After a long car trip from St. Petersburg, the food seemed delicious and the prices humane. Maybe the waiter should have been a little nicer. Just a little. But we were tired, too, and some of the names on the menu were not pronounced correctly. We tried real pancakes for the first time and made a wish to return. Overall, we liked it. Thanks!

We were guided by the rating and expected one of the best cuisines in the city. If this is one of the best, it's scary to imagine the worst.
In the salmon salad, it turned out to eat greens, and almost all the fish had to be left on a plate: it is absolutely bland and large bones come across. Basically, everything is bland: no salt, no spices. Yes, there are salt shakers on the tables, but it's the cook's job to bring the dish to readiness.
We ate just enough to avoid being hungry, and the rest was put on plates.
Well, separately: simultaneous feeding is not observed at all. If 3 guests came together and ordered 1 dish each, they should be taken out at the same time, and not with breaks of 10 minutes. The first person is already eating, the second has just been brought, and the third continues to sit and watch

As a result: the ribs were brought in 15 minutes cold in a large amount of sauce, it was difficult to separate from the bone, baked potatoes looked like boiled; the second course-pork neck with mashed potatoes were tasteless and the meat was all streaked. Of all the things we tried, the good ones were: Lida kvass, cucumbers, grilled sauce, which tried to save the ribs. The bathrooms are small.

One solid vegetable oil... I couldn't try the salad, because there were no two positions that I liked. and it was Tuesday night. We were a big company. Everyone didn't like the food. Only kvass is delicious. The burger is cold, the chicken has been warmed in it several times, the bun is firm. They said that they ran out of gloves only after the burgers were brought. The salmon salad is completely tasteless.

The administrator refused to remove the dish from the receipt, assuring that the recipe for this dish has been approved for a couple of years, but I see a review from a week ago with normal ribs, as well as the Instagram photo, declared by the institution, with classic ribs. Not politely, not tactfully, not professionally, the cook's competence is in question. I saw that it was pointless to waste time on employees who didn't even understand what they were doing. As a bonus, the receptionist made coffee with herself.

The appearance does not match the name. There is no grill at all. We went in with my wife, after a walk around the castle, to have a snack and drink beer. The beer was brought, but the food turned out to be a problem. There was almost nothing available on the menu. When asked what to eat, the waiter offered to take potato slices for a side dish. There is a problem with waiting, cooking is an hour. When we were there, the couple left without even waiting for the menu.
We also left this place very quickly.
It's a shame that such a wonderful location, atmosphere, and incompetents are engaged in the bar.

The rest of the tables were either occupied or booked. The kitchen is partially open, you can watch the cooking. The order was accepted quickly, and it was brought too. We took soups and potatoes in slices. The food is delicious. The staff is polite. The prices are adequate. In general, I liked the cafe.

Pork neck is very dry and just 50% are lumps of fat. Mashed potatoes were heated in a microwave oven so that it dried and baked to a plate…
And they carried all these dishes for a very, very long time. At the same time, no one warned about such a long wait.

Many of the dishes we were going to order were not on the menu. The young man and I had to order a pork neck in orange sauce. At first it seemed that a strange smell was coming from the pork, but we thought that it smelled like canned honey, but that was not the case. It turned out that it was just rotten pork. As a result, poisoning and a ruined weekend. The waitresses are slow, the appliances did not bring, I had to go and ask for them myself, they always forget something. I highly recommend it if you do not want to get poisoned and spend an hour and a half waiting for one dish.

We got on an intern who tried to get us out of the institution, arguing that the bar had run out of mugs))) This recommendation should have been heeded and sent to a decent institution. Later it turned out that there were mugs, the faucet was just malfunctioning and the beer was pouring for a long time. We were in no hurry, so we agreed to wait. There were three families, and we initially asked to split the bill! Of course, the bill was brought to us in common and we had to divide it into parts ourselves, and the trainee girl merged somewhere. An extra mug of beer was included in the bill. When they noticed this circumstance, they went to watch the cameras and watched them for half an hour. They proudly informed us that they had indeed made a mistake. Not a word of apology. Girls and boys! Do you really think that three grown men with wives and a child want to knock you over for a beer for 6 Belarusian rubles. The bar at the Lida Castle is well located, but the whole impression of a cozy clean city was shattered by the complete lack of professionalism of the employees of this catering. In general, it was a great shame that such an attitude could still be in the modern world! The city is beautiful and well maintained, but the service is a village!
