Of course, Alma Ata is a wonderful city! I am glad that I visit here, I like to visit there, especially after the modernization of the airport — it really made traveling even more comfortable. There are so many interesting things in the city: mountain landscapes at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau, parks like Kok-Tobe, the legendary Medeo skating rink, or Bolshoe Alma-Ata Lake. It also has amazing cuisine and atmosphere. Would you like me to tell you where else to go or what to see? Or will you tell us about your impressions?
Celebrate your arrival at the Mongol Cafe and Restaurant. I have traveled to more than 67 countries and I have something to compare it with. It's amazing design, staff and wonderful cuisine. I strongly advise you))))

The new building of the international airport in Almaty is convenient, as you can quickly get here from almost any hotel, from anywhere in the city, documents are processed fairly quickly - tickets, boarding passes, and so on. If there is a flight delay due to the fault of the company, you will be provided with drinks and hot dishes, perhaps eventually a waiting room. It will be expanded, as it does not always accommodate a large number of people, especially when there is a flight delay due to non-flying weather.
Excellent modern airport. It is a pity that there are no national souvenirs at the airport except chocolates. I would like to be able to take away something national.
Everything is clean and comfortable. Good cafes. There are still few shops. The staff is the maximum of politeness and friendliness. Everyone is friendly. It was very pleasant to arrive and leave. Parking is a little weird. It is clear that we still need to work on it.
It's a nice airport, compact, but there's plenty of room. The bathrooms are clean and equipped to a decent standard. There are enough places for snacking, and there are even gluten-free and sugar-free products. The service is courteous. It's quite a cozy place. One disadvantage is that there are no stands for charging gadgets, so you have to look for sockets, people can sit cross-legged on the floor.
The staff is excellent, the airport is new, everything is clean and comfortable, it is unusual for security that there is no control at the entrance to the airport building, a separate respect for the animal release room!
On the downside: there are practically no local Kazakh delicacies in duty free: horse meat, kurt, koumiss, etc. I am sure that 80 percent of tourists would be happy to purchase them before departure!
A magnificent new building! Everything is for people, a lot about people. Clean, bright, spacious, no fuss, no hustle!
Registration is instant, no more than 5 minutes.
Cafe areas, food for every taste and budget.
As a smoker, the smoking area is important to me, and it is there, spacious, well-equipped, and maintained by caring staff with cleanliness and order!
Fly to Almaty, you will be welcome!
I fly often and have visited many airports, but this one definitely deserves attention. Everything is thought out here for the convenience of passengers: clean and spacious waiting rooms, comfortable chairs, many cafes and shops. The airport staff is polite and attentive, always ready to help with any questions. I especially liked the departure area, where you can relax and unwind before the flight. Overall, the airport has left a positive impression, and I will be happy to return here again.
Arriving at Almaty airport, you can enjoy unforgettable and beautiful views of the mountains! The airport staff is polite and friendly. The halls are very clean, spacious, lots of light. The waiting areas are equipped with everything you need, there is even a separate area for pets!
A large and convenient airport. There are few waiting areas in the check-in area. There is plenty of room in the departure area... Big, but expensive, duty free. There are toilets everywhere, but they don't have time to serve them, probably because of the large flow of passengers with different levels of hygiene, upbringing and selfishness... Food is expensive and difficult to eat: coffee, rolls, water, chocolates... The selection of souvenirs is small, the prices are high. The staff is inconspicuous. It should be understood that the city is often smogged (or unable to :) and foggy, flights are delayed or transferred to an alternate airfield (Bishkek, for example). The impression is still good: the building is modern and large, everything is there... The airport is located within the city, transport accessibility is good. Taxi to the center 1500 - 2000 tenge. There is public transport, running smoothly.
It's a convenient and quite efficient airport, it's small, but you still need to eat there, have a snack and drink coffee. For me, the main thing is to be quick and polite, and that the coffee is delicious and that the flights leave on schedule, everything else is secondary to me.
Almaty International Airport is a key transport hub in Kazakhstan and one of the busiest airports in the country. Overall, it makes a positive impression due to its functionality and convenience.
The first thing worth noting is the convenient location of the airport, just a few kilometers from the city center. This makes it accessible to both locals and tourists.
The architecture of the terminals combines modern style and elements of Kazakh culture, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The waiting rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating.
The airport staff is polite and helpful, ready to help with any questions. The registration and security check-in process usually takes place fairly quickly, although there may be small queues during rush hours.
The airport has a variety of shops and cafes where you can have a snack or buy souvenirs. Free Wi-Fi is also a nice bonus for passengers, allowing them to stay connected while waiting for a flight.
Some aspects that can be improved are updating some areas and improving the navigation system to make it more intuitive for new travelers.
In general, Almaty International Airport leaves a good impression and provides a comfortable journey for both locals and foreign visitors.
Finally, Almaty has an excellent airport, which makes me happy for the residents of this beautiful and beloved city! The old barn won't scare you anymore)) It's very comfortable, beautiful, and quite a world-class airport. True, you won't be allowed into the business lounge with the Aeroflot Sky priority, but in general, I spent time before boarding in a regular lounge. There are not many people, there are several cafes. Everything is quite cultural. Russian cards are not accepted. Well, in duty free, the difference between prices for the European Union and abroad is 20 euros per hundred euros. There are fewer in Moscow.
Positive:
Convenient location: The airport is located within the city limits, which makes it easy to get to the center of Almaty.
Developed infrastructure: The airport has shops, restaurants and cafes, recreation areas and duty-free, which makes waiting for flights more comfortable.
International destinations: The airport offers a variety of international flights, making it easier to travel abroad.
Minuses:
Congestion during peak hours: During periods of the greatest flow of passengers, the airport can be crowded, creating queues for check-in and screening, especially during the holiday season.
Bus stops: Buses stop far from the airport, and you have to walk to the terminal. It is more convenient to get there by taxi or by your own car.
The need for an update: I would like to see more modern and updated terminals.
A gorgeous terminal. It reminded me of the airport in St. Petersburg. Bright, new, roomy, clean.
Everything is fast, clear, modern, the border was passed quickly, I did not think that there would be polite and friendly staff. The coffee and the view of the mountains are amazing.
The international flight terminal looks fresh and very spacious. After passing the pre-flight inspection, you can visit a lot of interesting shops. Comfortable chairs are installed in the area before boarding, the toilets are clean without harsh and unpleasant odors.
The domestic flight terminal, on the other hand, is cramped and stuffy for a long time.
A new international terminal has been opened. Compact and very comfortable.
Everything is new, pleasant, and clean.
The staff is prompt, everything is fast and polite.
The logistics inside are clear. There are places to relax and have a snack.
It's a great airport. Thank you Kazakh brothers. Spacious, cozy and safe. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices in the air cafe. Delicious and varied menu. Duty free, surprised by the prices. More comfortable than in Russia. Thanks to everyone. Be kind
The new international airport in Almaty is beautiful, very comfortable, spacious, meeting all advanced requirements. Convenient parking and parking, accommodates a lot of vehicles. Very high prices in cafes and buffets.
Very solid. Nicely. Comfortable. Friendly staff. The toilets are clean, but not modern. There are few taps with clean drinking water. The service is friendly. It is a pity that there are no machines for printing boarding passes.
Nice, tidy airport (its international part). It's pretty clean, there are enough seats to wait for the flight. Before passing through the control, I would like a little more cafes, maybe even souvenir shops, etc. Among the disadvantages, the air inside the airport is a little stale, I don't know why the air conditioners can't handle it, I waited for quite a long time and went outside several times, I had to force myself to go back, it was so hard to be in such air for a few hours
Taxi access to the airport is comfortable.
The check went through pretty quickly.
The business waiting room is small and unpretentious.
There are currency exchangers. The course is acceptable when you buy, when you rent it is not profitable at all. It's when you fly away.
Upon arrival, everything went quickly, too, there is a Wi-Fi at the airport, I called a taxi on Yandex.
It's a good airport. There is a large and excellent cafe in the center of the hall. Delicious food and beer, and so on. You can perfectly pass the time while waiting for a flight. I arrived in advance, immediately after the eviction from the apartment. I was wondering what to do at this airport, but time flew by quickly and well....
