Lake Ritsa is beautiful. Stalin's summer cottage for a history lover. Take the cash...the entrance to the park is 700rubles, to Stalin's dacha 250rubles per person.
It's not a good place.. There's not much to look at, the guide is tormented, saying the same thing all day long... They take money, but there is no minimum toilet, there is no normal one, the bathroom is terrible..(a hole in the floor) .
I visited this place in August 2021, an interesting place, a short tour is quite informative about the historical moments that took place here. I recommend it to those who are interested in history. It is also a beautiful natural place, you can take a walk - peace and tranquility))
When visiting Lake Ritsa, you can drive to the other side of the lake, where the cottages of Stalin and Khrushchev are located, for only 150 rubles per person, you can visit an excursion, park on the territory and walk along the embankment
You can also go sailing on the same side
It's a very cool place, and most importantly, it's located in a very picturesque place. You can learn a little interesting things from the guide. The structure seems to have three bedrooms, you can move between them, and if anyone knew which bedroom the leader went to sleep in, then no one knew which one he would come out of. And there are many more interesting things. It is definitely worth a visit, regardless of your attitude towards Stalin.
All of Stalin's dachas are very similar. But there is a twist here. The cottage is located on the shore of Lake Ritsa, in one of the most picturesque places in Abkhazia. Well, the second highlight you will find inside is the pink plumbing of Comrade. Khrushchev. Yes, I didn't pee myself, they shared it for two, first one lived in sweat, the second but on his attached half :)
It seems to me that there is nothing left of the natural furnishings, the plumbing is all new, the furniture is 80-90 years old. I also did not understand that in Stalin's dacha, that in Khrushchev's dacha, there are two one-and-a-half beds in the bedrooms... suddenly. It seems that from time to time it is used as a hotel with a "historical twist". Five stars for the waterfront, it's really amazing.
The Abkhazians do not properly maintain the property that they inherited, I think that in a couple of years everything will die there. There's a hole in the floor right at the entrance, in the expensive parquet, they threw some kind of carpet on the floor, I don't know, they found it in the trash. In general, it's a depressing sight, and nature is a bomb, no wonder they built a cottage here.

Peace and quiet reigns in this place. There is a special atmosphere .
We liked it!
I advise you to take a guided tour.
A cool object, I advise everyone... Especially with a guided tour.. It will be especially useful for new generations to compare how the "great villain" lived and how officials live now...
The place is even a little creepy! I want to get out of there faster! The whole situation has been preserved, it feels like Stalin just left and will be back now. As it is, everything is very interesting. And nature, O. Ritsa is just 💣
It is normal, cozy, but there is a lot of travel for tourists, the tour is also good, the road is very beautiful and narrow, we drove quietly in a low car, but further, higher, only SUVs
It is interesting for its location, which is invisible from the road.If you don't know, you won't find it with your eyes.He gets lost in the gorgeous nature of Abkhazia.
It's kind of lifeless inside, there are rare things- a piano, a radio, dishes in the cupboard.
Gorgeous access to the Ritsa Lake.
I've been there several times. I won't regret coming there again. The place is very iconic. There are a lot of stops along the way. Waterfall, Maiden's tears. The blue lake. Milk waterfall, not far from the checkpoint itself to the cottage.
Be careful. A rockfall...
A historical place. It is worth visiting and seeing this cottage live. I have been to Abkhazia 4 times and only managed to visit it as a last resort, it is not always open.
An interesting, iconic place. It is kept in good condition. It's a pity there are very few places to stay for the night, I would like to spend the night and experience the beauty of the mountainous area.
I advise you to visit. Yes, the road is a bit difficult- serpentines. But the visit is worth it. First of all, it's just an awesome landscape around. Secondly, you will see with your own eyes how modestly the "father of nations" lived. To be honest, I didn't expect it.
At the time of Stalin, luxury in those days combined with nature, a cottage was built there, which is not visible at the foot of the mountains, the Ritz is fabulous, there are 2 bedrooms in the cottage, because Stalin was paranoid in terms of persecution, it always seemed to him that he was being watched and therefore could change bedrooms and beds several times during the night they are identical in them.
