A fertile place where you can have a great time, for body and soul. A monastery that shares everything it has with anyone. You can attend divine services, submit notes for a year, or half a year, for 40 days, prayer services, memorial services, a large selection of candles, various products, natural medicines, you can eat in the refectory.
There are guided tours, or you can spend time in solitude, the territory of the monastery is very beautiful and well maintained. Nearby there are holy springs with baptismal fonts. And most importantly, this is the place of the appearance of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, this shrine is located in the temple and there is free access to it.

We visited this place on our own, without excursions, the main cathedral was under repair, we walked around the surrounding area. Everything is done neatly, a beautiful garden with a fountain, huge bells that are located right next to the garden and they are also active. Shops selling church utensils. Overall, the experience is excellent, there is a desire to return and take a full tour after the renovation.

Zhirovichi is the Orthodox center of Belarus, unites 4 churches - the Assumption Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church. It is here that the miraculous icon of the Mother of God is located, the Holy Cross Church, the Yavlen Church is closed for restoration. All this is complemented by well-groomed greenery and territory. Also on the territory there is a Theological seminary, a Bell tower, monasteries, several commercial church shops, there is a lean paid dining room for everyone. In the depths of the buildings, the story of the miraculous icon's appearance is recreated (it has always appeared to children)

Very comfortable environment. Polite sellers who are ready to tell you about every detail. A huge selection of crosses, chains, bracelets, etc. The only drawback was that there was nowhere to put a candle, after the service everything was extinguished until the next evening service.

The Orthodox pearl of Belarus! I strongly advise every Orthodox to visit here. The miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Zhirovichskaya" is the smallest icon in stone (jasper). At the moment, the main Assumption Church is closed for restoration, the icon has been moved to another temple of the monastery, where you can venerate the Image. A beautiful, landscaped area, two miraculous springs are located at a distance from the monastery.

Ambiguous impressions: I am an Orthodox atheist, but if from an aesthetic point of view it is really very beautiful, large-scale, modern, but at the same time it is a historical place. I recommend visiting, but be prepared that this is an Orthodox university in fact.

Anyone coming from Russia will be disappointed. This is not the level of Sergiev Posad, Suzdal or Vladimir.It's more of a tourist destination.Lots of shops with church paraphernalia.Services are held in a small classroom-type room.Candles are not lit, but put in special places.Temples differ from Orthodox ones in their internal structure.There is no painting of domes and walls, there are no ancient icons.Maybe they are, but I've only come across new models in temples.In icon shops- like in a supermarket - the choice is huge.The monastery is undergoing renovation.You can't get everywhere.Young monks take guided tours of the territory.Plastic cards are not accepted, only cash.In the parking lot, we were alone with Russian license plates.The monastery is a cross between Catholics and Orthodox.For an amateur.

This is a place of power! When I come to Belarus, I always try to come here, worship the miraculous icon of the Zhirovitskaya Mother of God and plunge into the font. For those who are going to visit for the first time, I recommend taking a guided tour right at the monastery. It is conducted by seminarians and shows places where you cannot get to yourself, it is very interesting! I also recommend drinking tea with juicers in the local refectory and buying fresh monastery pastries.

This is one of the most salted places in Belarus with an interesting history. I also have a personal story related to this monostyr. By the age of fifty, I had an autoimmune disease, but at that time it was not clear at all what it was. My wife went to monostyr and ordered a health service. Nine months later, our son was born. Now I'm making fun of her that in the monastery it was necessary to specify the request somehow, because the disease remained. Five years later, they were diagnosed with Crohn's disease.

These are not just impressions, they are super impressions. I would compare it with the Sofia gathering in Kiev. The nature, the atmosphere, even the air is different there. We went as a family, went around everything, visited the holy spring and font. And also monastery bread... By the time they got to the car, the son chewed on a hunk of bread and said that he had never tasted anything tastier. I definitely recommend you to visit.

My favorite place in the area, it is very warm in the soul, some inner peace and tranquility, I always try to put candles on and be sure to drink some water, and if the weather allows, then I will swim!
