year. The cafe was recommended at the hotel. Indeed, we have visited many establishments, but the food tastes best here. We ordered a lot of dishes, the portions are average, but very satisfying! I especially loved Kharcho soup!!! A separate plus is the staff. We were served most often by Cook, thanks to her we felt warmth, comfort and cordiality. This restaurant is quite a popular place, so sometimes there was a big influx of guests. The restaurant's receptionist always came up, apologized and warned that she would have to wait a bit. It's a small thing, but such attention to customers is very pleasant!!! I definitely recommend the cafe!

The waiting time is 15-20 minutes, it all depends on the workload. There are a lot of people at lunch, come a little later.
I advise everyone to try salmon steak (a dish on coals) very tasty, I sat and enjoyed it. The egg boat is also fiery!!! Lykhny red semi-sweet wine is excellent!!! But the kebab did not leave a special impression, especially after the fish, but here everyone has their own taste, of course.

This year, a new cafe was opened opposite the first one. The cafe is an open veranda, in a modern style, good furniture is not Abkhazian. Everything is very stylish, beautiful tables and interior. It's stuffy because it's still an open place. The menu is mixed. At lunchtime, there are slight delays in the time of serving dishes. The boat is baked in a wood-burning oven, kebabs are right next to it on the grill. Kharcho, in my opinion, is a little empty in taste, the broth is rich, there is a lot of meat, there was a lack of coriander, spice and garlic. The cheese sauce is excellent, liquid cheddar. Homemade dumplings are quite tasty, homemade. But chacha, which is homemade, just ruined the whole impression, just acetone, I do not advise ordering it. Overall a good place, worth a visit.

We came here on the last day of our vacation and were pleasantly surprised!
Very tasty trout, the best boat that we tried during the whole vacation (and we ate in places of different price segments). Pleasant waiters bring everything when ready, the whole order was ready in 15 minutes, which is very fast for a dish on the grill. Two trout + 1L juice + boat + service came out ~ 2000 rubles - this is an excellent price for such a delicious lunch.

If you want to spoil your impression of the new Athos, then come here! On October 29, the family came to this cafe. I ordered a beef cradle, they brought me pork. Beef there, according to my feelings, was 20 percent. And they charged us like a beef cradle. We ordered khinkali for the child. They couldn't bring them even after an hour! I would have already managed to make them, or even cook them. We reminded the waiter about the hinkals several times, and an hour later there was such an answer: we changed the water. As a result, the child was left hungry. I had to go to another cafe after that, the chacha is terrible! I tried it for the first time. Solid alcohol. And the cherry on the cake: juice from tangerines. Which had more than half a pumpkin in it. Aren't you ashamed? Tangerines grow on almost every tree, and you even manage to deceive people on this. The only thing we liked was tandoor pita bread. The stove maker is well done! The girl at the bar should at least change her facial expression a little, otherwise with such a "royal" look, she can only stand at the bar. I hope the owner of the establishment will devote time not to fake reviews, but to real improvement of the service. I know very good establishments in Abkhazia and in new Athos, in particular. You can't get far on such reviews. We will not come again, but we will definitely not stop at this place.

We had a rest in New Athos in June 2024. After visiting various establishments in the city, we chose this cafe for ourselves as the best in terms of price / quality. The food is really delicious and the portions are large. For me, the big minus is that there has never been bread!!! You ask for a piece of bread - they say no, there is only homemade pita bread. There are no questions about pita bread, it is very tasty, hot, straight from the oven with a crispy crust. But what if I don't need a huge pita bread, I want 1 piece of bread! This spoiled the overall impression.

Conveniently located, delicious food, quite cozy. We were here on April 30, 2024, passing through. I take off one star for the fact that there was an incident - they ordered one khachapur and some kind of salad (I don't remember anymore). They were never brought to us. We waited for about 40 minutes while we finished and finished, reminded the waitress about our additional order, waited another 20 minutes (we were already sitting at a clean table, without food). They asked for a settlement and checked the receipt. We really hope that this was not done on purpose - there were really a lot of people that day. Khachapur and salad were eventually brought and taken with them. The place is cool, but, tourists, do not lose your vigilance! For tired waiters, keep an eye on them!

After reading the reviews, we visited this institution.
Pros: delicious food, interesting interior.
Cons: there is no toilet, a fairly small room and therefore there are always a lot of people, the doors to the street are open and there is no sense in having a toilet, well, the most important minus is the staff. They serve reluctantly, there is hatred for visitors on their faces (perhaps due to fatigue), our order was mixed up (partially) and they did not bring what we asked for, well, finally they overestimated the amount of the bill. I paid with my card (inserted the card into the terminal, dialed the PIN code and took the card). Then the waiter came and said that the payment had not passed and the procedure had to be repeated. I didn't have the phone number that the card is linked to with me, so I couldn't verify the payment. And as a result, I found out at the hotel that I paid the bill twice with a difference of 1 minute.

We visited the cafe "Like mom's 2" in the new location ..., 1 star, for the fact that, unlike the previous cafe, there was a toilet. A well-groomed menu with traces of tasted dishes, untidiness on the tables and in the toilet. The lamb and pork shish kebab served turned out to be charred, the sauce for the shish kebab was not offered, ordered separately, French fries were brought after the order reminder. Another 1 star for khachapur. The waiters are extremely unwelcoming. In general, we had a snack, I didn't want to spoil the mood and point out the shortcomings, but we don't recommend visiting the institution and we won't go in anymore.

But my natural needs were beyond my strength, I asked to show me the bathroom while we were waiting. The girl refused quite harshly, said that the toilet was for guests only. And we're probably not their guests.

I must say right away- here is the best price and quality of the product. There are a lot of people in the evening, which indicates a good reputation. As for the waiting time, this is quite natural, considering how many people come there. It is better to wait and have a delicious meal like here than to be served quickly, but with some kind of joint.
Cheesecakes cost 200 rubles, and the serving is 700 rubles! In short, guys, if you are in Abkhazia, we have experimentally established that it is better to go only here. There are no problems during the entire stay there.

This year we came with friends, and we were happy to have lunch, having advertised the cafe. But it feels like the owner and all the staff will change this year. Pilaf was brought to the child with undercooked rice.And it didn't look much like pilaf (they tried to bring it to readiness in the microwave, but it didn't work out very well), the boats in the simplest cafe refused to taste much tastier, in general, it took a long time to list.The result is that we will not go any more and will not advise anyone.

The best cafe we could find in New Athos .To the content in others , it was simply impossible to eat .Therefore , 4 stars .Food for 4-ku - you can eat.However, the kebab is sometimes over-dried, then over-salted, and it did not work out to eat.Noodle soup and mashed potatoes on water .Maybe someone will like it, tastes are different.I liked khinkali , salads, desserts , and delicious oriental coffee .Unfortunately, there were some problems with the service all the time, they apparently did not listen to the standards of service in customer service, the administrator does not monitor the work of the wards, cleanliness, the toilet is often broken, does not flush and does not close.The waiters are tortured, I understand that they work every day for 12 hours, but I came to rest, and not look at their tortured faces, wait until they pay attention to me and listen to dissatisfaction. Lyulya kebab is not a kebab at all..... the husband did not even eat. It smelled strange, maybe the heat gave him a kick..... Thanks to the staff for removing him from the bill, nice and fair. By the way, there are few staff (2 people), the room itself is also small. It's decorated prettily.

Excellent design , atmosphere, dishes , food quality tastes 7/10 . Huge disadvantages for the attitude towards the guests! The staff is too incompetent , it is clear what is happening in the kitchen (it would be better not to see what and how it is happening there and stored) , the waiter (namely Aida) allows himself to lean on the table with his elbows when accepting an order , can allow without permission to pick up a dish from a nearby table to show how it looks🤦🏽♀️ , you need to ask for the bill to be brought several times (and this was all not only with us , but also with other visitors - we observed it all personally ourselves). We allow the staff to sit in the middle of the hall and loudly discuss how they work in this institution and what salaries they have and the proceeds of the cafe.
In some words , it 's a pity that such a good cafe is sinking because of the staff , it could be a very cool place ! And yes, there is no bathroom in this cafe ! Which is very surprising to all visitors (because they come here mostly with children )
