On the first day of rest in Abkhazia, we immediately went to Lake Ritsa, next to which Stalin's dacha is located.
We walked around the territory - landscaping, respectively, of the Stalin era )
A beautiful view opens from the cottage on one side of the lake, and on the other side of the snow-capped mountains.
There is one cafe, but we decided to have a picnic ourselves - on the way to the cottage I noticed a good place, and with me I took camping furniture, a table and chairs, as well as a mini stove - we had a great cup of tea in such a bombastic atmosphere! I recommend it to everyone!

Ruin and mess. The territory is not well maintained. The second time I came with an interval of 8 years, it only got worse. Entrance is paid, 250 rubles per person to walk around the territory and go inside the cottage itself. It's not worth it. It is a pity that such a beautiful and historical place was brought to decay.

Lake Ritsa fascinates with its beauty. The excursion to the cottage starts at 9:00 a.m. the price is 400 rubles per person, it is quite informative, personally I really liked it. One of the disadvantages is the ban on swimming in the lake.

A very beautiful place on the shore of Lake Ritsa. The interior decorations retain the atmosphere of the Stalinist era - old but still sturdy furniture, rotary switches, bulky telephone, radio, a security call button (almost the same as the switches)... all this was viewed with wide-open eyes by modern youth... everything in the building itself is strict and ascetic. Khrushchev also rested in the Stalin mansion, separating Stalin's apartments from his own with an internal partition. The dacha is now being used by the Abkhaz authorities for important meetings. By the way, Stalin's personal boat remains intact, which you can ride around the entire perimeter of the lake…

A place where you can plunge into history.
The building has retained its original appearance. There is no chic and wealth — the interior smacks of official austerity. Here you can see the furniture used by Joseph Vissarionovich. All of it was made to order from natural wood (boxwood, birch and walnut). All rooms are similar in design, a little luxury is given to the rooms by windows with crystal glasses (to keep the heat in the room), the walls and floors are also decorated with natural wood.
The cottage consists of two parts, Joseph Vissarionovich rested in one, Nikita Sergeevich used the second. It is known that Khrushchev met Fidel Castro in this residence.
Under Leonid Brezhnev, a transition appeared between the two buildings and both buildings merged into one.

One of the five state dachas represented on the territory of Abkhazia. It works only in summer (from mid-May to the end of October), because it is located on the remote shore of Lake Ritsa and the road to the facility is closed during the snow season.
The working hours are from 09.00 to 20.00, plus or minus 15 minutes. The cottage is guarded and maintained by military and government employees. It is quiet, well-groomed, clean and easy to breathe.
Entrance to the territory is paid (200₽ for adults, 100₽ for children, over 8 years old). The fee is mandatory for everyone and does not depend on whether you want to walk outside or listen to a short, 10-minute tour.
A little to the left of the actual state cottage, within walking distance of a cafe with national cuisine. Simple and homemade food, the price tag is adequate, but the views are absolutely gorgeous and there are usually fewer people here than at traditional viewing platforms.
A Stalin-era boat runs from the pier in working mode and in good weather - ask Captain Hasik. A walk within half an hour is not cheap - 2500 rubles (capacity - 6-8 people), but it is definitely worth it. To experience the charm of the mountainous area and the amazing beauty of the wondrous lake will turn out for sure at all %.
