It's a small but cozy airport. The waiting area on the second floor is beyond praise. Comfortable sofas, armchairs, a cafe and a children's play area. Clean toilets, a lot of greenery, and I thought that the plants were artificial. I was pleasantly surprised that they were real. We travel with children, and we really need changing rooms, they are super at this airport, there is everything you need, and even a cradle with a comfortable sofa. In general, I am proud of the Moldovan airport. Keep it up 👍
A well-maintained airport))) modern))) the staff is polite (although there are individuals-beeches))) and ready to help))) duty free is not big, but you can buy water, sweets and alcohol there (surprisingly - at reasonable prices))) there are a lot of benches in the waiting area and only a couple of gates (6 or 7 is a very small airport)))) and a beautiful wall installation in the form of an inscription and a bunch of flowers around)))) on the second floor there is a single cafe with a bunch of goodies and access to a terrace for smoking (unfortunately without a roof - it will be damp in rainy weather, and hot in sunny weather)))
A small, quite comfortable airport. There used to be a good business hall, a store selling local alcohol and sweets. Dutifrey is small. In general, it is quite decent and cozy.
Everything is fine, except for the incomprehensible regime of restrictions for mourners and greetings on arrival from the local security service, which are puzzling to say the least.
My review concerns the work of border control. The airport itself is not bad, an updated standard Soviet regional center airport, has everything you need to wait, works around the clock. But we (a family with a disabled child) were not allowed across the border for no reason, but in fact - because we only have Russian passports (although Moldova still has a visa-free regime with Russia) and because elections and a referendum on EU membership are in the country in a few days. We had a lot of documents confirming the purpose of the visit (meeting with relatives from another country at the only logistics and visa-accessible point), but we were refused entry and told that we had to wait for a free flight back in a sterile area for almost three days. At the same time, our passports were taken away, which is generally unacceptable and is a violation of all conceivable laws. We had to buy tickets for a lot of money at our own expense to fly wherever we could. Thus, we spent a huge amount of money, time and nerves, only to experience enormous stress, despite the fact that we did not commit any illegal actions, and experienced just reference discrimination against ourselves on the basis of nationality, which we never encountered anywhere else. Another 20 or 30 people who arrived on evening flights found themselves in the same situation. We have been to about 70 countries, including at the moments of elections and varying degrees of severity of political unrest in some of them, and for the only time in our lives we have encountered such a game. The only country in the world that I will have exceptionally bad memories of is Moldova, and I will never set foot there again. It is unclear what the security forces want. To worsen the attitude towards the country of those who had previously treated it quite friendly and neutral? Scare away those who would like to spend money in Moldova? In that case, they succeeded.
Compact airport, quick check-in and controls, departure and arrival in up to 30 minutes. Good duty-free service, you can buy good souvenirs (alcohol, sweets). The only wish is to add a recreation area, now there is one cafe - there is always a queue and the tables are occupied
I do not get tired of saying only good words to the Chisinau International Airport. I dedicate all my 5 stars to a wonderful team of professionals, wonderful flight organization and excellent communication before and during flights! A wonderful airport of the same wonderful country!
A small cozy airport with reasonable prices, correct staff (almost all speak Russian), and good waiting conditions. The only small drawback is that there are no telescopic ladders, they always get to the planes by bus. In dutifrey, you can buy wine that will be older than you for 30-50 euros. And no, another small drawback is that mourners are temporarily not allowed into the airport building. For this and for the ladders - four.
And there are also a lot of flights from there to various cities in Italy.
I love this airport: it's simple and easy. And at the same time it is convenient, you can eat and drink coffee quietly outside. And how nice it is to hear Moldovan music from a loudspeaker.
Not a bad airport, cozy, clean bathrooms. The dutik is normal, but the prices are very inflated by one and a half to two times. A big minus is the capacity of the waiting room, a lot of people sometimes have nowhere to sit, you feel like at some kind of bus station. At least an additional terminal would not hurt.
We were at the airport in December - it is very beautifully decorated. Free internet connection. The bathroom is clean. I like the melody that sounds before the ads. I also like the duty free - always polite staff who will help with the choice.
You definitely won't get lost here. A small but very modern airport. Wi-Fi is like at home, with high speed without registration and SMS, which I really liked. Of course, I would like more staff at passport control, there are often queues, but they work quickly.
I really want our magically beautiful Moldova to be left with only kind-hearted reviews. We have very hospitable kind people. We welcome guests and a lot of intelligent, kind-hearted employees at the airport who will help solve the problem, regardless of the nation, the world is not without kind people. Come and visit our republic !!!
Nice, pleasant airport.I can't say the same about some of the staff who work there.Today, while getting ready for my morning flight and going through passport control, my documents were checked by a woman who, as it is obvious to me, was rude to me while mimicking me. It is a pity that such people work for an international company, where they are its face.
I love Chisinau airport!! Cozy, comfortable...This time, due to the loss of car keys, I communicated with the staff. Very helpful people, tried to help.
We flew from Larnaca to Antalya. The tickets were to Chisinau and from Chisinau to Antalya. The border guards didn't like it, but they quickly arranged for us to check in for the next flight, they didn't even let us get our luggage. They didn't let me out of the airport. In general, passengers with Russian passports are treated in a special way. We decided not to fly through Chisinau anymore. Nice airport. Food is scarce. One cafe. We bought two buns, two lattes and paid 13 euros.
Compact, but surprisingly rationally organized airport. The cafe area on the second floor in the departure hall is very pleasantly executed: the unique lighting design causes aesthetic delight. A cozy and modern playground with high-quality toys and children's TV broadcasts, craft beer of three types on taps, a wide menu of snacks and desserts at reasonable prices - all this favorably emphasizes the noble style of the airport. A separate "feature" is the music track before the information messages - a very colorful instrumental segment of the melody in the national style! An extremely worthy synergy from the work of management and ordinary employees! Thank you for the pleasure! I recommend.
A cozy, small airport, a lot of charging for charging gadgets, there is a place to sit, relax, quite clean. The departure area is even more comfortable. The only drawback is that they are allowed into the departure area only three hours before the flight, even if you have checked in online and you need to go to the business lounge
A good airport, with air conditioning, good toilets. The main disadvantage is that they cannot cope with the flow of people, they often need to wait in long queues for border guards and customs officers.
A good modern airport. Well, there is a nuance. There are a lot of people on departure. Passengers without tickets are not allowed to enter the airport. Probably the greeters too. I was warned 3 hours in advance to arrive for registration. I hope he will recover soon. Moldova Chisinau is the best city!!!
One of the most comfortable and cozy airports I have ever visited. The interiors are very pleasant, everything is clean. I really like the sound in front of voice announcements, unlike most airports and train stations, it does not cause feelings of anxiety, but on the contrary, it caresses the ear.
A small, cozy airport. Very convenient navigation, there is everything you need. There are comfortable seats in the waiting area, near each of them there is a socket with different inputs.
I have been to various airports, including large and famous ones, but nowhere was it as calm and cozy as here
It is not a large airport, convenient access by private and public transport, the airport infrastructure is convenient, everything is intuitive, the staff is friendly and friendly. In general, I recommend it, by the way, the additional fee for using the airport infrastructure has been canceled.
Love...This is my favorite airport. Everything is compact and calm. Nothing superfluous. Excellent cafes on the second floor. The look of Dute Free has changed for the better. See you in the new year!
My favorite airport in the "small and comfortable" category. In addition to ergonomics, where they managed to correctly fit all the infrastructure objects into the small areas of the main air gate of Moldova, they also got confused by aesthetics: a lot of light, greenery and natural materials. Toilets are my separate love! Vertical green carpets adorn this utilitarian object. It looks awesome! There are practically no queues, there are enough chairs and cafes everywhere. Border control is fast and clear. Toilets are down the stairs, but for people with disabilities there are on the floor.
A small but comfortable clean pleasant airport. It is easy to find information, ads in Moldovan, English and Russian. There are huge queues for inspection, but they pass quickly enough. There is a small dutifry, a cafe, a high-comfort lounge, many places with armchairs, tables, phone chargers, free Wi-Fi. An electric bus goes from the airport to the city, there is a taxi. The staff is polite but slow.
Pretty, not big. Polite staff. It's simple. due to the prices, it is slightly more expensive than in Istanbul. Everyone speaks Russian for euros if they understand that they do not know Moldovan and English. I'm not familiar with this
A wonderful, small, cozy airport. Everything is at a high level. The staff will always tactfully and politely prompt you. Decent duty free with reasonable prices. In general, well done. Thanks
Cleanly calmly fast on departure. There are long queues at passport control on arrival. It should be divided according to passports, adjusting the number of service booths accordingly
Kishenev Airport is compact, you definitely won't get lost-there is only one arrival hall. The attitude towards passengers is polite and respectful, especially towards children and the elderly-passport control is for them first of all.The luggage was received without delay. There is a taxi and a trolleybus route 30 near the airport. There are currency exchange offices and cafes in the arrival hall, as well as vending machines. The center of Kishenev can be reached in 30-40 minutes by car.
The international airport does not meet its purpose (THERE is NO LUGGAGE STORAGE!!!
On the website there was even a price for storing luggage in a luggage compartment - 4.5 euros! But in fact it turned out that THERE is NO LUGGAGE STORAGE AT ALL! This is a complete horror!!! You're tied to suitcases and you can't really go to the toilet, let alone show them around the city and buy something as a keepsake. Airport administration!!!! SHAME on you!!!! DO SOMETHING!!! It cannot be that one person who may not have come to work is listed in this service and because of this scoundrel, passengers are forced to suffer.
In the information service on 07/19/2024, the girl rudely replied! A complete disappointment (((
The airport is small and compact. Very inexpensive Parking (45 minutes-free, the first 3 hours-about 50 rubles per hour). You can have a tasty and relatively inexpensive snack. Spoils everything with the picky attitude of border guards towards Russian citizens at the entrance, but as I understand it, they still let them through.
A small, compact but very convenient airport. There is wi-fi . The waiting room and toilet are always clean. There is a comfortable cafe on the second floor. Delicious Moldovan dishes, hot and strong drinks. My opinion: one of the best airports.I recommend...!!!
We were flying home from Greece. After landing, the luggage was waiting for a very long time. Upon arrival home, they discovered the disappearance of 2 bottles of perfume bought in the luxury free of Chisinau. I would like to give everyone a piece of advice: check your luggage before leaving the airport. It is also impossible to get through to the information service, the answering machine is working
A very nice and cozy airport! There is a cafe with normal prices, a lot of outlets where you can charge a laptop. The toilets are neat and clean. The interior looks new and modern
A place where I feel very good and bad at the same time. It's good when I arrive there and bad when I fly away from there. I warn you, there is no luggage storage at the airport. We'll have to guard the luggage ourselves
A beautiful and compact international airport.
There is no possibility of boarding through a special sleeve, but due to its compactness, the bus delivers to the plane very quickly.
A wonderful DF store, with a huge selection of various products.
There is also a separate area with the sale of local wine and cognac products. Confectionery products are also available for sale.
Therefore, if you do not have time to buy something in the shops of Moldova, do not worry - there is a huge assortment of everything you need at the airport.
Good luck to everyone.
They are still not allowed into the interior of the airport. Only on tickets. It is not very convenient to meet. There are no kiosks nearby to buy water or eat. It is very bad to stand in the sun
Nice, clean. There are comfortable armchairs in the waiting room on the ground floor, and there are soft sofas on the second floor. A white grand piano against a beautiful green wall with the inscription Moldova. A pleasant melody before the flight announcement. And on New Year's holidays it's just fabulous there!
Surprisingly, it is a wonderful airport. Modern, comfortable, tastefully done. There is even a highlight-the crew, two flight attendants and the pilot. Wonderful sculptures.
Getting to the airport by public transport is like matches in a box. There are some not polite staff. For those who come from the Russian Federation, there are not pleasant feelings.
Chisinau is a beautiful clean Airport, very polite staff, excellent service, excellent waiting room, I really liked everything, I will be happy to fly there again...
April 28, 2024. I was flying to Istanbul at 7 a.m., when boarding the bus to the plane, the security service stopped and handed me my Swiss watch (a gift from my husband), it turns out after checking I dropped it, but the guard figured me out from the cameras and organized the transfer. Many thanks to the airport staff and security!
An ordinary airport. It is small, although metropolitan. Not far from the city. Plus, everyone understands and speaks Russian. At the airport itself, it's stuffy inside when it's warm outside. Parking is inexpensive and right in front of the airport exits.
I was surprised that there are no frames for the entrance. The airport is small and beautiful. There are very long queues for passport control and pre-flight control. Therefore, it is better to arrive in advance. Parking is free for 30 minutes.
A good airport, clean, modern, comfortable,I really liked it, and the prices are reasonable ,coffee 42lya, about 250 rubles, but not 1200 as in Yerevan, the girls at the counter when I checked in my luggage, smiling, friendly, I really liked everything. Thanks!!!
