I haven't been to Vitebsk for 8 years, the station has changed dramatically for the better, but the waiting room, on the second floor with iron benches, is terrible! If someone from the administration would try to sit on this bench for two or three hours in winter, they would understand what I mean

The train station is located not far from the center, within walking distance. There is also a mini-cafe, as well as a restaurant. Parking is relatively small, because it can sometimes be difficult to find a place, especially during rush hour. The path to the platforms is quite convenient, but cleaning that very path to the platforms does the best, because sometimes there is a terrible stench. Fortunately, it does not take long to buy a ticket because the staff works quickly.

There is no hope of getting there either. at the same time, on the speakerphone at the station, they are constantly invited to the hotel.

The station itself is clean, tidy, well maintained. The platforms are clearly located, but the stairs are huge. People who can hardly move (but without a wheelchair) will not be able to overpower the stairs to the bridge. We could also make an elevator for such people. Half of the station's infrastructure is closed in the early morning (5-6 am) and late evening (after 23:00). Fortunately, the ATM is working.
Bombs and currency traders are very annoying!!! They immediately intercept, do not observe personal distance, try to take away bags and put them in a taxi. Extremely unpleasant! Take action!

Yes, the train station is good. I liked it, it's clean. I liked the fact that there are rest rooms (hotel) booked in advance since the train arrived at 5 am. Very polite staff, clean and cozy. Recommend. You can buy everything from them. And soap and gel shampoo and slippers

The train station is very nice. There are pebbles and a buffet. There are rest rooms at the station that can be rented for several hours. They are quite comfortable, you can sleep and take a shower. My husband and I did just that. We left the hotel at 12.00, and the train only at 23.00.

By the way, almost all the seats are occupied. what surprised me the most was that you can't charge your phone, but there's just nowhere. Nowadays, being out of touch is a significant problem. I can write a positive review inspired by the literature of the Soviet period, but we do not live in the past, so it makes sense to judge with existing analogues. The toilet is a separate song, but in short, you can't describe it in adequate words. the only sensible thing here is a luggage storage and the staff who work there

The station was not impressed, there are few ticket offices working at the same time, which constantly creates queues. There is no electronic queue in the cash register, which creates pandemonium at the cash registers. The waiting room is terrible with extremely uncomfortable benches, some kind of homeless smell and a local dubious cafe, where in the evening and at night mostly not very pleasant people crowd. Entrance and storage rooms are outside the building, the cost per day is a penny. There are expensive (!) rest rooms (fortunately, there was no need to use their services, so I can't evaluate them. But the station square, although small, is convenient for relaxing while waiting for the train. Within walking distance from the station
there are several shops (Vesta, Purity Island, Bellita and others), pharmacies where you can buy the most necessary things for the road.

The score was deducted for the toilet. One and paid. Travelers from Russia definitely need to stock up on 1 Belarusian ruble. Otherwise, it is a pleasant impression. It is clean, there is free WiFi, but a good signal is only in the waiting room. There is a small buffet and a souvenir stand.
