An excellent train station, as well as the city itself. Clean, warm. Convenient access by car and public transport. The information boards are clear - you won't get lost!
A great train station. On the second floor there is a chic lounge and a restaurant. You can sit out a couple of hours without any problems. There aren't many people. There is nothing to do around the station in the evening
Honestly, the station is beautiful, there are no words. But... Only a wealthy person can eat and go to the toilet.Considering the fact that many tourists come to Vitebsk, the toilet (especially the paid one) could have been done better. And instead of buffets, make a small dining room (cafe) where you could eat normally. On the example of the Minsk railway. The railway station.
the station is not bad, there is a restaurant, but it is expensive, but they are very conveniently located next to the station, when people do not know where else to eat and go much closer
The disgusting online ticket sales system on the BCH website. It seems that I made an order, here it is in my cart, I need to pay. But that's how I couldn't make the payment. I called tech.support, they say the code is assigned to the ERIP system, I did not see this code. I have an invoice coming from the house management, there is a link to upload the invoice to the online Belarusbank and I comm.payments are made every day. I pay for a month in 20 seconds. And there are some problems here. As a result, I spent 20 minutes, and I couldn't buy a ticket. He spat. I bought a ticket through the website tutu.ru (I paid with a credit card), I did everything in 5 minutes. And on the BCH website, the payment system is somehow not very good, it takes a long time to pick and figure it out. In general, it is not made for people. Very bad.
Nice modern train station (very close to the bus station). A three-minute walk away is one of the main streets (Kirov), which turns into the Kirov Bridge. In general, both stations are located directly in the city.
It was built in the neoclassical style. The cash desks are located on the ground floor of cafes, shops, and an exchange office. On the second floor there is a waiting room. Clean, cozy. Toilets, restrooms. The exit to the city is very beautifully decorated - a kind of gate with an alley and all this is illuminated.
Beautiful architecture, brilliance and beauty inside, but behind the beautiful wrapper there is complete indifference to people. There are only 2 benches for the entire huge hall on the first floor. People have to stand for hours waiting for trains and queues at the ticket office. At the same time, the station administration was not too lazy to print and spread out a piece of paper on each wide window sill, forbidding to sit down and put bags there!
I was at the train station with only one purpose: to pay for honey. services. A trifle, only 11 rubles. The recipient of the payment has an account with Belinvestbank. It was Sunday, and on Monday morning it should have already been paid. Maybe I don't understand something in this life? But, gentlemen bankers, don't you think that taking a commission of more than 30% from an individual for a payment to a legal entity - your client - is at least too much!
Everything you need is there, shops, stalls, exchangers, coffee, snacks, even a hairdresser are nearby. A beautiful large station building. A big disadvantage with constantly busy Parking, sometimes it is very difficult to find a place. And of course there are only 1-2 working ticket offices, I have never seen more, no matter how many people came. There are also few places to wait for the train, you have to occupy window sills that say do not put things on!!!
The train station is for sports-trained people traveling light: there are so many stairs to overcome between the luggage room and the right platform that you can tear off your back while you carry things. Maybe there was some secret route of direct access from the luggage room to platform 3 without traveling up and down all the stairs, but it is not obvious to a tourist who finds himself at the station for the first time.
I think Vitebsk is one of the most beautiful railway stations in Belarus. Everything is clear and accessible. The cashiers at the ticket sales were responsive.
I was passing through...I liked the station, cleanly neat, of course there are disadvantages about the cafe that is located there (very incomprehensible prices), but in general everything is fine ...
I want to especially mention the Interior Ministry staff at the station, they are polite, they will prompt and show everything ...
Not like in the capital in Minsk, it feels like people were put on a uniform and they felt themselves gods (incompetence, rudeness)
So for the record.
What can we say about any place where there were no difficulties? I think it's nothing. As for me , I liked everything . There are smoking areas, rest areas, though it's hard to make out what they mumble at times
A clean and very beautiful train station, Wi-Fi is excellent.available scoreboards, waiting areas.I regret that I did not visit the restaurant on the second floor.
A very cool railway station, from which trains run to Minsk, Polotsk, Orsha and other cities. There are many cafes nearby. Great location. Magnificent renovation
It's a beautiful place. Not only the beauty, but also the full functionality. Everything is thought out. Comfortable, clean. I really liked it. Perhaps I haven't seen a better train station yet.
Everything is not bad, the staff is friendly, there are pavilions where you can buy food, there is a recreation area on the second floor. The only drawback is that there is very little lighting, so it creates a feeling of discomfort
A good train station, everything you need to eat. There are many ATMs and a 24-hour exchanger. But there is not enough escalator to climb the bridge to the platforms with heavy suitcases.
Awful. A clueless crossing on the way. The only thing is that there is an elevator inside the station and where to have a snack on the second floor. And it's so disgusting, disgusting playground like in the whole city. For forty years, I've only had the sense from the authorities to cut down century-old Christmas trees and buy paints for the facade)
A very beautiful train station, there is a lot of cafes, a paid toilet, you can buy souvenirs, there is a pretty good coffee machine near the elevator. I advise everyone to go if they don't even need to go somewhere.
Beautiful, spacious, everything you need to eat. And what kind of pies with condensed milk are there... Mmm, it's just a pity that the toilet is only for cash, it is extremely inconvenient)))
I love our train station, and it is beautiful, and convenient, and the working people (from cleaners, cashiers, to the authorities) are polite and pleasant.
Beauty! The magnificent architecture of the Stalinist Empire, the square in front of the building, thuja covered with snow and artistic lighting create a romantic atmosphere in the evening. Clean, tidy, as everywhere in Belarus.
It is not a very convenient transition to the platforms, up high stairs. They're cleaned, but it's still slippery. Be careful. Walk carefully!
Super train station . Not a train station , but a fairy tale . Super design . Everything will be fine . There are places to sit outside and in the building on the second floor.
It was possible to say a span, waiting, as the locals say, for a diesel engine. There are not many people, calmly, without crowding, I took the tickets and left. Yes, the cafe or buffet, I don't know what to call it, is good. You can have a snack without consequences for the stomach.
How can you pay for a toilet at the train station! It's a shame. The second question is about the storage chambers. When buying a cell, we were told that we pay 2.30 for 1 day. We came in the afternoon to take some things, we were told to pay another 2p. For some reason, the day is not counted, for example, from 11.00 am on 14.07 to 11.00 on 15.07, but at 00.00 on 15.07! How can this be? And even when they took everything away at night, they paid another 2.30. They paid THREE times, what impudence and who even came up with the idea to take money like that
The toilet is clean.the staff is polite, the location is convenient, you can get anywhere in the city, the platforms are clean and wide. The recreation room is nice, and there is even a mother and child room.
It is a very beautiful train station, there is a lot of free space, but there are not enough seats. It can be cold in the room itself, which is already uncomfortable to be in the room. Unfortunately, no businesses are open at night
Vitebsk railway Station is not just a transport hub, it is a place with a rich history and culture. Passengers can enjoy the architecture of the building, which combines classic and modern elements. The station is clean and cozy inside. It is easy to find information about train schedules and purchase tickets without unnecessary hassle. The station offers various services for a comfortable waiting for the train.
5 stars only for the service at the ticket offices of the station. Always friendly, beautiful Ladies. Everyone will be calmly listened to and served. Very pleasant. We thought it was an isolated case, but no!!! Always. At any time of the year. Nice. Bravo and many thanks for the excellent service🌺🌺🌺
Everything is fine! The staff is cultured and polite. The location is excellent:ticket offices, platforms.Everything is convenient. The toilets are always clean.Parking nearby is very convenient.
Convenient location. There are more than enough seats for waiting. There are shops and eateries nearby. You can also have a snack inside the station. And the most important thing today is A FREE RACK FOR CHARGING GADGETS!!!
Conveniently located, there is a bus station nearby, and public transport is within walking distance. There are places where you can have a snack for 24 hours. The availability of a 24h exchanger, as well as flowers and souvenirs 24h. There is a waiting area with charging gadgets, as well as a zone of increased comfort for relaxation. A paid toilet and 24-hour storage rooms are required.
Everything seems to be like everywhere else in small towns and train stations. But, it is unusual to "go back to the past", when in Russia for a long time visiting the toilet is free, and even a ticket does not need to be shown, but here the toilet is paid and only for cash. If you have just arrived and do not have the local currency, or you are already leaving and got rid of Belarusian cash, then diapers will help you. I was lucky that I had an extra Belarusian 1 ruble in my wallet - my savior. The price of a visit is 1 bel. ruble, which is 30 rubles for Russian money in our opinion, and 32-34 rubles for theirs. That's if they also want to change. Most of them don't need our rubles there. But for the rest: clean, calm. Information about trains is broadcast in local and Russian languages. Everything is in Belarusian on the scoreboard, but it is easy to understand.
This is a very old train station. It was there even before I was born. And he grew up with me. He's transformed again today. Pavilions appeared. There is an ELEVATOR at the train station!!!! It's cool) Pleasant BELZHD staff. The toilet is very cheap. One disadvantage is the metal seats . Tin!
Very good indeed. Comfortable. You can relax and have a snack. The staff is good.Security, which is not unimportant. The Peron is good, convenient for all categories of passengers. The sculptural composition is interesting.
Unlocking a cell in the storage room is quite a quest. When you enter the cell number and then the code, the numbers are dialed absolutely randomly, regardless of what you press. Therefore, when handing over things, pay attention to the work schedule of the attendant, so that it does not work out like mine: the keyboard does not obey (it still worked out from the tenth time), the attendant has lunch, and the train is not going to wait.
Everything is beautifully renovated... But the station is convenient only when the train arrives or departs from the first track. All its advantages and beautiful repairs fade when the train arrives on the second, third and other tracks. To overcome an obstacle in the form of a pedestrian bridge and even if you have luggage in your hands is a real test, especially for the elderly.
