Good day! I think this is a wonderful place! The views are mind-blowing! The lake is incredibly beautiful, and the staff, who by all means, by hook or by crook, will do everything to make you visit this institution, will leave this location an unforgettable (in the worst sense of the word) spot to visit. To the point:
Driving on the road around the lake, you are met by a character who will ask you the question "do you want to go to the lake or to Stalin's dacha?". If you tell him that you are going to the lake, he will show you the way to the cafe, for parking which they will ask 500 rubles, or make an order in the amount of 1000 rubles + free parking. Having refused, on departure, the above character will start throwing insults at your back, ala "a lover of massaging the male genital organ with his mouth (of course using obscene, non-permissive Yandex vocabulary)." It's not worth asking why he uses such vocabulary in your direction, I say right away.
Bottom line: visit this place if you want to spoil the impression of such a magnificent natural object with unforgettable views.

We were in a cafe on the veranda with an excursion to Lake Ritsa. Dinner at the end of the trip, of course, I already wanted to eat after a trip lasting 6 hours and endless tastings. The lake is beautiful, the places are wonderful... That's all... The time on the lake in the excursion at 8 o'clock is limited, about an hour, so we were afraid that we would not have time to try grilled dishes and ride catamarans, we decided to order what would be served quickly. We ordered fish soup and pilaf, saw, while we were waiting with coupons, how they took everything out of plastic buckets from refrigerators and combined fish soup in a plate and put fish to it, then they also collected and heated pilaf from separate parts. Here we would have stopped, but, no, the kind of dishes is normal, we ate, and at night four out of five had a nightmare. There has never been such a poisoning in my life. Thank God there were only adults among us. The next two days were spent only in bed. We remembered for a long time the dinner at the Ritz with a price tag of 6000 for four: fish soup, pilaf and tea. It didn't happen to anyone... We are happy for you!

An interesting approach. In fact, we were forced to come here in order not to pay for parking. The conditions are such that either parking is 500 rubles, or in a cafe you collect at least 1000 rubles and parking without payment.
Such an approach. Well, the place itself does not inspire confidence. The sink is around the corner of the neighboring building, without soap, the conditions are terrible. It smacks of unsanitary conditions, to be honest. There is a huge flow of tourists, and few people worry about quality here.
It is better to spend time and look for a parking lot nearby.

24. They catch us right off the highway to a paid parking lot. They offer to either pay 500 rubles for it, or dial a check in a cafe from 1000 rubles. It would be fine, but the kitchen there is disgusting. We took khachapur round for 800 rubles and 2 Abkhazian lemonades for 150 rubles, which taste no different from our aunt pears and mojitos for 40 rubles in any networker. Khachapur is one dough. There is almost no cheese. Friends took mashed potatoes with cutlets and a hodgepodge. We couldn't finish anything - it's not tasty. At the same time, 10% of the receipt is charged for the service that did not exist. There were no appliances, there were no napkins on the table. There is no Wi-Fi (even the toilet has Wi-Fi) payment is only in cash.
2 stars only for the lake view.
Everyone who praises in the reviews, they write about other cafes. Specifically, this one, which is the first one at the entrance, is bypassed. I don't know about the others.
Go further to the paid parking, or a little further you can stand for free by the road.

Why is there no enhanced quality control at such popular sites? At the same time, the price is like a decent restaurant. Don't repeat my mistakes and avoid this place.

I am writing a review for a cafe that is in the parking lot, it is terrible, it is not worth one star, do not be fooled, it is better to eat elsewhere and pay 500 rubles for parking than to get poisoned in this cafe. That's what happened to our child. The food is disgusting, not tasty. Kampots and juices are diluted with water, and the price tag on them is like freshly squeezed juices. The child ate noodles and vomited all night, poisoning. Do not go to this cafe if your health is dear to you!

I would argue about the cafe. The kitchen is not bad, but the prices do not match the quality. You serve yourself: you paid for it, with a tray in one window for hot, in another for tea. Thank you for cleaning up after the visitors. Tables and benches are on the street under a canopy. There is a small hall, it's nice and cozy there. I wouldn't visit three times.

Here is the coolest barbecue on the Ritz. I have already visited and eaten 3 or 4 times, for 2 years - and everything is still at a high level. Very tasty, everything is super fresh. Before this tour, I was on others and heard more than once from other participants that the food was not very tasty at the Ritz, but after seeing the number of cafes, I thought maybe it was in another place, in fact I realized that this is 1000% of the total problem of all catering on this beautiful lake.
Dear readers of reviews, there are only rygalovki, take this into account when planning trips, in no case feed your children and refrain yourself, in other circumstances I would describe all this only with a three-story mat!

2. Parking is free for cafe visitors, but going down you no longer have a choice - either eat or pay. And you've never seen the menu yet (to turn around and leave - you have to argue, apparently)
3. Food: we didn't like it, it was expensive and there was little choice. It's expensive - in comparison, we understand that it's a tourist place, but we only ate in tour places and there is something to compare it with. The meat in Abkhazian was the most worthy of all ordered
4. I am applying prices for September 2023.
5. Speaking of parking: if there are places on the right side of the cafe, they were forced to park exactly in front of the cafe steps, thereby closing the normal passage to visitors. All the way that we ate, we had to watch the car so that none of the guests enraged by such parking would harm the car.

The most beautiful place, I want to come back again and again. In December there is a beautiful Christmas tree and there are practically no tourists. At the end of September, the lake and the Bzyb River became shallow, but in April they are in all their glory. You can ride catamarans 500 rubles for 30 minutes per person. Parking is paid 500 rubles at the bottom, but if you order food at their cafe and take a ride on their catamaran, parking will be free. You can swim up to Stalin's dacha by catamaran, but you can't park to the shore.

I understand there are no normal cafes and restaurants in Abkhazia (. I have been to various poor countries, such as India, Thailand, but nowhere have I seen such a disregard for tourists (((. Here, in the Grotto cafe, gullible tourists are led by well-fed guides, everything is too expensive and not tasty here. The staff is not very polite. The plastic tables are squalid. If you walk a little further, literally a hundred or two hundred meters in the other direction along the coast, you can find many cafes with prices twice as low and with a much more pleasant interior.
