Очень вкусные блюда! Интересное место. Кто остановится в старой Гагре, обязательно советую побывать. Романтическая обстановка, игра на саксофоне, живой звук, - все это вдохновляет и подчеркивает твой отдых; переносишься как буд то в начало хх века, еще в царские времена с принцами и принцессами. Интересно рассматривать интерьер того времени, механизмы подьема люстр и вообще все!!!

This is indicated on the plates. This is a historical place, and I would like to see it, it is interesting... At the entrance, we were told that the deposit is from 1,500 rubles per person. To which I said that we would not eat for such an amount, but the waitress reassured us: "With our prices, you will definitely eat"! )))) The menu is mediocre, the prices are very high, considering that they definitely do not know how to cook a barbecue. A glass of homemade wine 200 ml - 750 rubles. also 10% for the service. Tin! We were not thrilled. When you go to such a restaurant, you leave so much money, I would like such a restaurant not to dictate and not leave guests without a choice. I wanted to give 1 star, but 2 for the egg boat, it's really delicious there.

The food is not delicious, the waiters are snobs, in principle, you can not try to serve them since the service is already included in the bill. Атмосфера ресторана располагает к погружению в исторические периоды его основания (1903 год) и последующих эпох (революции, советского времени). Очень вкусно, по российским меркам недорого (на 1500 р депозита можно хорошо поесть). Обслуживание на высшем уровне, живая музыка местных исполнителей меня до слез растрогала. Фото внутри и снаружи очень красивые получаются.

Gagripsh is a unique restaurant. We had a rest in Abkhazia in October 2023 and could not help but visit this wonderful restaurant. This is a meeting with the history of this country. Beautiful interior, wonderful live music, beautiful serving of dishes, skill of chefs and staff, delicious food. We tried the national dishes. It's very tasty. Cooking, serving is fine!! You should definitely go to this restaurant at least once. The interior is impressive, assembled without a single nail, the views inside and from the balcony are wonderful. According to the menu, the portions are huge, we didn't eat everything. Everything that was ordered is delicious and even specially checked for negative reviews, we liked everything. The service is excellent, but we were served by a waiter from Russia, only at the entrance they meet us strangely, immediately with a condition, about a deposit of 1500 per person, some are scared and they leave. But this is a restaurant and the prices here are restaurant prices, even tea and cake will already be 1500, why scare at the entrance with this, I didn't even understand.

Visited on April 23, 2024. There are few people at 17-00. We took royal khachapuri, hominy, cheese rolls and nut-eggplant rolls. Oriental coffee and strudel. I liked everything, above expectations. The strudel surprised me very pleasantly. The service is quite normal, without fuss (and there are few people). We did not take a deposit (we did not book in advance) but I said from the doorway that we wanted to eat normally. The music is unobtrusive, calmly neutral. In such a place, I would include classics in modern processing))
By the way, hominy in Abkhazia differs from Moldovan - white and finely ground.

The most famous restaurant in Abkhazia does not know what service and good cuisine are! We visited this place with a friend. At the entrance, we were informed that the evening deposit is 2000, approx. In case of incomplete boarding, the institution was offered to sit either at the stage itself or on the balcony, okay, we sat on the balcony. Then some kind of game began, the waitress repeated several times that the deposit was 2000 and whether she would definitely open the champagne and whether we would definitely stay and order for such a "large amount". They don't look like schoolgirls with a friend for a long time. There was no ordinary Abkhazian wine, apparently only this restaurant was not delivered, only their branded wine was available for 3000.We ordered mussels in sauce, khachapuri boat, salad with roast beef and fried suluguni. We didn't finish any of the dishes! Mussels are small and dry, instead of roast beef in the salad there was just boiled meat, a boat - it feels like a raw egg was poured on a friendship cheese, the cheese did not stretch as it should do in a boat! Fried suluguni.. There are no words.. It was just something in the shape of Julia Vysotskaya's cheesecakes floating in a pile of butter , and even fried with pesto !! After a piece of this cheese, nausea tormented me all night. I do not know if other dishes had to be ordered to be edible, but in a good restaurant all dishes should be able to cook well! One of the three cubicles is working in the toilet! I definitely do not recommend it!

Terrible service. The waiters don't even smile, they are rude from the doorway. We came in, we wanted to eat. But the waiter guy and the girl with their attitude discouraged all desire to eat there.
They didn't even try the food, the mood was spoiled. I am very disappointed.
And the building is beautiful, of course, but I recommend changing the staff to smiling and polite guys.

According to the dishes: caesar with shrimps is satisfactory, the shrimps were clearly fried the day before the salad was cooked, in olivier the situation with the shrimp is similar. The dessert of the Prince of Oldenburg is delicious, it was the most worthy dish from the whole table. The service is unhurried, every arrival of the waiter was expected like a guy from the army. The place is beautiful, the restaurant is impressive. The textiles in the establishment and the wood smelled of the spirit of unrestrained carousing and cheating. In the menu you can find the biography of the founder of the restaurant.

Пошли туда, поскольку была там в детстве до войны и очень хотела вернуться. Ну в целом интерьер конечно хорош, обслуживание тоже неплохое, шикарная идея с оформлением меню. А вот соответсвие цены и качества кухни не в пользу поваров. Брали разные салаты и большое блюдо мяса. Салаты нормальные, но не вау, а шашлык это вообще грусть-печаль по вкусу, но подача конечно шикарная...с открытым огнём. А так...через дорогу делают в сто раз лучше и в три раза дешевле, хоть и без понтов. Но, гештальт закрыт))) больше туда не пойдём. Ужин на семью в 5 человек обошёлся нам в 13 тыс и мы не ликовали в заказе...

The fact that the historical place, the photo of the institution as a symbol of Abkhazia is yes. And so nothing special, the price tag is too high, the interior is like in Soviet restaurants, the kitchen is nothing special (our chef Madonna cooked much tastier in a mini-hotel). And the waiters take everything off the table and half-eaten food and half-finished drinks while you went out on the terrace for 5 minutes.

Disgusting service. There is a waiter, Timur. Its purpose is to deceive visitors. You place an order, and he brings something else. For example, they asked for an Abkhazian champagne brew (price 1000 rubles), brings some kind of loft and says it's Abkhazian (the price in the bill is 4000), brings food from the chef. I ate disgusting fish, especially flounder. Another 10% off service. Never set foot in this restaurant again. I will give 1 star to all my friends and acquaintances. We had a vacation with our spouse in Abkhazia....We are hoteliers from the Kola Peninsula. She has worked in the catering industry for 25 years. Completely in shock.....Service 1, dishes 1, . Abkhazians, brothers, why are you so godless????? Why should you needle the guests who bring you money in such a vile way???? From now on, I will not recommend a vacation in Abkhazia to any of the northerners, and I will also do my best so that all our guests from Moscow and St. Petersburg know the true attitude of you to your guests.

В это ресторан нужно сходить обязательно, но один раз!
Начну с плюсов.
Очень крутые интерьеры и экстерьеры, здание не имеет аналогов, красивые виды, потрясающие часы.
Из минусов.
Как только мы туда зашли нам предложили оплатить депозит в 1,5 тр с человека. Объявлений перед рестораном о депозите не было. Якобы депозит, не понятно за что, а по факту обед для каждой персоны за 1,5 тр не зависимо сколько вы возьмете, кружку пива или полноценный обед... Конечно если вы возьмете больше чем депозит, то нужно доплатить. Мы решили взять тайм-аут и обсудить в семейном кругу нужен нам такой обед или нет. Вышли на улицу, и я поинтересовался у выходящей из ресторана пары по поводу депозита. Пара сильно напряглась и удивилась, им никакой депозит не предлагался.
Я зашёл в ресторан выяснить в чем дело. Мне сказали, что депозит начинают брать с 13 часов, но для нас сделают исключение... Я так и не понял, развод или нет, этот депозит... В итоге мы оставили практически ту сумму которую они запрашивали как депозит, но осадок остался.
Кухня не удивила, официанты не расторопны и не очень обходительны. Ресторану не хватает лоска и хорошего управляющего!

The atmosphere of the place is great thanks to literally everything that surrounds you. The building itself, assembled without a single nail, a whiff of history is felt by every cell of the skin. We were served by the waiter Ekaterina, who not only offered various dishes in detail and deliciously, but also immersed us in the details of historical events that took place in this iconic place.
The kitchen is beyond praise.

The facade of the building is beautiful, in principle that's all ... I dreamed of celebrating my birthday in it, we arrived, but the staff turned out to be not customer-oriented, apparently after Russia it was difficult for us to accept such service.
There were flowers on all the tables, but they didn't even bother to put them on us, they planted them right at the entrance. We, who are used to our restaurants, were surprised when the greeter answered our question whether there are any buns (as usual, we are used to a compliment from the restaurant) for a birthday, we heard that someone always comes here with some kind of holiday, so there is nothing. Well, figs with him, of course I wanted to shoot an epic commercial, but you can do it.
We ordered Dorado on the grill, if we weren't so hungry, and we couldn't imagine where else to eat, we wouldn't have eaten this boiled fish. In general, the association is now about this restaurant, that it is absolutely not worth its advertising and in my blog I did not use to report this

Начну с плюсов, конечно это внешний вид ресторана, красиво, величественно, здание с интересной историей. На этом пожалуй все, в ресторан большой ажиотаж, если хотите сесть на «козырное место» с видом, то придется забронировать стол. Мы не бронировали, пришли по факту и нас поставили перед фактом, что у них действует система депозита, взрослые -2000₽ дети 1000₽, ну ок, рассаживает хостес, т.е. сами выбрать себе свободный стол вы не сможете. Ну, это все мелочи, нам принесли меню, оно достаточно разнообразное, я выбрала царскую уху на первое и стейк из семги на второе. Принесли уху, я отметила, что в меню в ухе были креветки, по факту их там не оказалось, ну ладно, уха оказалась вкусная. Вынесли стейк и тут я понимаю, что в меню я к стейку идет спаржа, но мне ее не принесли. Позвали официанта, она сделала вид, что удивлена, но я уверена, что это норма у них в ресторане, рассчитано на невнимательных туристов, спаржа ведь не самый дешевый продукт, а в меню он идет как отдельный вид гарнира. Спаржу в итоге принесли, но она была просто несъедобная, ножом не резалась, есть я ее не стала. Сам стейк тоже не назвать очень вкусным, и это блюдо на минуточку там стоит 1600₽) еще заказывали якобы домашний лимонад, не знаю что для абхазов лимонад, но для меня это уж то но не компот разбавленный минералкой с добавлением мяты. Ценник тоже не малый за компот 600₽. Короче, мы не доели то что заказывали, мне лично было невкусно и плюсом еще получила расстройство желудка, болел живот всю ночь и мутило. До этого ужина и после мы ничего не ели, соотвественно можно сделать выводы. Я не рекомендую это место посещения, если бы не было депозита, можно бы было зайти, выпить кофе, а кушать там не стоит.

Perhaps for someone it was the best and most prestigious restaurant in Gagra, but now, alas, it is not so. Excellent architecture, cozy place, pleasant atmosphere - this is all that remains positive in this place.
The smiling administrator immediately warns that the deposit per person is 1500 rubles and if you are satisfied with it, invites you to a table. The menu and wine list were served immediately. By menu...the menu raises a lot of questions that the waiters will answer, if you wait for them, of course. Although the answers, as it turned out later, are not entirely reliable. Of what we would like to order, there were no dishes and drinks. And if the dishes can be replaced with something, then it's a problem with drinks. In addition to liter compote and mineral water, there is nothing from soft drinks.
While waiting for the order, we were able to walk and enjoy the views. This is perhaps the most pleasant of the whole trip to this institution.
When we received our dishes, we were surprised by the large portion size...but the taste left much to be desired. The meat is dry and cooked on obviously bad and old oil. This rancid taste was on everything that was fried, and from the dish in the pan, even smelled of this disgusting oil. They could not eat it, and considering that there is nothing to drink with ... more.
When it came time to pay, it turned out that there was not a single employee in the hall...there was a desire to just get up and leave.
If you want to spend a pleasant evening and have a delicious meal, the city of Gagra will offer you many places, but not the "restaurant" Gagripsh.

Question: we would have eaten for 3500 rubles, but we would have enjoyed it, and the establishment would have made a profit. But no. Today we decided to visit this institution, I put -10 on this place! "Exclusive wine" is a powder with sugar, nothing more. The service is terrible, the waiter came up to us after 40 minutes. The dishes recommended by the "waiter" turned out to be selected rubbish. Seafood salad is a severe delay. Grilled fish tastes like coals on the outside and is completely raw on the inside! After visiting this institution, there was only a nasty aftertaste of deception and terrible heartburn.

A wonderful atmospheric place! We were there for the New Year holidays. The combination of garlands, live music and awareness of the origin and age of the restaurant create a fabulous atmosphere! Of course, you want to dress appropriately in such a place (obviously not short shorts or holey jeans). The cuisine is delicious and hearty, the desserts are very tasty! Everything is great!

Шикарный ресторан в сердце Гагр 💚 живая музыка, вкусное меню , прекрасные виды с балкона ресторана ! Советую всем посетить, но лучше столик бронировать заранее , хотя мы пришли без брони, девушка администратор повздыхала с видом дела что нас некуда посадить... все занято 🤷♀️и предложила столик у выхода , мы согласились , потому что был крайний день отпуска , и очень хотелось побывать в данном заведении , но все кто приходил после нас , тоже не бронировали места и им тоже находились места 🤷♀️🤷♀️странно однако )))

We decided to visit this institution as part of sightseeing of old Gagra and drink a cup of coffee, contemplating the views of the restaurant. However, our humble desires were immediately wrapped up by a nice lady at the entrance (the receptionist?) informing us that it will cost us 4,500 re to enter and occupy an empty table. Just to come in and sit at a table for 4,500 rubles, Karl!!! Not to mention ordering something, of course I understand that the restaurant is very popular and all that... But not to the same extent... If this institution were located somewhere in the center of Dubai, and not surrounded by overgrown trees and abandoned sanatoriums, then these prices could still be understood... Moreover, about 8 years ago, the entrance was completely free. So dear tourists and guests, if you have extra money, you are welcome, as they say, and we will do it some other time.

We were on New Year's holidays in January 2024, the place is atmospheric, you can't say anything. BEAUTIFUL, elegant, the girl sang live music, an amazing voice.The kitchen is 4 + , they are trying to be seen .The staff is polite.The view from the balcony to the sea is gorgeous. It is here that I would still return , despite everything else in Abkhazia .
