Great hotel. Very clean, comfortable, this is the story of the hotel. The pool is good for both children and adults. A stunning park, a good beach, an elevator adds comfort, the hotel was 100% populated, but the feeling was 30-40%. Very good staff. The breakfasts are excellent. I never go back to places, but I will definitely come back here, it is very convenient from Sochi airport (40-60 minutes turned out with customs).
I advise you for the summer for a week and in autumn / spring I think it's great here.
A separate story is the park. Read it. It is a monument of landscape architecture. Its creation is a real labor feat.

Unfortunately, this year, the service is very poor, the reception staff is not competent and rude, the cleaning is terrible, you will not interrogate any toilet paper or anything. Unfortunately, there is no management, it has no influence on the staff, they hung 2 dressing gowns at the entrance, they demand to pay for the third one at the exit, also with a refrigerator, I recommend checking everything that is put to you. Thank you for this wonderful place, for this, in my opinion, risky investment, this is, in my opinion, the best hotel in all of Abkhazia. And probably even the entire Black Sea coast! Mriya is probably more solid, but it is significantly more expensive, and no one else has such a location.
I'll have the nerve to describe the cons, but (!) this is already the sixth star 😂
1. There is no Internet in the Mayak cafe. Wi-fi is everywhere! Even on the beach, but on the fifth floor, by some chance, he does not catch, urgently for work he needs to run to the lobby to the elevators.
2. It would be great if the Lighthouse cafe switched, at least during the season, to a round-the-clock mode. At least drinks like the lobby bar on the ground floor.
3. It would be great if you installed spotlights on the tennis court, it's hard to play in the heat, and it's dark after sunset. It's difficult to guess these two hours, I brought rackets, and I never managed to play in the evening.
4. The billiards club is under lock and key, open again until 22:00. I wish I was at least 23. If the guys have no children, after 22 there are no classes at all. Like a Soviet sanatorium.

Thank you for the loyal attitude to regular customers, for 30 minutes of spa as a gift, for these sets of toothbrushes, for high-quality cosmetics, for the fact that you can display any video in the room on the TV screen, for a wonderful variety of breakfasts, for the elaborate menu in the lighthouse (finally it happened!), for the organization of sap, for the concerts, for the grill bar Forest (although I did not find it, allegedly something is broken) but the idea is great. For the fact that everywhere there is 99% of the Internet is gorgeous, cleanly sterile, and well maintained!

Good afternoon! We have just arrived from this wonderful vacation. The first time was in that year. The hotel has made good changes compared to that year. Now there are a lot of sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach-there is enough for everyone! Friendly staff at the Panorama restaurant, the assortment of pastries and cakes has changed, they have become tastier👌thanks to the new pastry chef) I observed that the hotel guests do not take many fruits with them to the beach, which is also very pleasant (that year the staff asked not to take anything out). The range of single-use cosmetics has changed, the quality has become better, the flavors are more pleasant.There is a new cafe on the upper terrace of the beach). The only thing I want is to consider (as in other hotels) compliments for guests who have returned again) the same mini bar, for example, would be very nice as a gift) by the way, it was also added. We were satisfied and will come back again, thanks for the positive emotions!

We had a rest from August 8 to August 15 with my husband. The hotel is lovely, but there are unpleasant nuances.We lived in a building with a reception desk.On the first day everything was fine, and then a strong smell of sewage appeared from the drain in the shower to the point of pain in the eyes, they moved us to the next room only 3 days later with irritation and reluctance. By the way, we had a room with a sea view on the 3rd floor, so you can't see the sea from our terrace, because there are two huge pine trees, this is for those to whom the view is fundamental. I liked that the hotel has its own shuttle, but why not make a stop at Abaat, my bronchitis worsened and I had to go to the pharmacy in the heat. Overall, the hotel is very good.Clean, quiet, delicious and very beautiful! I recommend.

We had a rest from June 15 to 22. The hotel was pleasantly surprised by its intimacy, the opportunity not to encounter crowds of people. Pleasant music sounds throughout the territory, the staff is perfectly polite and friendly. All requests were answered instantly. The room had everything you might need) We lived in 218, with a beautiful view of the sea and the garden. It didn't come cheap, but we had a wonderful rest. Of course, the condition of Gagra itself is depressing, but this is not for the hotel... Among the wishes: diversify the menu of the restaurants - Grill bar and Lighthouse. Just traditional dishes, otherwise by the end of the week everything is already boring.

The hotel is just top, definitely worth the money.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts for every taste and stomach, sauna, hammam, swimming pool. Everything is clean and well-groomed territory. Clean water on the sea, I haven't seen a single jellyfish, very few people, peace of mind is guaranteed.
We visited all the restaurants, liked the "FOREST" the most, and the prices are not small, but all the dishes are on the level, made from fresh products and of good quality. There are dishes like works of art, instafoods will be satisfied 😂
Special attention should be paid to the fact that the hotel is located on a cliff, there are a lot of height differences, shortness of breath is guaranteed to smokers and non-sports people 🙃
And finally, from the gazebo to the left and to the end, there is an observation deck - the sunsets are just bomb-like.

A wonderful family hotel! I think it is the best in Abkhazia today. Design, comfort, ergonomics, cleanliness in the hotel and rooms. A park, a private beach, a swimming pool, a musical fountain, several restaurants and bars on site. High level of service, very friendly staff. There are things to do: billiards, courts, sapboards, etc. We had a rest in early July 2022, we were very excited!

We had a rest from 16.09 to 27.09.22. The hotel is just super. There's just nothing to find fault with. An assortment of breakfast for every taste.The rooms are clean and cozy. Cleaning is daily. They took an ordinary standard without a balcony. The sea view is beautiful. there is practically no noise from the road. The descent to the beach is convenient with an elevator. The staff is very young and friendly. There is a bit of animation missing, but the administration promised to work on it. In short, if someone decided to go, you will not regret it. We were from June 10 to June 20, 2022, the moment when the hotel exceeded expectations.
An incredibly beautiful, well-maintained hotel! The rooms are clean, the linen is snow-white:we even had our bathrobes changed several times in 10 days, water every morning, bath accessories, hair dryer, ironing board and iron in every room, even a needle and thread! It is clear that they take care of the guests. The staff is trying very hard, the guys at the reception are very friendly: they will tell you everything, even offered to escort us if we get lost. Smart guys!
The restaurant "Mayak"-the quality of the food is mediocre for the money that is indicated on the menu. There is a restaurant "Abaata" nearby-the quality of the cuisine is higher there, of course, even the tea house "Abaata" is more pleasant in terms of price-quality ratio. I went to the kitchen and took off the star.
The pool is wonderful,heated,soft sun beds with a mattress,umbrellas, a wonderful bar with cocktails on the bar (responsive bartender)
The restaurant "Mayak", where breakfasts were held, is unrealistically beautiful, with modern renovation and stunning views of the cypresses and the sea (stole my heart), it was nice to be in it and always delicious, the breakfast menu was modified, or rather alternated, which was pleasing.During the meal, even the dishes were removed from the tables by the waiters.
We took a tour for breakfast, at the reception desk it was additionally possible to purchase meals: lunch + dinner according to the buffet system for 2,900 rubles per person. I highly recommend honey cake with cranberries, it seems to be called that, very tasty.
The hotel has its own beach, well-groomed, equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and wooden paths so that it does not hurt to walk on the pebbles, but it is advised to take sneakers, because pebbles are not to everyone's liking. An elevator leads to the beach (modern, air-conditioned), because the hotel is located on a mountain. The hotel's feature is also a very beautiful area with flowers, it smelled very tasty of hydrangeas, roses, wisteria bloomed back when we were at the hotel. For me, there was time in Abkhazia, and in particular in this hotel, a place of power: cypresses, flowers, aromas, the sound of the sea, birdsong.
And of course, the stunning nature: we took excursions to the Ritsa, new Athos and Akarmara (an abandoned city and waterfalls) from biblio globus (a girl came to the hotel). The prices are not much different from those that are sold on the street or on Instagram (the margin is small), we did not like the New Athos tour at all ...
In general, I liked it, but I would like to go to the restaurant "Mayak" of a new chef.

We had a rest in June 2022. Service, staff, rooms, full board - everything is on top! A luxury hotel where you can spend your entire vacation) Your own beach by elevator (there are few places where you will find such a thing), a heated swimming pool, a gorgeous large green area, a sauna, a gym. And full board is something, we ate as much as we could)
The only drawback is the on-site restaurant, where they cook on coals in the forest. Well, it was very dirty, the tables were covered in dust, the waiter messed up the order and honestly, it was not tasty there. But I think this fact will definitely be taken into account and measures will be taken. A total of five! We will come again, thank you for a comfortable stay!

I hear a lot that there is no service in Abkhazia. Just choose your hotel carefully. This hotel has a service. Moreover, it is very good. The staff is polite, they will always help you, even the clearing staff will smile and wish you a good day. It's very nice. The service is really at a high level. The breakfasts are simply delicious. Cocktails on the beach are very tasty. I want to pay special attention to the approach to children, it's just super! On the beach there is a tent in the shade with a bunch of games and a tutor who helps children in the game, paints stones with them. There is also a children's room where you can leave your child. Very kind and attentive caregivers work with children in this hotel. GR is just a delight. Thank you. We will definitely come back to you more than once

I advise you!!! It was unexpectedly cool. Very beautiful. Everything is new and modern. Food for 5+. The lounge bar on the 5th floor is cool. The staff is excellent. There is a free bus to Gagra. There is a sauna. There are many children's areas. And what is the singing fantan? In the evening, it's great to go out on the playground to listen to good music and look at the fountain, whose jets rise and fall to the beat of the music and shimmer with different colors.

We rest at the beginning of July 22, the impression is twofold: on the one hand, everything is new and beautiful and the renovation is excellent, the room is huge, the guys at the reception are helpful and attentive. On the other hand (we have already written here) - zero service in all places where there is food (there are three of them), and the food itself is simply disgusting. At the same time, it is not just the quality of the food that is bad, but the discrepancy between the price and the quality. Lamb kebab for 2000 (two thousand) rubles for 250 grams??? Are you guys serious???? Pork kebab - 1200 for the same 250 grams??? 1800 for a serving of kalkan?? I'm silent about the quality for this money, but at least you can serve the juice that has not been fermented to the child and add lemonades to the menu in the summer.. not to mention the alcohol is non-Abkhazian.
The Lighthouse Restaurant is a separate song. Waiters to the question - why are we waiting for boiled pasta for 1.5 (one and a half) hours??? - they answer directly - because the kitchen is not adapted to the current menu. And when asked what is difficult about boiled pasta for a child and why make such a menu, they say - we have a new chef who is babysat to solve this issue. Well, well, good luck.. so far, he has not managed to fry squid (urgently defrosted), or make a decent salad with duck without pouring sauce from a jar into it. We ordered a plate of vegetables, put it on the table without plates, if you want to eat with your hands, if you want to put a napkin on your table, say thank you for waiting for it for only 40 minutes. Should I pour the wine first? No, you haven't heard..
In general, if you have a lot of time and patience (and money), go ahead. But it's better to look for a cafe in the city, the quality is the same, only the price tag is 3 times lower.
In general, I hope that my review will be read by the hotel management, who really wants to advise you to take a specialist's advice, redesign the menu for those kitchen possibilities, take additional people and lower the marginality for food, starting to earn money at the bar, as most restaurants do. You don't want to come back to eat a second time, because you failed in all positions. It's a shame that a new, beautiful hotel leaves a sad impression due to poor food management

A wonderful hotel! Solid 4*+ ! Brand new, opened in May 2021. In fact, the former sanatorium "Ukraine" is very well restored, after that the sanatorium "Moscow". A place with a history! The closest one from the Russian border, i.e. the road to the hotel will take a little time. Modern design of the rooms, beautiful well-groomed territory, private beach (via an elevated passage with an elevator) outdoor heated pool, sun loungers, musical fountain (turned on every evening with a different music program), swing, sauna with a font, fitness room, indoor pool.
The staff is very polite and friendly. The hotel has animators who conduct classes in aqua aerobics, Norbekov gymnastics. Film screenings on the big screen are held every evening at 6 p.m. They don't let you get bored!
The hotel has 2 restaurants: the main one and on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea and sunsets. And also a cafe-bar with delicious desserts!

The food at full board is so-so, the room is small, you can eat, but you've seen it better. In the restaurants on the territory of the hotel, the service is disgusting, the Abkhazian waiters are in no hurry, they waited a long time in the Lighthouse, as a result, when everyone had eaten, the waitress brings croutons, which should have been brought first to the soup, and not to sit at the end of dinner to gnaw them... It's the same in the grill bar: there's really nothing to eat, the soups are tasteless, the order was waited for an hour!!! This is generally ... well, there is a separate story about the beach workers: they themselves carried sun beds from the second level to the first... It's an outrage, and this is at the beginning of the season when there aren't many people either... Well, the hotel is gorgeous, of course, but it also costs decently. But employees should be drilled. The drill. Well-trained. For such and such money.

This is not the first time I have rested here, this place is worthy of attention, and all connoisseurs of beauty and comfort should know about it. So in order:
1. The best place in Abkhazia is 100%. There is no "raid" of the USSR, the hotel has been reconstructed and turned into a modern functional building. The surrounding area has remained untouched and this is a plus! Stone bruschatka, railings, flowerpots, etc. During the Stalin era, they fascinate with their beauty, and the fact that they have been preserved almost in their original form. The views are a separate song, on the one hand the mountains, on the other the sea and everything is green.
2. Kitchen. It has improved significantly since my last visit. The guys are doing well, listening to the guest and improving their work. The buffet has become more diverse, everything is fresh and delicious. I took a room only with breakfast and regretted that it was not full board, the Swedish food is worthy to be in you not only for breakfast, but also for lunch and dinner)) We were also surprised by the restaurants on the territory, in particular "Les" and "Mayak".. Just rolled out from behind the table)) The forest is for barbecue lovers, the meat is fried, it's crazy how delicious it is! In tandem with a Feihua compote or tangerine juice in general, and khachapuri, mmmm, I recommend it!
Lighthouse- ah....views...This is a real instagrammed place! You sit as if in the middle of the sea. I was torn between a fork and a camera))) Most of the dishes I liked tom yam with seafood, salad with duck and persimmon, salad with baked beetroot, and risotto with cod. I remember and already want to go back))
3. What to do. There is a warm, clean swimming pool on site, for adults and separately for children. A playground, a gym, a library with interesting copies of books, a sauna, a tennis court. Since I rested alone, I tried everything during my stay!
The sea is clean, a few minutes walk from the hotel along the picturesque bridge.
The staff is polite and caring.
Result:I definitely recommend it! Personally, I'll be back again!

A very good hotel in all respects. Now we live here and admire every day how well everything is arranged! The SPA is simply magnificent, excellent specialists and equipment, the pools are clean, the beach is well equipped - there are sun beds, tables, Cafes. The food is good in all restaurants. The fountain is very beautiful. The rooms match the good Turkish "fives". We will definitely come here in winter!

We had a family vacation, two adults, three children, for 10 days from 07/16/2023 .The hotel is super, large territory, swimming pool,sauna, its own beach,exclusive elevator to the sea,its own pier,courteous staff,clean and cozy rooms, sufficient noise insulation.Meals- we had only breakfasts, varied and hearty, fruits: cherries, strawberries, medlars, oranges, etc. Not convenient moments: the way from the hotel to the nearest cafes and the seaside park and the embankment goes along the road where the manholes are open, and you also have to run across a busy highway, but it's a trifle. The hotel is worth the money spent.

It is beautiful, but unreasonably expensive and the service component leaves much to be desired. Everything is very strict and according to an inconvenient schedule.
There is practically no children's animation, the animators are inexperienced girls, the children's room is open until 17 and only on weekdays. It's like there are no vacationers on weekends... At 19 o'clock there are like children's parties... but I can't call this event a cheap antics of an animator.
The beach is open until 20:00, there is no way to walk along the evening promenade. The nearest outdoor beach is a 25-minute walk from the hotel, along the highway.
There is nothing to do at the hotel in the evening, there is no entertainment program.
The musical fountain is turned on at 21:30, when small children already want to sleep.
At first glance, the hotel makes a very good impression, but due to the lack of thoughtful service details and a good entertainment program, it seems that guests are not important to the hotel at all. We paid and that's fine.
Strict internal rules are much more important.
We won't come a second time.

One of the best, if not the best hotel in Abkhazia. The hotel is extremely self-sufficient, well-developed infrastructure for leisure, food and recreation. The level of service is excellent. The garden (nature) located on the territory is particularly admired. The stay leaves a very pleasant aftertaste and a desire to return again.

I am satisfied with the service of the hotel. I stopped by because of the late flight at night. They accepted me, explained the rules and what to eat for breakfast.
There are excursions on the territory, I took a trip to Lake Ritsa-I really liked it. For 1500 you will be picked up, shown interesting places and brought back. if necessary, they will help with places in the city and taxis.
While waiting for the transfer, there is a cafe on the territory of its own, books to read.
The location is very cool:
5 minutes by a quiet walk to the sea;
the palace of the Prince of Oldenburg is visible from the window;
seaside Park;
The colonnade is a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
A separate heart about the swimming pool on the territory of the hotel. It is not with seawater and without chlorine. It is heated to 35-40 degrees, if you eat out of the bathing season, this is a great substitute.
All-inclusive meals with breakfast. there is everything from salads and hot to porridges and vegetables.

One of the most decent first-line establishments on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. It was created on the basis of a sanatorium built in 1935 - the place has a great history. Around the hotel there is a large enclosed beautiful man-made terraced park with many nooks, cozy benches, observation decks. The legacy of earlier times has been restored and put in order. Alleys of towering cypresses, rocks, rare plants. The park is seriously being taken care of, and it is unique in itself.

The hotel is excellent, very satisfied, a huge garden located on a slope with many stairs and passages, attentive and helpful staff, room cleaning every day, an outdoor swimming pool with heated water. After the restoration of the building, the hotel has recently opened, so everything is new here, from floors to ceilings, both in the rooms and in the corridors. As for the beach, there is its own beach, descent to the beach on a new elevator, to which passage is carried out over a bridge with an inscription in Gagra, in fact the beginning of the "Old Gagra". This bridge offers wonderful views of the coastline. There is a singing fountain, a performance every evening at 20:30. Hammam, sauna, swimming pool help out a lot when the weather is rainy.

At the end of March, when there were torrential rains and night frosts in Moscow, we went to the "south" to breathe, admire, take pictures and breathe. I was in Gagra eight years ago and I remember the elevator from the old boarding house to the sea very well. On this trip, I saw this elevator and this one again...but it is no longer a boarding house, but a renovated, incredibly beautiful hotel. There was no limit to my surprise! Guys, this is heaven on Earth - an open-air swimming pool with sea views, a huge green area, a sauna, a hammam, a SPA area, a gym, tennis! It rained for the first few days of our stay, but the hotel has a lot to do. Everything is new, beautiful, stylish! The interior is very tastefully selected - veneer, solid wood, upholstered furniture. Floor-to-ceiling windows, sea views-just a fairy tale. Perfect for photos on the social network) Of course we stayed there to live! Everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail, there is even a sewing kit and a shoe-cleaning mitt. We liked the buffet breakfast in the restaurant, it was delicious and varied. And in the morning, on my birthday, as a surprise gift, I was served an incredibly delicious truffle dessert for breakfast. I was eating dessert, looking out through the huge windows at the sea and saw dolphins swimming. Guys, I almost burst into tears from the buzz. Good service, good breakfasts. Large parking area. It is clear that they have invested heavily in the restructuring of Moscow.
But there is a feature. The hotel is located far from the city. Only taxis or minibuses. The nearest cafes / shops are 15 minutes "below" the city. This is also a plus, because there is no one on the beach except those staying at the hotel

We did not arrive in high season and this is rather a plus. There are few residents, the beach is empty, the sea is clean, I swim alone in the morning)))

We booked a room with breakfast only. There is a good selection of dishes at breakfast and everything is very tasty!

We are resting at the moment .we arrived for 5 days after a vacation in Sukhum. To be honest, we are unpleasantly surprised. the hotel seems to be of a good standard for Abkhazia. gorgeous territory, good rooms (for a suite ... for the price of 19 thousand it's expensive, but with the condition that you keep such a territory ..) It's a nice beach, and it really has its own beach.Noooooooo....at 8 o'clock, the life of the hotel ends. The entrance to the sea is closed, to the pool too ... but somehow....To the question why the pool is closed from 20.00..a great answer is filtration ... well, what are you..more than 12 hours????Next ... there is nothing to eat from the word nothing at all, almost… At the moment there is only one bar with a kitchen..the menu is meager to the point of impossible (it's good that we're here for 5 days, otherwise we'll starve to death) there is, of course, a buffet, but....What are you talking about???yes, not everyone wants to sit and eat like in a canteen, maybe someone has their own preferences, diets, and in general I want to have dinner in a beautiful place and sit, and not just excuse me, devour and leave????
