cons - the waiters mixed up two dishes and refused to replace one, there is no service at all, although they add 10% for the service from above.
the dishes are not so delicious, we have an ordinary dinner in another restaurant there it is much tastier and cheaper, the price tags for the dishes are put only for their presentability.
we were not allowed to enter the restaurant at 19:30, although we arrived at 19:10, for some reason we cannot choose a table when booking, they just leave a random table for those who booked when they arrived by taxi and drove to the upper landing from there we were kicked out, allegedly we spoil the building there.
there are a lot of disadvantages, I have described about only 40% of all the disadvantages

We had a vacation in Abkhazia recently with friends. The driver from the transfer highly recommended visiting this institution. But alas, we did not pass face control in the opinion of an unpleasant girl who is a waiter in this institution. When asked to suggest where to sit down, we were asked to first familiarize ourselves with the menu, and then decide whether we can pull these prices. We were shocked by this attitude. We looked at the menu out of interest , saw the average prices by the standards of Moscow and the region . But the girl clearly did not want to see us in this institution , which she reported . Actually, we left this place without trying anything. (we looked decent by the way, not in swimsuits, etc.)

Wine and champagne for 800 rubles, in the store such for 300 rubles. Don't take a beer plate, there are ordinary sausages. Although the most pleasant thing is that the meat was tender and very tasty. And tangerine juice is very delicious! The interior of the restaurant is chic and unique! Live music starts playing from 19:00: saxophone and aunt sings songs. Это не просто ресторан - это легенда! Персонал держит планку на уровне. И качество еды, и разнообразие, и обслуживание посетителей - все на высшем уровне, выше всяких похвал. И особенная атмосфера заведения.
Первый раз заскочили просто кофе попить - не было времени, были на экскурсии, проездом из другого города. Но очень хотелось потребить в знаменитом Гагрипше хотя бы кофе .Нам очень быстро принесли [великолепный!] кофе, вошли в наше положение.
Второй раз уже целенаправленно туда пошли на обед. Мы были в восторге. Не буду описывать подробно, но поверьте, оно того стоит - посетить Гагрипш в Абхазии.
Пиво многих ресторанах был, в том числе и в других странах. Могу с уверенностью сказать: есть рестораны, есть Рестораны или даже РЕСТОРАНЫ, а есть Гагрипш!

Потрясающий ресторан. Безумно вкусные блюда. Приятная музыка и в целом очень расслабляющая обстановка. Заказали в целях ознакомления «фирменные» блюда с меню. Чек достойный,но это того стоило. Невероятно вкусно.
Заказали на двоих:
салат «оливье»,тот самый классический по старинному рецепту .
Любимое блюдо принца Ольденбургского
На десерт фирменное мороженое Гагрипш ,мороженое идет с ликером,поэтому ребенку одну порцию заказали безалкогольную
И лимонад
По чеку вышло чуть больше 5,5 тысяч.
После мы прогулялись по самому ресторану, по обзорной террасе,второму этажу. Красивое здание с историей . Очень колоритное место где точно стоит побывать и куда хочется вернуться.

Yes, we knew which institution we were going to and our style of dress was restrained, without ball gowns and rings on our fingers. Sorry, Steve Jobs walked around in jeans and a T-shirt, while no one turned away from him, as they did from us today.After landing, we waited for about 15 more minutes to come to us. A girl came up, took the order and yes, I understand that all establishments have their own traditions and rules, but it's banal not to serve vegetables and mushrooms just because you didn't order a barbecue for them, sorry, my mind can't make sense. It's okay, they brought water, put glasses, bottles and that's it. Pour for the guest-no, you haven't heard. We have self-service, apparently. The food was waited for about 40 minutes. After the dishes were brought, the waiter casually threw us a phrase on the run that there was no one item from the order, immediately left without trying to offer something in return, as it happens in other decent establishments. The food was brought hot, we will also add this to the positive sides. But the taste is ordinary. There's no way to call him that. The usual generally delicious food, not cold to serve, not catchy in any way. Also, during the evening at a live music concert, we found ourselves in darkness. Yes, in such a "decent" place, the lights were simply turned off and I have never seen the waiters running around like a fireman and shouting: "is there a flashlight, what happened?" It seems that this should be done in such a way as not to panic the client and somehow talk to the visitors, and not leave them sitting in the dark and eating by the light of a flashlight. Also, I'm sorry, the service fee for each order is 10% and that's okay, the policy of the institutions of Abkhazia. You can't argue, everyone has their own rules. But when you need to bring change, because the payment terminal was not provided and there was a cash payment, the waiter decides to round the amount to a lower value and pick up the tip without your demand-piggishness! We would have decided what kind of tip to leave and clearly more than the amount that was not returned to us. But after such an act, maintenance-I think it's superfluous. In general, the dream of visiting this institution came true, but soon crashed on the rocks of rudeness. Don't set foot here anymore. There are many other establishments with a large selection of dishes on the menu, the availability of products to order, service, pleasant staff and a lower price tag. Definitely 1 out of 10. I decided to take my mother to a popular restaurant in Abkhazia - Gagrypsh. Even from afar, the building arouses interest and delight (a huge clock, a wooden structure that is built without a single nail, stone, wide steps) - all this allows you to feel like a royal person majestically strolling through your possessions. 👑 Inside, the restaurant also looks very decent, many things have remained unchanged since the construction of the building. After going into the hall, we sat down at a table. The waiter came up to us and informed us about the deposit of 2000 per adult and 1000 per child. 💰 Since there were three of us, it turned out to be 5,000. I ordered langoustines, my daughter's soup, my mother chose carbonara pasta, ordered juice and coffee. 🦐 🍲 🍝 🥤 ☕️ While we were waiting for food, we went out onto the balcony. The view is mesmerizing. The hall where the restaurant is located is beautiful - sooo high ceilings, gorgeous chandeliers, there are tables on the upper level (but the restaurant does not serve there). After 19:00 - live music. 🎵 The food was brought to us very quickly, in about 15 minutes, which surprised us a little. To say that we were amazed by the cuisine is to say nothing. We haven't seen such DISGUSTING food for a long time!!! The smell of langoustines hinted that something was wrong, soup and pasta did not cause excessive salivation externally and by smell either. 🤨 Thinking that I had eaten too much, I started eating, and so did my daughter and mother. Without any pleasure, my mother and I ate the delights of the restaurant, and my daughter, after eating a little soup, refused to finish it. He did not react to my remark to the waiter that my dish was disgusting. All the time after eating, I felt discomfort in my stomach and after a couple of hours I realized that something was wrong. 🥴 After walking along the embankment for a while and riding on the Ferris wheel, I picked up the girls and we went home. 🚘 When I got home, I drank 4 tablespoons of enterosgel and hugged the basin. 🤢 I didn't sleep until two o'clock in the morning, there was a feeling that langoustines had turned into Kraken in my stomach and their brutal howling did not want to stop in any way. After two hours, I fell asleep in a sitting position on the bed, because when I tried to lie down, I started vomiting. The next day, I continued to take the medicine and by the evening I felt better. Mom and daughter, thank God, got through 🙏🏻
I haven't felt such disappointment for a long time! I would like to believe that we were so unlucky, but I have already heard several negative reviews and understand that we are not alone. I would like to wish the owners of the restaurant to take seriously the control of cooking and the quality of products. 🍇🥒🥩 After all, because of such employees, the restaurant makes a bad reputation for itself and loses customers.

Oh, I do not know how to describe it, the place is really incredibly beautiful, I really want to go back to the resort, Abkhazia is probably the most budget-friendly place in the world where you can relax, and the Gagripsh restaurant has an incredible historical secret-legend. On the tour, they showed everything, explained how everything is an insanely beautiful country. I advise everyone to relax there.

There was no kettle in the room, fortunately I took a mini kettle with me!!! But there are also advantages, a beautiful territory, all in greenery and peacock, close to the sea, 3-4 minutes. Everything was terribly upset. I must say right away that we did not stay in this institution. According to the reviews, we decided to go to the most atmospheric place, BUT: from the threshold they looked at us like homeless people and offered to pay a deposit of 2 thousand per person (there were five of us). Without understanding the price, the menu, how can you ask in such a tone from the doorstep: are you ready to pay when we haven't understood anything at all yet, except that you can't move around the restaurant and there's a fine for it? I read a lot of reviews before visiting!- I postponed the idea of visiting a couple of times ! But on the way back home, my wife and I decided to stop by! The first thing that caught my eye was that the clock does not work on the main wall (although it is mechanical, it must be wound up every day ), even the clock in the hall hanging at the waiters' table does not work)- Paradoxically , time is really frozen there !
At the entrance, a girl met with a smile, placed it, the waiter was also smiling and was ready to take the order in 3 minutes after we studied the menu ... but we no longer studied the menu , but the stories around the edges of the menu …
By the way, the deposit is 1500rubles per person (this is not a problem, since you will leave much more there!) The service is included in the 10% receipt. Payment is only in cash or by transfer. The ATM is on the ground floor at the entrance! The hall was half full when we arrived, but it quickly filled up within a couple of hours! I advise non-smokers not to sit at tables on the balcony, as there is a smoking area there.
They took our order , we went to the gazebo , took pictures , had a smoke , were away for no more than 10 minutes. Back at the table, our fragrant and pleasantly decorated food was already there)
Cheese soup was for 5 , royal ear with a glass of vodka and a sandwich of red caviar ( caviar would be twice as much), Greek salad-there is nothing to complain about , whole olives , lemon is not squeezed , fresh fetax cheese! The cappuccino is great! Tuna steak is also ready to praise, although I asked that it be fried to Medium well.
The interior is certainly impressive, especially when you are familiar with the history. We left at 18:00 at 20:30. There was no live music until 19:30, then a trumpeter or saxophonist started playing (I don't really understand this). The toilet commands respect! It is rare to find such a thing on the territory of Abkhazia , though on the ground floor .
In general, a great place for Abkhazia! Of course, I don't compare it with Moscow , St. Petersburg , etc .
In general, a pleasant place, I advise you to visit ! We also took a walk around the restaurant, there were no questions for us.

Ресторан очень красивый и снаружи и внутри. Торжественные люстры, красные шторы. При этом ощущается какая-то легкость.
Меню разнообразное. Есть и для детей, что выбрать.
Мы заказывали рыбу, мясо, курицу - все было очень вкусно. Цены московские. Стейк из говядины 1400₽, из семги 1600₽.
Вкусный оливье и красивая подача.
Вино от 800₽, далее 1400, потом 2200, и кажется еще было за 3000₽ за бутылку.
У нас была неразговорчивая официантка. А вот столику рядом повезло больше, там молодой официант все рассказывал, советовал, был просто душкой.
Я бы рассматривала поход в Гагрипш как экскурсию. Обязательно к посещению, обязательно заложите бюджет на это.
У нас на троих вышло 9 тыс. Почти.
Учитывайте, что есть обязательный сбор за обслуживание: 10% от суммы чека.
Его сразу включают в счет.
Бронировать стол лучше заранее. Мы бронировали за 3 дня.

The restaurant inside is very beautiful, you can make amazing shots. The building itself is in the process of reconstruction, and its not yet restored part gives its charm and zest.
As for the cuisine, nothing surprising: a personalized salad with bitter and black avocado and sour mango puree; chicken is two grilled chicken breasts, served without sauce, so it's a little dry; for dessert, an ordinary sponge cake with cream; the only thing that was delicious was royal khachapuri. The prices are unreasonably high.

I do not recommend it! The restaurant itself has a history, disassembled in Finland, brought in parts and assembled on site. That's where the advantages end. We came together at 17.00, the load was no more than 10%, the waiter was waited for about 15-20 minutes. There are some basic Abkhazian dishes on the menu, but there are no basic Abkhazian dishes (very strange, because we arrived in Abkhazia). They said that they did not serve wine by the glass, okay, OK, they asked for a bottle of the most common wine there - Psou, there is also on the menu, but in fact it is not there either, but there is homemade 3000 rubles per bottle! There is no grape Abkhazian vodka either, only rye... As a result, I had to order a cheese plate, a barbecue and veal medallions. There were 4 types of cheese on the cheese plate, 4 slices each and a bowl of honey, nothing was decorated. The medallions are bland. The kebab is sour, it feels like it was soaked in vinegar... The bill was waited for about 20 minutes. Except to see the restaurant itself, there is nothing to do there at all. Everything is put on stream, the quality is zero.

Очень аутентичный ресторан, который бережно хранит атмосферу конца 19 - начала 20 века. Красивый интерьер в духе своего времени, вежливый и внимательный персонал, красивая подача и очень вкусные блюда - это всё про Гагрипш. Особое настроение создаёт живая музыка. В наш визит нам удалось послушать скрипку, флейту и саксафон - восторг! Музыканты просто великолепны! А вот вокалистка не понравилась совсем, даже мешала... То ли не профессиональные микрофоны, то ли не отрегулирован звук, то ли просто сама она не так хороша, но каждый раз, когда певица появлялась на сцене, мы искали способ встать из-за стола 😅
Теперь о самом главном: еда. Мы пришли сюда на День рождения большой компанией (8 человек). Ни в чем себя не ограничивали, брали вино, закуски, салаты, горячие блюда, десерты. Все остались очень довольны. Блюда вкусные, большинство со своей изюминкой. Чек вышел ~23 тыс. То есть в среднем по 2800 на человека. На мой взгляд цены сопоставимы с хорошим заведением в центре Москвы. Точно не дороже. Единственное, тут нет ни скидки, ни комплимента от ресторана в честь праздника. Это было немного обидно, но, видимо, такова тут политика.
Единственный минус - это форма одежды. Официанты ходят черном, одетые в брендированные футболки и фартуки. Да, не броско и в целом уместно, но в заведении такого уровня хотелось бы видеть персонал в более официальном стиле. Белые рубашки, на наш взгляд, смотрелсь бы куда лучше. И так же удивило отсутствие дресскода для посетителей. Конечно, в купальниках сюда не пускают, но короткие шорты и топы встречались очень часто и портили общую картину. Хотелось бы более строгих требований к посетителям, чтобы атмосфера поддерживалась, а не стиралась.
Ну и в завершении прикрепляю несколько фото меню (все яндекс не пускает), чтобы вы могли ознакомиться с ценами. Я долго искала какие-то наводки и нашла только за 2020 год, а с того момента цены сильно выросли))

I am disappointed in this restaurant, the girl who meets at the entrance informs that you can only pay in cash (although then the waiter said that it was possible to transfer, but the girl at the entrance said that only cash and sent us to the ATM on the ground floor). I ordered 2 dishes, this is grilled Dorado fish and it was delicious, but the second dish was grilled vegetables, the abomination was disgusting, the tomato was huge and had the consistency of porridge, the same bvl and eggplant, bell pepper was served with bones and that was almost like porridge (I did not eat such terrible vegetables anywhere). A terrible impression from visiting this restaurant! The waiters and staff are arrogant and arrogant! The level of the restaurant is a good dining room in Moscow. Moreover, they use dishonest methods to withdraw money. That's exactly what it is. The waiter offered to order a rack of lamb, which was not on the menu. We have specified the serving size and price. The price turned out to be quite affordable. We ordered it... But when the bill was brought, it turned out that the waiter announced the price for 100 grams, and not for a portion. Their serving is standard - 400 grams. You can't order 200 grams or 300 grams. At the same time, he did not warn that he was voicing the price for 100 grams. It is strange that he did not announce the price for 50 grams or 10. As a result, we paid 4 times more. It is a pity that such waiters and such eateries spoil the impression of Abkhazia and its population. We will never return to Abkhazia, and even more so to this "restaurant"...

Атмосферный ресторан с очень интересными интерьерами. Заказывали блюда на мангале, салаты и вино. Все очень достойно!!
Обслуживание на хорошем уровне, что приятно выделяет ресторан среди остальных. Отдельное спасибо нашему официанту Кате)) она сделала наш вечер)) ушли с хорошим настроением, сытые и довольные.
А шикарный вид из ресторана на море делает вечер полностью незабываемым!!

I really wanted to get to Gagripsh, but we rest in the fall, and it is already closed. This year I was lucky enough to visit this historical place. The beauty is of course incredible, carved wood , gorgeous chandeliers , in general, the decor, as they say, is expensive and rich. The staff is polite, friendly, although at the entrance with a smile on his face announces that the order must be at least 2 thousand per person (cheaper in the morning). We waited for half an hour, but it was not a burden, a pleasant atmosphere, live music. The food is served beautifully , but absolutely not tasty. and the ear is royally not edible at all. Our order : ear in royal style, meat in Abkhazian , shish kebab, and a decanter of lemonade - 6000. Of course, it was worth visiting this place, but I don't want to visit it anymore.

After 16 o'clock, the dishes of Abkhazian cuisine and pasta stated in the menu are not served, which initially there is no information about. The deposit is 2000 rubles, the balance is non-refundable. And it's not tasty at all.

Required to visit! In 2024, industrial air conditioners were installed, now it's not hot in the restaurant. The service is fast - friendly waiters. The kitchen is great. From appetizers to dessert! The deposit per person is 1500. The average check is about five thousand for two. Very tasty. I recommend.

Обожаю этот ресторан! Когда приезжаем в Абхазию, обязательно приходим сюда. Очень вкусная кухня, обходительные официанты, само здание, атмосфера, живая музыка! Бесконечно можно перечислять плюсы! Но, есть и минусы. Дорого! Готовьтесь оставить приличную сумму в Гагрипше. Депозит при заказе стола 1500 р на взрослого, 50% на ребёнка. С учётом цен на блюда вы закажете на гораздо бОльшую сумму нежели депозит)) И да, там всегда аншлаг, поэтому в сезон столики нужно бронировать заранее. Сайта у ресторана нет, надо прийти и забронировать. Хотя бы один раз, но побывать там однозначно стОит!
