First, they try to put 8 people at the table for 6. Despite the fact that the hall is empty (3-4 tables out of more than 20 are occupied. Then they put them at the table, where the light bulb is not lit, which we change for them (at least we would thank them with a compote for the children).
Food... A mixture of cartographs. mashed potatoes with beef stroganoff and julienne do not cost 1,700rubles. Just because of the name: Prince Alden's favorite dish.. Whom.
The waiters' attitude is like a favor. They rarely fit, you have to catch them... Well, at least hire someone who will tell them how they should work.

Невероятно красивый ресторан. Интерьеры просто чудо! Из огромного окна вид на море - на закате просто сказочный. Спасибо всем , кто так бережно восстановил, реновировал этот шедевр архитектуры 🙏
Еда вкусная, официанты внимательные, цены немного выше, чем в других местах , но это закономерно
Обязательно для посещения. Впечатления гарантированы

Красивое место! Для компании хорошо заказать фирменное блюдо, (много разного мяса + овощи на гриле), персонал приветлив, вечером живая музыка. Однозначно рекомендую для посещения. Перед посещением рекомендую почитать историческую справку о заведении.

Ресторан - просто восторг! Интерьер, персонал, еда - все на 5+. Очень красивый вид из ресторана на набережную. Волшебные мясные блюда, салаты и просто восхитительный хачапур по -царски.

Красиво, чисто, вкусно. Официанты знают свою работу, всё расскажут по меню, правильно принесут и унесут. Очень приятное и атмосферное место.
Кухня выше всяких похвал.
Очень рекомендую посетить.

Август 2023 года.
Красиво оформленное меню, как и само здание - это те немногие плюсы ресторана, которые можно выделить.
Хабальные, ленивые официанты, интернет работающий через раз, половина позиций отсутствует, невыносимо долгая подача при минимальной посадке гостей, совершенно устаревшие и неинтересные позиции в меню.
Из еды советую оливье.
Рыба сухая, вчерашняя (за 2к то). Уха "царская" с креветками - цирк какой то, а водка к ней больше похожа на 60обр. самогон. Ростбиф, как буженина - нет розовизны и нарезан как в рекламе колбасы "папа может".
Потраченных денег жаль. Просто невкусно.
А в целом красивое и атмосферное место. Надеюсь управляющий и шеф примут меры.

The place itself is beautiful from the street, everything looks great against the background of palm trees and other southern trees, charismatic. I liked the view itself. Inside it is necessary to continue repairs. On the way to the toilet, some utility rooms behind a black cloth, so-so kind.
The spirit of history is felt in the restaurant itself, at least 1 time is worth visiting only because of this) the pictures on the walls are different, I liked the balcony with a sea view. You can't wait for the waiters!!! Like in the old 80s. Stupidly ignore. I waited for about 15 minutes, then I couldn't stand it, I came over. She says to me - sit down, I'll come to you now. Ресторан Гагрипш потрясающее место с вековой историей, атмосферное место! Данный ресторан рекомендую посетить каждому, это волна и заряд эмоций!
Кухня вкусная, ближе к домашней! Персонала много в данном ресторане, обслуживают быстро!

Однозначно одно из самых раскрученных заведений города - оно и понятно. Здание с огромной историей.
Пришли большой компанией 9 взрослых + дети. Сначала сказали, что все забронировано. После фразы: "..специально ехали к Вам" появилась возможность разместиться на 2 этаже. Через 10 минут исходя от невыносимой жары, т.к. кондиционеры работают только на 1 уровне, решили уйти. Тут же появились столы на 1 этаже. Ради нас даже сдвинули несколько (это к слову о накрученной значимости, да туда толпами привозят экскурсионников, но для чего было сначала на входе говорить, что вообще то у нас только через бронь..). В общем мы оттуда просто ушли, т.к даже на улице было прохладнее чем в здании.

Место очень атмосферное, виды потрясающие!
Богатая история ресторана.
Кухня шикарная, всё понравилось, даже детям))
Посещали ресторан в обеденное время, поэтому аншлага не было, вечером наверное не попасть)
Единственное, что подпортило впечатление - настроение официантки. Имя не запомнил, брюнетка с короткой стрижкой, типа каре. Недовольная чем-то, надменная, неразговорчивая.
Поэтому 4 балла.

Salads, hot dishes and snacks were great 🤤 delicious Abkhazian wine, in the map it is represented only by bottles 🍾 service on a deposit of 1500 rubles (this means that just sitting and drinking a cup of coffee will not work). Otherwise, there are issues, the main of which is the care of the building and the maintenance of this historic place ... unfortunately, they are not coping with this yet 🤷🏼♀️ I really hope that everything will change for the better soon) because the place itself is magical, just going out on the balcony and enjoying the warm evening of the sea is worth a lot ✨

You can visit the restaurant only by paying respect to the ancient building. The price tag is decent. The food is not tasty: the signature salad "Gagripsh" is an absolutely table version of the salad, tomatoes, ham, a little boiled tongue, an incomprehensible litter and everything is seasoned with mayonnaise and sprinkled with cheese. This is definitely not a restaurant dish! Cheese soup with ham is not bad, but I would like to serve it with croutons. 4 ставлю за уникальность здания и за идеальное состояние культурного наследия.
120 лет назад принц Александр Ольденбургский на Парижской торговой выставке купил необычное здание - деревянное строение в стиле фахверк с часами на фасаде, было изготовлено в Норвегии без единого гвоздя. Очень красиво!!!
Как ресторан меня не впечатлил
Кухня не самая лучшая.
Очень громкая живая музыка за столом собеседника не услышать ))))

Знаковое место, хорошая кухня, интересное меню, наряду с предложением современной кухни, есть блюда из меню на момент открытия ресторана, жаль, что нет сетов, хотелось попробовать больше блюд)) Обслуживание отличное, подают все вовремя и быстро. Оставил позитивное впечатление.
Ценник соответствует месту, по Абхазии цены выше не встречались.

Очень красивый и старинный ресторан с историей. Достаточно богатый интерьер. Не плохое обслуживание. Шашлык из шеи очень посредственный, обыкновенная овощная тарелка. Больше всего понравилось пюре. Нигде в заведениях больше не готовят такое вкусное пюре, за него можно поставить твердую пятерку, как и за внешний вид ресторана, а так же внутреннее убранство. Все остальное слишком обычно.

Обязательно посетите данный ресторан! Колоритно! Вкусно! Когда мы были в ресторане, это был вечер, была развлекательная программа, танцевали ребята абхазские танцы, очень красиво, что мурашки по телу, потом выступали девушки с танцами живота. В общем остались очень хорошие впечатления! В конце нашего отпуска посетили его еще раз с местными друзьями, посидели так, что запомнилось на всю жизнь!

Ресторан с интересной историей, находится в колоритном месте, виды с второго этажа ресторана на парк и море замечательные. Но скатерти в пятнах, туалет оставляет желать лучшего, официанты с ходу в ресторан сразу озвучивают про депозит (с человека 1500₽). Заказав шашлык из курицы, жевали очень долго. Овощная тарелка из безвкусных помидоров и таких же огурцов. Из минусов ещё то, что из абхазских блюд ничего не было в наличии. Это не уровень ресторана. Мы остались не особо довольны.

The food is tasteless, as in almost all of Abkhazia. We tried the Prince of Oldenburg's dishes: salad, three kinds of hot meat. It doesn't even look like a cafe. We need to tighten it up. We also took a boat, the dough is unusual, but not bad.
Snacks, sturgeon in nut sauce and cheese rolls also did not leave any pleasant impression. Beef in a pot from the national cuisine could not be tasted, they were absent.
The champagne was served without an ice bucket, I had to ask for it separately.
Homemade citrus lemonade is very tasty 😄
The chairs are dirty and stained with wine.
In general, the restaurant is for photos, not for enjoying the cuisine.
Like many things in Abkhazia, it left a feeling of misunderstanding. A tourist place where they don't want to spoil tourists.

Отменные блюда, великолепный вид, хорошее обслуживание, вековая история, масса великих людей, посещавших этот ресторан в разные времена от царей до Шаляпина и Высоцкого, Сталина и Горького и всё это великолепие под отменную закуску, считаю, что просто необходимо посетить эту достопримечательность Абхазии.

Абхазия это потрясающая страна! А этот ресторан как раз отображает все ее преимущества, живая музыка с потрясающим вокалом, подборка композиций необыкновенная, душа поет просто, хочется подпевать каждую песню)) официанты опытные, внимательные, приветливые)) про стол отдельная благодарность повару) форель была волшебная картофель на мангале -пальчики оближешь, лимонад потрясный) в общем все не перечислить, при этом ценник более чем адекватный, по крайней мере по ростовским меркам, при этом такой интерьер исторический! Всем советую, кто едет в Гагру, этот ремтрран строго обязателен к посещению!

The restaurant is very beautiful. I agree to pay, BUT the food must match ... not wow, I ate tastier and cheaper. The price tag came out at almost 10k for two, I attach a photo. The music is lively, very atmospheric. They cook quickly, but again there is something to complain about, poorly peeled shrimp, dry meat... The staff was not pleased, at the interruption they voice about the deposit (it doesn't look very nice, I think it's enough once, there is a discrepancy in clothes)

Историческое место, замечательная архитектура. Очень гостеприимное место, вежливый персонал, очень вкусно!!! Живая музыка ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНАЯ!!!! Спасибо за приятное времяпрепровождения!!! Немного дороговато, но, подобные места обязывают… Единственно, если бы ввели хотя бы минимальный дресс-код для посетителей, в майках , шортах и спорткостюмах, сразу вспомнились 90-е ….. Нужно ,конечно, держать марку и соответствовать, и посетители будут прельщаться и воспитывать у себя чувство прекрасного при посещении ресторанов.

07.05 мы пришли в ресторан Гагрипш,было очень интересно покушать в историческом месте,с виду и внутри ресторан очень красивый,но на этом все плюсы и закончились,мы сделали заказ,уху царскую,том ям,мясо по абхазски,шашлык из свинины и закуску,сначала нам принесли закуску,потом мясо,мы уже поняли что все пойдет не так как нужно,в хороших заведениях,так как для сначала приносят суп,нам пришлось его ждать,в итоге мясо уже остыло и оно было совершенно не по абхазски,не грамма специй,шашлык был как будто вчерашний(в обычном кафе было гораздо вкуснее) уху подают с бутербродом с икрой,икры как «кот наплакал» и самое интересное на дне супа том ям были как будто мелкие стеклышки,мы сказали об этом официанту

Перед нами даже никто не извинился
КАТЕГОРИЧЕСКИ НЕ СОВЕТУЮ ЭТО МЕСТО!
Лишь только для просмотра достопримечательности,но не в коем случае не для того чтобы тратить свои деньги здесь,на невкусную еду
Мы отдали за все 6000 с небольшим тысяч и были очень разочарованы

If you take that kind of money, then at least hire good cooks... The waiters are like at the market, just to sell more. We didn't want to leave a tip, but 10% is included in the price. The minimum amount per person is 1500 rubles, but not at any gate.
The only thing I really liked was lemonade for 600 rubles🙈

The prices in the menu do not correspond to the actual prices shown in the invoice. We were given a couple of dishes and tea at a higher price. For the service +10%. The dishes are not prepared quickly. But there are no complaints about the taste. Soups, kebabs, grilled vegetables are delicious. The toilet is outside, which is not convenient.

What should I say? There were , it's just a diner in a beautiful interior. They were very upset. Everything is tasteless, the waiters shake crumbs off the tablecloth with their hands, there is no uniform, black trousers and T-shirts, the food is tasteless and expensive, insects everywhere: on the table, in the matzoni. The singer is not even dressed normally for such a restaurant.There is no desire to visit this place anymore. The toilets leave much to be desired, there are only three booths and one did not work.
